Echoes of torment whisper in the shadows
My wings lie broken and tattered

Amongst the wreckage of shattered dreams
And the weight of despair crushes my soul

The voices in my head are a cruel chorus
Their words like knives cutting deep

Reminding me of every mistake I've made
And every life I've left in ruins

I try to silence them
To push them away

But they cling to me like a dark cloud

My every breath
Leaving me drowning in self-loathing

I long to rise above it all
To once again soar

But my sins drags me down
So I'll forever be a fallen angel

Forever cursed to wander aimlessly
In the darkness of my own mind

I am lost
A prisoner of my own making

Bound by the chains of my past
And haunted by the voices in my head
