Ramiris: Of course it will. But my spirit will devolve because of my body. But it doesn't matter since I'm the strongest. That's why I need to let loose at times like this!

Dino: Gii, Ramiris seems she has something to say.

Ramiris: Are you an idiot! I know what to say to the right person! I've never even thought of beating down Gii in one punch!

Seeing Dino trying to talk to the red-haired man, Ramiris immediately stops him. She begins to find excuses with her voice lowered to mumble her complaint.

She's only good at words and is super quick to change her stance.

Next one to come in was a beautiful woman who I realized was Frey. I could already feel both Souka and Lumy looking at me, as if daring me to think about something that involved Frey. But, it wasn't me they had to worry about.

Jasper (Rimuru...)

Rimuru (I wasn't-)

Jasper (Don't lie, I know you too well! )

Shizue: Mr. Slime, what are you staring at?

Despite her calm tone and smile, a dark aura of murderous intent appeared around her.

Rimuru: Huh! N-Nothing!

It seems I wasn't the only one to notice his little staring at the newest arrival.

I could already see the blush and stupid look that he was fantasizing about Frey and her... assets. However, the rest of our group was more focused on her male attendant.

Souka: Jasper, the male attendant with Lady Frey...

Jasper: I noticed.

Demon Lord Carrion... in the world's most obvious disguise.

Jasper (Rimuru, I'm pretty sure Carrion is-)

Rimuru (There's no way he'd wear have such an obvious disguise. I thought the same. But, we gotta give him more credit than that.)

Jasper (But, that's clearly-)

Rimuru (I'm sure we'll find out what really happened to him during the banquet.)

Is... is he f*cking with me!?

{Mimir: Notice, he is not f*cking with you.)

Rimuru... little brother... I love you. But, sometimes you are the biggest dumbass I know.

???: So, you're Rimuru?

We all looked over and saw him... Demon Lord, Leon Cromwell.

Rimuru: Yes, did you need something. Demon Lord, Leon.

Leon: No... it's just that you're appearance reminded me someone.

He looked over to see Shizue glaring at him.

Leon: It's nice to see again, Shizue.

Shizue: Like wise, Cromwell.

Rimuru: You should know she nearly died because of you!

Leon: I'm aware. I expected it, since it was only natural. Considering she rejected Ifrit and refused to become a Majin.

Shizue: You made me suffer throughout my life here, forcing me to hold on to Ifrit and making me do many... horrible acts! I have one request, let me slug you...

Leon: Denied. Understand that I gave you the opportunity to choose you're own path in life. You decided to continue living as a Human, so I gave Ifrit as a parting gift and left you behind to act as a vanguard thereby giving you the chance to leave. I see no reason as to why I should be hit

Shizue seemed surprised by this explanation and that there was a hint of legitimate regret in his tone, but she was still rather angry at him for obvious reasons.

Leon: Though Rimuru. I have taken an interest in you. I will invite you to my castle, and should have an issue see me there. However, if you believe it to be a trap then your free to decline. Of course, you can also bring Ms. Shizue too if you like.

Rimuru: Shizue?

Shizue: ...I guess. I'm willing to hear him out, but I still don't trust him

Rimuru: ...Fine by me. Send me the invitation, we'll be there with bells on.

Leon: Of course, that's only if you leave here alive.

Leon then sat down in the seat next to Rimuru and gave me a passing glance. Though it was subtle, he notable tensed a bit when he got in hitting distance of me.

The last ones to arrive were Milim and Clayman, I saw the pendant on her and realized... she's just playing along. As for Clayman, he seemed annoyed at Milim moving a little but didn't do anything when he saw me. I saw him give out a small chuckle at seeing me before sitting down.

After that, two look-outs appeared that were above the room, a small group of magical steps appeared. I saw Citrine go up to the right one and I did the same of the left. These two seats were for the mediators of the group. Meant to watch over them all.

Raine began introductions: from oldest to youngest of the Demon Lords.

Demon - Lord of Darkness, Gii Crimson.

Dragonoid - Destroyer, Milim Nava.

Pixie - Fairy of the Labyrinth, Ramiris.

Giant - Continent's Wrath, Dagruel.

Vampire - Bloody Lord, Roy Valentine.

Fallen - Sleeping Ruler, Dino.

Harpy - Sky Queen, Frey.

Demonoid - Platinum Saber, Leon Cromwell.

Deathman - Marionette Master, Clayman.

Slime - Ruler of Monsters, Rimuru Tempest.

There was also a missing seat that was clearly meant for the "deceased" Carrion. After that, Mizeri introduced the two Mediators of the banquet:

Nephilim - Prince of Darkness, Jasper Crimson.

Ettin - Queen of the Earth, Citrine.

It was then that Clayman stood from his seat to make an announcement.

Clayman: I'd like to start by thanking you all for responding to my summons, I am truly humbled by you're presence here tonight. Shall we begin? Without further ado, it is my honor to declare the commencement of the Demon Lord's banquet of Walpurgis!

 He then gave a long drawn out speech about his reason for calling Walpurgis, the cliff notes are this.

Carrion came to visit Rimuru and tempted him to become a Demon Lord, he used the fact that his Beastketeers and most of Carrion's army being in Tempest as proof. Before continuing, he briefly paused and gave Valentine a weird look. Then, he said that Carrion instigated the kingdom of Falmuth which lead them to invade the Jura forest, Carrion then offered to cooperate with our people to fight off Falmuth and caused harm to the Humans. Afterwards, Rimuru declared himself a Demon Lord with Carrion giving him his backing and manipulating events to earn favortism from me.

Clayman: Such self serving behavior violates the pact made by the Demon Lords. I know this because my subordinate Myuran who got me this information was killed by this despicable fool who calls himself Rimuru! Which is why I've made up my mind to take vengeance!

He somewhat convincing. But, the story is rather mumbled. Also, where's the evidence? The witnesses? All this is just speculation at most. This is unnaturally carless especially for Clayman... what the hell is going on!? He would never make such fatal mistakes!

Clayman: Even worse, Rimuru conspired with Carrion in an attempt to end my life. My dear Myuran, used the last of her strength to give me this info. Afterwards, when Milim learned of his betrayal; she was enraged and destroyed the animal kingdom along with Carrion. Naturally, I admonished her and told her to never do such a thing without evidence since it would be unforgivable.

He then concluded by saying Rimuru was a fool who gave Demon Lords a bad name and that it would be better to purge him.

Raine: Next, our guest will give their own explanation.

Rimuru: Clayman, right? Whatever, you're a massive liar.

Clayman: Excuse me?

Rimuru: First of all, that status of Demon Lord means nothing to me. So, that part about Carrion deceiving me is complete BS and the Falmuth attacked out of their own greed. 

Clayman: You think we'll take your word for it? If you forgot, one of my subordinates was killed.

Rimuru: Myuran is alive.

Clayman scowled at this.

Clayman: Grr! Of all the ludicrous statements.

Rimuru: She supposedly testified to you, but she's in my care and I won't let you get near her. You're word alone will never be enough to convince anyone here.

Clayman: You would really do something so cowardly? Did you tamper with corpse and entrapped some evil spirit inside of it?

Rimuru: I figured it wouldn't be enough to convince you. Which is why... I brought evidence.

He showed an image of Yamza begging for Clayman to spare him before being forcefully turned as a vessel for Charybdis. After that, it then showed the Clowns Footman and Teare mentioning Clayman's plan being a failure before mentioning a Lord.

That Lord... Yuuki Kagurazaka!

{Mimir: That does seem likely, but there is some evidence that points to the work of someone else.}

Like what?

{Mimir: Currently, investigating.}

Clayman: This is nothing more then a fabrication! A clever bluff you made with you're own magic to back your lies! As if we'd fall for such trickery, you foolish Slime!

Rimuru: Only a moron would call it a bluff. Your army's been wiped out Clayman, the question is... are you prepared to join them?

He then ranted about how Rimuru broke Veldora's seal and used him to wipe out the army, and then made himself a Demon Lord.

Dagruel: Quick Question. Earlier, you said this Rimuru fellow conspired with Carrion and instigated Falmuth's army before wiping them out.  If it's true that Veldora's back, then why take such round about measures to achieve his goal?

Clayman: Tsk! Indeed, an excellent question... fortunately, I would be happy to explain.

He then went on about he Rimuru was lucky to obtain a Demon Lord seed before heading to the Human realm to investigate his new "treasure", before starting a war with Falmuth and used Veldora to stage a brutal genocide.

Citrine: Wait, so if any of what you said is true that shows his cleverness and if he did indeed break Veldora's seal as you say... then that still says quite a bit about his power and potential.

Clayman: W-What!? H-Hold on, that's not what I meant!

Clayman realized he had just backed himself further into a corner and kept trying to make excuses before demanding that a purge is the only way to save the reputation of the Demon Lords.

Clayman: I believe a purge is the only way to be rid of this nuisance! Who's with me!?

Everyone remained silent.

Rimuru: Listen buddy, even if what you say is true, there's still no proof. All you have been telling us is what you wish happened. Without evidence, you're not gonna convince anyone here.

Clayman: That's enough! You're just a Slime borrowing a Hybrid and Dragon's power. It's unthinkable that someone like you could become a Demon Lord!

Rimuru: First off, doesn't borrowing a Hybrid's power apply to you as well? Secondly, Veldora and Jasper are my friends, their not weapons.

He then explained how Phobio a majin under Carrion an attest to Clayman trying to use Charybdis and stated that the clowns in the images were the ones who carried it out and also pointed out how a man became Charybdis against his will and is currently on a rampage.

Rimuru: The majin named Myuran who was under your command can testify to all these actions. If you think I'm bluffing that's you're call, you can think it all the way to you're grave!

He then used {Gluttony} to put the table in his stomach, causing Clayman to fall on the floor.

Clayman: Come now! Are we really gonna let him get away with such violence!? What he's doing is an insult to Demon Lor-!?

Suddenly, a chair flew past him and crashed against the wall.

Rimuru: Violence? This coming from someone who tried to mind control during the entire speech. Those attacks don't work on me. But, I wonder if mind control via speech is allowed here?

Jasper: It's not... in favor of partiality for everyone here, you may only appeal to others using you're own physical words.

Everyone seemed a bit surprised I was taking the newbies side rather then Clayman's.

Clayman: B-But, Lord Jasper! He's insulting us Demon-

Rimuru: Shut up! If you got a problem with me, then it needs to be settled between the two of us.

He then walked into the middle of the chamber with everyone looking at him.

Rimuru: Like I said, the status of Demon Lord means nothing to me. I only want to build a nation where I can comfortably enjoy my life. I need the cooperation of Humans to achieve that, which is why I protect them. Anyone who threatens that whether be Humans, Demon Lord, or the Holy church is my enemy! That includes Clayman, so get ready!

Gii: ...He does have a valid point Clayman. If you are a Demon Lord, then you should be able to fight this Majin yourself. Prove you're strength and win. After all, no weaklings deserve the title of Demon Lord.

He then looked at Rimuru and asked if he was confirming himself a Demon Lord. Rimuru pointed out that as the ruler of the Monsters, most Humans already associate with the title so there's no point in denying it.

Gii: Fortunately, you're surrounded by a room of witness. Defeat Clayman in front of us and we'll recognize you. Do our mediators have an issue with this?

Citrine: None.

Everyone then stared at me with anticipation. After all, this was pitting someone who I clearly favored against another.

Jasper: ...I have no issue.

Clayman: Heheh! My, it appears my unwillingness to get my hands dirty has me in a precarious situation. I suppose even I make mistakes, all the scheming made my a victim of my own design. That's your queue, Milim.

Everyone immediately turned to Milim who sat up with an emotionless expression.

Rimuru: Typical, making others do your dirty work!? What's worse, is that your wrapping Milim up in all this.

Clayman: Don't worry, I have every intention of fighting myself. Do you take issue with this Gii?

Gii: Not at all. If Milim wants to assist out of her own volition, then I see no reason to stop her.

Rimuru: So... as long as a person in this is room is willing, they can assist me?

Everyone gave him a weird look.

Gii: Do you have someone here in mind?

Suddenly, everyone noticed me jumping down with Souka behind me.

Jasper: Mind if I take Rimuru's side in this?

Clayman's mind: What!? Why is the founder helping this Slime!?

I need to get involve... if I don't Rimuru could die before I figure out what's wrong with Clayman.

Gii: Oh? But, this is between Clayman and the newbie. Why should you get involve?

Velzard: I second that, I don't see a reason.

Jasper: But there is. First off, Milim techincally isn't involved either yet you're allowing her to join. Secondly, I did help Rimuru build the nation of Tempest so techincally by declaring war on Rimuru you declare war against me. So, I'm very much involved.

Gii: I see... very well.

Velzard instantly leaned next to him.

Velzard: Gii...!

Gii: Calm down, I curious to see how this goes and I doubt anything bad will happen to him.

That reminds me...

{Mimir: The amulet on her is incapable of controlling her mentally.}

Figures... she's doing this of her own free will.

Rimuru: I was planning on freeing Milim from you're control anyway. But, I'll do it by force if I have to.

I did consider telling him about Milim. But, if he didn't listen to me about Carrion... why would he about Milim.

Clayman: A foolish ambition, all you do is die miserabley.

Rimuru: Please, killing you is a simple task. But, doing that would just be me bullying the weak. So, I'll have subordinates deal with you.

Shion immediately reacted by launching at Clayman and star-platinumed him into the ground.

Shion: My lords, shall dispose of him?

Jasper: -_-

Rimuru: Next time, ask before you destroy a dude...

He then got and thanks to his Ultra-speed regeneration he was good as new. He then summoned his fox who became much larger.

{Mimir: That's nine head, the thumb of Clayman.}

He then summoned a cloaked four armed robotic being.

{Mimir: An Elemental Metalloid named Viola who is capable of using Fire magic, Storm Magic, and Ice Magic.}

Nine-head then turned two of tails into living companions. Afterwards, Rimuru summoned Ranga who took on his full size and he called upon Tempest Wolves. I originally planned on having Lumen and Nox join the fight, but realized it'd be too unfair.

Clayman: Milim, kill that Slime.

Milim immediately struck at Rimuru, but I jumped in and blocked her attack before slamming her into the ground.

Jasper (Milim! You better not hold back on me!)

Milim (Jasper! I-I...)

Jasper (We'll talk later... but, you better put on a good show.)

She suddenly kicked me below the chin before twirling back to Clayman's side.

Dino: Hey... won't a fight between those two even not at full power destroy this place?

Gii: Well, we wouldn't want that now would we?

Gii, Velzard, and Citrine set up a barrier around us and the room of Walpurgis suddenly expanded, giving us more room to fight.

With that, the combatants were set:

Rimuru & Shizue vs Clayman.

Shion & Souka vs Viola.

Ranga vs Nine-head.

Jasper vs Milim.

Thus, the battle of Demon Lords at Walpurgis had begun.

Meanwhile

In one of the two carriages making their way to Falmuth, Diablo and Aqua stood in one.

Diablo: My, my. Shion and Nox made such a mess.

Aqua: Even though I only recently met them. It's pretty easy to see that they cause this often. How troublesome...

Diablo: Honestly, recovery Magic wouldn't work on... these. Just what kind of spells could shape and twist laws like this?

Aqua: Apparently, it's a skill Shion got after Lord Rimuru evolved into a Demon Lord. It's called {Master Chef] and it can apparently twist the laws of reality into whatever the user deems ordinary based on their sheer will power.

Diablo then brought a spell.

Diablo: This will a little rough, but please bear with it.

A few minutes of Magic and pain filled screams later.

Reyheim: I... I'm whole again!? Thank you sir Diablo, and Lady Aqua!

Diablo: Shut up trash.

Aqua gave the man something to cover himself up, and told Diablo let her heal Razen.

Razen: Please... the king... turn him back... before me...

Aqua : You're names... Ramen right?

Diablo: Miscalculation on Shion's part, it's Razen. But, surely he realizes how big his request is...?

With that, Aqua restored Razen.

Razen: Please... I humbly request that you accept me as your lowly servant. I shall devote my life and soul to you both from here after... so please, have mercy on King Edmalis.

Aqua: Alright, though the payment is a bit cheap. There is some use we can get from you, so we'll put him back together.

Diablo: But, we will not allow disrespect to our masters. Should you show any sign of rebellion to our masters.

Both: We will obliterate not only the King's life, but also all of Falmuth's.

Razen: Certainly... my loyalty is to you.

Reyheim: M-ME TOO!!! I'LL DO ANYTHING YOU ASK!!! I am an Archbishop of the western holy church. I will surely be useful!

Aqua: I can agree with that statement. As for Folgen, we'll restore him with the king after we reach the kingdom.

Edmalis: As... the last king... of Falmuth... as Sir Diablo and Lady Aqua ask... I will cooperate.

Diablo: Rest assured. Follow us, and we won't do anything.

Aqua: Shortly, we'll be in Falmuth.

Diablo: The trifling matter of subjugating the country... let's finish this, without delay.

They heard something from Youm who was in the other carriage, and looked out to see the kingdom of Falmuth just a few miles away.
