We arrived to see Treyni and the Dryads already battling the monster. Our forces quickly moved out with the first to attack being Benimaru.

Benimaru: {Hell Flare}!

He quickly threw the flare which completely engulfed one of the Megalodon's, killing it instantly.

Rimuru: That's Benimaru for you. Still...

Shuna: It's surprising that his attack didn't destroy it...

Jasper: Probably because Charybdis has been using a Magic Jamming skill to effect the abilities of anyone that is weaker then it.

We then witness Geld and Gabiru work together to take down another. Around the same time Dorf showed up with the Pegasus knights from Dwargon to assist us.

Jasper: This looks so fun, can I have one?

Rimuru: No.

Jasper: Oh, come on!

Rimuru: Go sit over there!

I just glared at him, before reluctantly walking over and sitting down to watch the battle unfold. Gobta and the Goblins riders served as a diversion for Hakuro to deal with another.

Rimuru: Hakuro is no joke.

Benimaru: Regaining some of his youth, appears to have bettered his fighting style.

Milim then showed up and walked towards Jasper.

Milim: How's it going?

Jasper: Boring. Why are you here?

Milim: I wanted to join in.

Jasper: I don't think they'll let us...

Milim: Well, maybe if we ask together they'll give up.

I doubted that would work, but I had nothing better to do so I agreed.

Both: We wanna play too!

Rimuru: Milim, what you doing here? Didn't I tell you stay back in town? And Jasper, why are you encouraging this?

Milim: You didn't say I couldn't watch, and staying in town was so boring!

Jasper: While the army can take on the Megalodons, I doubt anyone but us can handle the big fish itself. So let us join in!

Rimuru: No way!

Jasper (Milim, you know what to do.)

Milim attempted to use her cuteness and puppy dog eyes to her advantage.

Rimuru: Those sad eyes won't work on me! And Jasper I know you gave her the idea, stop it!

Both: FINE!!

Souei and Souka worked together and use their {Steel Thread} to make 2 of the Megalodons crash and bite into each other. We then saw Shion and Ranga working together.

Rimuru: When did Ranga learn to fly!?

Benimaru: More importantly, when did they decide to work together...?

Ranga used {Black Lighting} to shoot down one of the Megalodon's, while Shion used her blade Hercules's edge to cut down another.

Milim: Please let us fight!

Rimuru: Sorry, but the answers still no.

She sighed in annoyance before coming over to me, and used my chest a pillow to sleep.

Gobta and his riders, failed to take down a Megalodon so Hakuro killed instead and stated that he may need to be harder on their training. Making Gobta object and accidently call him an "old man", now becoming a victim of Hakuro's wrath.

The only one left was Charybdis, which made Rimuru worry since Charybdis was both massive and very powerful.

{Great Sage: Answer: The-}

Rimuru's mind: if you're gonna tell me anything, then tell me how to beat it.

{Great Sage: A strong suggestion, throw Jasper or Milim at it.}

Rimuru's mind: ...Any other options?

{Great Sage: ...}

Rimuru: Doesn't look like there doing much dammit to it.

Benimaru: Agreed...

Jasper: So does that mean-

Rimuru: Just sit over there and watch Milim.

Jasper: FINE!! But, I call dibs on the next powerful monster we fight!

Suddenly, the creature turned into scales into a torrent of blades that forced Dorf and the knights to retreat and knock off everyone that was on it's back. Those who had been knocked off were barely able to dodge or block the attacks, before Rimuru finally jumped in and used {Gluttony} to devour all the scales.

Rimuru then took Charybdis on in a 1v1, which while Rimuru was doing a fair amount of damage. When Charybdis attacked it decimated a part of the forests. Before it's scales came back and it used the attack from earlier.

{Mimir: It appears to have Ultra-speed regeneration, meaning it can regenerate it scales every 3 min.}

Benimaru then gathered everyone and they along with Rimuru and the Pegasus knights went for an all out attack on it. But, after 2 hours and a half... it was still standing and didn't seem to be taking much damage.

Just how long will it take before this thing's health goes to 30% of it's health!?

{Mimir: Due to magic jamming and it's ultra-speed regeneration and due to the difference in power. It will take... 11 hours at least.}

Oh hell no!

Jasper: Alright, everyone! You all did good, but now is a good time to retreat.

Benimaru: But, Prince Jasper-

Jasper: No buts! I've already calculated that due to the many factors going on right now it will take at least 11 hours for this bastard to lose 30% of it's health, and a prolong fight is only gonna result in more casualties and damage to the forests and maybe even potential death. So, everyone fall back and leave it to me!

They all hesitated at first, before nodding their heads and falling back along with the knights. I unfurled my wings and flew up to Rimuru.

Rimuru: Oi! What did I-

Jasper: Not now! Look, it's gonna take you guys at least 11 hours to get this thing to 30% HP. So, I now deemed it a good time to get involved.

Before he could retort, we heard a loud voice...

???: D-Damn you... Jasper!

What?

We both turned to Charybdis and it seemed to be looking at us, or rather specifically glaring at me.

{Mimir: Charybdis appears to harbor a great sense of hatred towards master.}

Rimuru: So the dudes angry... at Jasper? So big one-eyed fish bird here was coming to us because of a grudge. Meaning, that he doesn't even care about Veldora... talk about a bother. Sorry again Jasper...

Jasper: Hey it's alright, just let me handle this.

He nodded before standing a good distance away to watch. Now seeing me only, Charybdis attack while screaming my name in anger. It attempted to used that torrent scale ability, but it did absolutely nothing to me. So I used one of my intrinsic skills {Frost Breath} to freeze the air around me, causing all the shards to become ice and immediately shatter. But, the sudden use of power woke someone up...

Milim: OI! Jasper you traitor!

She immediately flew up to me, clearly annoyed.

Milim: I wanna fight too!

Jasper: Hey, this guys got a bone to pick with me for some reason. So I should deal with him.

She looked confused, before she used her {Milim's Eye} to look into Charybdis.

Milim: Oh, it seems he's being possessed by the Phobio guy that pissed you off earlier.

Rimuru: Seriously, him again?

Jasper: Mmm... alright fine, you take one half and I'll take the other.

Milim: Deal!

Rimuru: In that case, can you guys figure out how to kill it but spare him. Since Phobio's still a servant of Demon Lord Carrion.

Both: Don't worry, we'll use restraint!

She went to his left side, while I went to his right.

Milim: Drago-Buster!

Jasper: Piercing-Heaven!

When both our attacks landed, it completely Annihilated the thing. Leaving only the falling and some what scorched body of Phobio that Rimuru manage to catch.

Rimuru with aid from {Great Sage} manage to separate the core of Charybdis from Phobio, before giving the ok for a Health potion to be used on him.

Dorf: Lord Rimuru, Prince Jasper...

Rimuru: Hey Dorf, we couldn't have done this without you.

Dorf: We didn't do anything, we know you were responsible for half of that damage Prince Jasper... but who did the other half?

Rimuru: Oh yeah, would you believe us if we said this was Demon Lord Milim?

He then looked at Milim, before he chuckled and said that we had a fondness for jokes. Much to Milim's annoyance and my amusement. In the end, he just assumed we had some weapon we were hiding until the end and then left.

Rimuru: Hey you awake?

Phobio: Wha... where am I... w-what happened...?

Jasper: Are you saying you don't remember?

He looked up at me and his widened in realization, before he quickly bowed to us.

Phobio: Please forgive me! I've done something unthinkable to one of your lords and worst of all got you all including Lady Milim involved!

Treyni: How did you know where Charybdis was sealed in the forest? It would've been impossible for you to just stumble upon it.

Rimuru: Answer them.

He then explained how 2 clowns came and told him the location before showing him how to fuse with it. He said that the Harlequins were called Footman and Teare. Before he could continue, Jasper knelt down and in the dirt drew 3 clown mask. An eerie mask with a smile and bunny ears, an angry almost beastial mask, and a sad mask the had a tear drop on it.

Jasper: Did either of them look like these?

Phobio: The angry looking one and the one with a tear drop.

I remember chasing after the big angry man in the forest, the bunny eared and the tear drop ones were from that random drawing that I came across and kept.

Gabiru commented on how the bunny eared one was a clown named Laplace who worked with Gelmud and also mentioned how he was the vice president of a Jack of all trades group called the moderate Harlequin Alliance, which Treyni took note of. The Kijin also made sure to remember the one called Footman, due to him being the angry looking one behind there home's destruction.

Jasper: Got any ideas Milim?

Milim: It might be Clayman, he's always scheming up something.

Rimuru: Demon Lord Clayman, huh?

Phobio: Whatever happened it's my own responsibility, It's not Lord Carrion's fault. So please, take my life, but leave him out of this!

Before anyone could react, I stood in front of Phobio with Lumen in my hands. Rimuru tried to stop me, but Milim blocked him. Phobio looked at me and just closed his eyes and accepted his fate. I swung and... left only small cut on his neck.

Jasper: Alright, you're good.

Phobio: W-What?

Jasper: I wanted to test if you were being sincere in your apology. When I looked into your eyes I saw a hint of fear, but that's natural when it comes to facing death. Despite that, you held your head high and accepted your fate and responsibility. So, you get to live. Next time, don't just trust some random people you meet.

Benimaru: I see, so Prince Jasper was testing his character.

Hakuro: As excepted. He's able to judge someone's worth through intriguing methods.

Rimuru: Don't do that again. You gave me a heart attack!

Jasper: What about you Milim?

Milim: Well, I did consider giving Phobio one good punch. But, after what you just did I think we're all even.

Rimuru: Anyways, we're all good.

Jasper: Yeah... also, is the person watching us right now Demon Lord Carrion?

Milim: Yes it is. Come out Carrion! Me and Jasper know you're here.

From the trees came a tall and muscular yellow haired figure. His sudden appearance startled everyone aside from me, Milim, and the Dryads

Carrion: So you both knew I was here?

Milim: Naturally.

Carrion: Hey, Jasper was it? Thanks for being so understanding and sparring my foolish subordinates life.

He then narrowed his eyes at us.

Carrion: So, your the ones who defeated Gelmud and the Orc Lord...?

Rimuru: That's right, are you here to avenge him?

Everyone then tensed up, while Carrion gave us a bemused look before chuckling.

Carrion: I'll pass... you, get up.

Phobio: Yes sir...

Carrion walked over and suddenly grabbed his head before smashing his face into the ground with alot a force.

Milim: :)

Rimuru: 0_0

Jasper: -_-

Carrion: Sorry about the trouble my subordinate caused you both, he got carried away and it's my fault for not keeping a better eye on him. Please forgive him.

Jasper: I already did, when he accepted that he would die.

Carrion: I saw that, which is why I'm gonna be a little lenient on his punishment, though not by much. I'll owe you one, if you both ever need something you can count on me.

Rimuru: Now that you mention it, what do you think about possibly entering into a non-aggression pact with our nation?

Carrion: Is that all you want?

Jasper: That and maybe a trade agreement in the future, once we get some merchants.

Carrion: Alright, we can sort this out right now. On behalf of the beast kingdom of Eurazania, and in the name of the Demon Lord and Beast Master Carrion. I swear to never raise a blade against your nation!

Both: Thanks.

After that, he picked up the now heavily bleeding Phobio and walked away.

Carrion: We're bound to meet again at some point in the future, Jasper and Rimuru.

He teleported away with his men.

After that, we gathered all of the Megalodon bodies to bring back to Tempest so we could hold a massive feast for both defeating the powerful calamity class monster Charybdis and establishing friendly relations with the Demon Lord Carrion and his nation of Eurazania.
