Percy: (Smiles.) The demon is gone, Scanlan. The curse is lifted.-

YN: Nope, fuck that thing.

YN snatches it from Scanlan.

Percy: Wait, what are you doing!?

Without saying anything, he tosses it in the acid.

Percy: No! What were you thinking!?

YN: Wait for it.

Nothing happens as it melts.

YN: ...I fucked up.

Percy: (Grabs YN collar shirt.) You know how much that cost!? How bloody long it will take me to make ano-

Suddenly the demon screeches from pain and it dies.

Percy: Well, I'll be damned. Thanks you guys. All of you. For the second chance.

Percy and Cassandra smiles before they all leave by Vax and Keyleth stop before she curiously ask YN.

Keyleth: Hey, how'd you know that demon was still in there?

YN: When it comes to demons, no loose ends.

Scanlan: (Smiles.) Plus it was a total guess.

They then leave and head outside and see the clouds in the sky are gone as the sun shines through the whole Whitestone. The people of the Whitestone are getting rid of the zombie corpses and burning them as they see the heroes of their home and cheering for them.

Keyleth: W-what do we do?

Vex: Just nod and smile, Kiki. (Smiles.) Of course. Our pleasure. It was nothing, nothing at all.

As they walk through the crowd, Scanlan spotted a shirtless man whose sweating and he smirks.

Scanlan: Oh, hello, handsome.

Scanlan: Scanlan Shorthalt, rebel leader. Yeah, you've probably heard of me. Anyway, I may need a bed tonight.

    You see, freedom-fighting is tiring work. So I was just wondering if maybe- (Yelps.)

Vax drags him away.

Vax: These people just survive the apocalypse, Scanlan. They don't need your gonorrhea.

Grog: Oh, hello Mr giant. (Pulls the eye out.) I see you!

YN: We are not keeping that.

Cassandra ask what happens now to Percy about if he'll stay and rebuild. But he tells her that his entire life has been driven by fear and vengeance, he's not fit to be the leader. So instead, he pass it to his sister.

    At first, she refuses because how she's a traitor. But Percy reconsider that she's a survivor instead of a traitor. He ask her to help him to watch over the whitestone for their family and she nods.

    While that was happening, YN saw Keyleth next to the Sun Tree. Remembering what he said during the apocalypse.

YN: Hey uh, back when the zombies uh, tried to eat us and um what I said back then. I uh...really meant what I said.

Keyleth: (Smiles.) I know, YN. And its the first time anyone's ever said that to me. But we have responsibilities. To the realm. To my Aramenté. I...

Keyleth: (Sadden.) I just can't. I'm sorry...

YN: Hey.

YN gently holds her and smiles.

YN: Don't feel down about it. You're right, your people need you to guide them for their future. They wouldn't be in a better hands than you. Maybe some day I can be your knight.

Keyleth: (Chuckles.) The knight who shows his beauty. Though...I'm not sure about the beard.

YN: (Blushes.) Uh, what's wrong with it?

Keyleth: (Touches his beard.) It hides most of your face.

They both smiles before she walks away as Vax walk up to him and chuckles.

Vax: What was that all about? (Place his hand on YN shoulder.) Very remarkable woman.

YN: (Smiles.) Yeah...

Vex: Keeper Yennen, did any of you see a woman named Ripley flee from the palace? Tattered clothes? Missing hand? Total sociopath?

Yennen: I'm afraid not. Why?

Vex: I worry we'll meet her again.

Scanlan ask curiously about the orb back at the ziggurat. She said that the orb could be connected something beyond the veil. She also mentioned that their holy men went and investigate it, hoping that it won't be dangerous.

Scanlan: So, we stickin' around awhile or what? I could get use to being a hero.

Vax: No, we need to report to Emon before Uriel's men finds us and drag us back.

Vex: Really, brother? We could just-

Vax: Run? (Chuckles.) I think we're done with that. (Smirks.) Besides, you need to get punched in the face now and then...to know your alive.

Grog: Right. I'll find us some horses.

YN: Its gonna be a long journey ahead. Least we won't have zombie wolves after us.

Keyleth: Oh, uh, actually...I might be able to get us home a little quicker.

Keyleth explains that she can take them home fast by a tree spell but only works on the ones she seen before and that she can only do it once. She begins to have a second thoughts that its a bad idea but Vex encourage her.

Vex: (Smiles.) Darling. You've got this.

Keyleth: R-right. Yeah, uh totally. (Smiles.) Thanks Vex.

She approach towards the Sun Tree and speaks.

Keyleth: Sun Tree. Talk to me.

As she speaks to the tree, everyone sees the tree beginning to heal itself which made Percy happy.

Keyleth: (Smiles.) Aren't trees just the best?

Scanlan: Unless you count that one tree monster- ow!

YN smack his head to shut up. Soon she opens a green glowing portal to the tree.

Grog: Whoa. I think I peed a little.

Scanlan: Sure did buddy.

Keyleth: Uh, guys? I kinda can't hold this for too long.

Vax: Right, everybody in!

YN: Uh, you guys go without me. I think I'll take the long way-

Vex: (Scoffs.) Darling. (Pushes YN.) Just shut up and go.

YN: Hey, I hate portals- woah!

Vax helps his sister by pushing him in the portal before they rest goes through. Percy looks back to see Cassandra and Yennen one more time before he goes to the portal with a smile.
