"Do we really have to do this?" Wrecker asked.
"If Rex is sure, we should trust him. And, think of (Y/N), we can't risk it, not with her with us again. We lost her once, we can't afford to lose her again."

The Marauder approached Bracca, the junkyard planet was covered in waste from ships of all different kinds. The sandy atmosphere makes it look rusted.
(Y/N) stepped behind the squad to look out the window.
"What is this place?" Omega asked.
"A starship graveyard." Hunter answers.
The console beeps repeatedly.
"I'm picking up Rex's beacon." Echo announced.
Echo and Tech pilot the Marauder and land in a hole of an old and destroyed Star cruiser used for the Republic. The squad exited the Marauder and walked to Rex. Rex's cloak was now gone, and they could see his signature 501st armor.
"Right on time." Rex grinned.
"How's a junk planet gonna help us?" Wrecker asked.
"Follow me." Rex put on his helmet.
The squad followed in suit, each of them placing their helmets on their heads. (Y/N) pulled her hood over her face just in case.
The squad made their way through the ruins of starships of all shapes and sizes until they found themselves at a cliff, looking at a Jedi Cruiser. A ship (Y/N) was all too familiar with.
"Bracca may not be much to look at, but it has exactly what we need. I had my inhibitor chip taken out on a Jedi cruiser just like that. That's where we're heading." Rex pointed.
"Then why'd we land all the way over here?" Wrecker groaned.
(Y/N)'s ears twitched as she heard noise coming from a distance.
"Everyone get down!" She commanded.
The entire group laid on their stomachs.
"That's why." Rex said.
Tech lowered his scope over his goggles.
"It's the Scrapper Guild." He added.
"They control this entire planet." Said Rex.
The group watched at the skiff speeded patrolled around the ruins.
"We need to keep out of sight from their patrols."
(Y/N) told the group.
"Let's move."
They followed Rex across the scrapyard into the Jedi Cruiser. The cruiser was slanted, and wires of all sorts hung from the ceiling.
"Fives tried to warn us about the chips, but we didn't understand at the time." Rex said, gesturing to (Y/N) and himself.
"That's how you knew?" Hunter asked, to which
(Y/N) nodded.
"It's still hard to believe now." Says Echo.
"How did you boys find out about them?" Rex asks.
"Omega." Echo replies.
"The kid?" Rex raised an eyebrow from under his helmet.
The group made their way to the back of the cruiser, (Y/N) helped Omega up onto the platform. She stared in wonder at the giant engine. Tech offered his hand to (Y/N) and helped her up onto the platform, to which (Y/N) smiled kindly at him.
"This is an original Venator-class ship from the first batch off the line." Rex told Omega.
"First off the line, huh? Just like you, Rex. Ha!" Wrecker teased.
(Y/N) and Tech stopped behind Hunter and he looked into the pool of water surrounding the piece of the cruiser in the middle being used as a bridge.
"What is it?" Tech asked Hunter.
"Stay above the waterline." Was all Hunter said before continuing behind Rex.
Tech looked at (Y/N), who shrugged.
The group made their way to the top of the slanted metal from the cruiser, with only a narrow beam left to walk across to get to the hallways of the ship. The metal creaked and rumbled as each of them made it across and into the unstable hallways. The clones took out their flashlights.
"The last time I was aboard one of these it didn't end so well." Rex broke the silence.
"If the inhibitor chip isn't something you can control, how'd you get yours out?" Echo asked curiously.
"I had... help."
Rex suddenly came to a halt and wobbled a little bit, (Y/N) craned her neck to see why. There was a huge gap between the squad and the medical bay.
"The medical bay's at the other end." Rex then pointed his flashlight towards a cable.
"Wrecker, grab that cable."
"This? W-Why? W-W-What are you gonna do with it?" Wrecker bent down and grabbed the cable.
It didn't take long for the group to catch on to Rex's plan. The cable was already attached to the other end, so all they had to do was slide across. Rex went first, going slowly to try and test the stability. Once he made it to the other side, he motioned for the rest of the group to follow. Hunter, followed by Echo and Tech. Then Omega. Once Omega had reached the other side, (Y/N) decided to take her chances with something she was a little more comfortable doing.
She took a deep breath and allowed the Force to control her actions. She backed up from the edge and got a running start before leaping a great distance with the Force guiding her. She landed in a roll and stood up quickly, dusting herself off.
"Woah!!!" Omega smiled with wide eyes.
"I forgot you Jedi could just do that." Rex motioned to (Y/N).
"Heh. I'm no Skywalker, that's for sure." (Y/N) grinned.
The group turned to the last member who had yet to make it across the gap.
"You're up, Wrecker!" Echo announced.
"Uhhh...Yeah, my head doesn't hurt anymore. I'm fine. You guys go without me." Wrecker said nervously.
"You can do it! Just keep your eyes on the cable!" Omega encouraged the giant.
Wrecker groans in defeat as he climbs onto the cable and hangs upside down.
"Woah!" He yelps.
The cable makes a snapping noise and Wrecker is almost dropped, but he grips the cable for dear life.
"Woah! That was close." He nervously laughs.
Wrecker began to crawl again, but another snap was heard, this time even louder. And the cable snapped in half. And down went Wrecker.
"Wrecker!" The group yelled in panic.
As soon as the giant looked like he was about to hit the water, he stopped mere inches away due to his foot being caught and tied into the cable.
"Woah! Woah!" The giant yelled.
Omega pointed the flashlight down at Wrecker.
"Are you alright?" Rex called down.
"No! Smells awful down here! Bleh!" Wrecker gags.
Suddenly there's a shadow of a swimming creature gliding swiftly to where Wrecker was dangling. Omega gasped.
"What's that?" She panicked.
"Wrecker, start climbing!" (Y/N) yelled frantically.
"Why?" He asks, confused.
A tentacle wrapped around the giant's midsection and pulled him into the water. Wrecker shouts in surprise.
"Wrecker!" Omega screamed.
"Grab the cable! Get him up!" (Y/N) commanded.
Rex, Echo, and Tech pulled together with all their strength, finally getting Wrecker out of the water.
The creature, now being recognized by (Y/N) as a dianoga, screams.
"Faster! Pull faster!" Wrecker yelled frantically.
But it's no use. The dianoga's tentacles once again reach up and wrap around Wrecker's leg, pulling him back under as the boys strain to try and keep Wrecker above the water.
The water goes silent for a couple seconds. The group watched in fear as Wrecker failed to come back up.
But suddenly the water bubbles and Wrecker emerges from the water.
"Pull!" Omega yelled.
This time the entire group pulled as hard as they could to get Wrecker out of reach from the creature.
(Y/N) took out her blaster and started shooting at the tentacles, each of them hitting her target. The dianoga screeched in pain and recoiled its tentacles from Wrecker, allowing the group to pull the giant up onto the platform. Rex grabs Wrecker and makes sure he was fully on the platform before collapsing on the floor.
"What was... that?" Wrecker panted.
"Dianoga. Weird Trash Squid species." (Y/N) panted.
Author's note! The species is actually called a Trash Squid! I looked it up on the Star Wars Wiki! You're welcome! :)
"Makes you miss battling clankers, doesn't it?" Says Rex.
"Ugh. Yeah." Wrecker responds.

The group continued their path to the medical bay. Rex shone his flashlight under a door before confirming that it was indeed the med bay. He and Tech forced the door open. They all stepped inside and saw numerous womp rats scurrying around the area.
"This will do nicely." Rex took off his helmet.
"I would no longer call this medical bay a sterile environment." Says Tech.
"Do you prefer to use the facility on Kamino?" Rex asked as he walked away to explore.
"This will do nicely." Tech changed his mind.
"I'll calibrate the surgical pod." Echo says as he sticks his arm socket into the console.
The room whirs to life. Lights coming on, along with the pod and console.
Tech put his backpack down and grabbed his scanner.
"Time to get scanned Wrecker." He says.
"Let's just get this over with." The giant responds.
Hunter grabbed Wrecker's helmet and backpack and set them off to the side. Omega followed him. (Y/N) stood by Rex nervously.
"Hunter, just because the surgery worked on Rex, doesn't mean it's safe. This is dangerous." Omega says worriedly.
"It's more dangerous to leave the inhibitor chips in." Rex and (Y/N) joined the two.
"We have to do this. It's worth the risk." Hunter assured Omega.
"And what if something goes wrong? I'll be left here with no one." Omega added the last part quietly.
(Y/N) knelt down to the girl with soft eyes.
"We're not going anywhere. You're stuck with us for the long run. I promise. Got it?" (Y/N) shakily smiles to hide her fear.
Omega hugs (Y/N) tightly. Burrowing her head into (Y/N)'s shoulder. (Y/N) grips Omega tightly, making sure she feels secure. Hunter and Rex smiled at the interaction.
"I think I found something." Tech announced.
Everyone's attention turned to Tech as they made their way over to the clone. (Y/N) took off her cloak and placed it by Wrecker's helmet.
"Ninety degrees from his right orbital floor, below the parietal and temporal intersection-"
"Get that away from me." Wrecker growled, agitated as pushed Tech's scanner away.
(Y/N) gulped nervously. Omega made her way over to Wrecker and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Something's not right." She cried.
"We need to speed this up." Rex urged.
Echo and Tech nodded at the captain. Echo got the pod up and running.
"You boys got lucky. Very few clones were immune to the effects of Order 66. It's rare." Rex says solemnly
Wrecker's painful groans continue to get louder.
"When the regs attacked the Jedi on Kaller, we didn't understand why." Hunter says as he, Rex, (Y/N) and Omega leave the room.
"We couldn't save the general, but at least we helped the Padawan escape." He continues.
"You let Caleb escape?" (Y/N)'s heart fluttered with hope.
"Yeah. Crosshair almost shot him, scared him off." Hunter responds.
(Y/N) couldn't help but feel relief that Caleb had at least escaped. Master Bilaba and (Y/N) got along quite well, and (Y/N) adored Caleb and all the questions he'd ask (Y/N) about her lightsaber. Though chances are slim for survival, (Y/N) hopes to see him again in the future.
Suddenly, it was like time had stopped. (Y/N)'s head blared so loudly with the Force's warnings, she didn't have time to even think before she whipped around and ran straight back through the med bay doors. She was distantly aware of Hunter and Rex shouting behind her.
When she ran into the room, her eyes widened in horror at the scene.
Tech was laying on the ground, obviously unconscious, with Wrecker standing over him.
"Wrecker...?" (Y/N) asked in a tiny voice full of fear.
Wrecker whipped his head around and instead of a kind and warming smile on his face, was a cold and menacing expression. It sent chills down (Y/N)'s spine. (Y/N) didn't need to hear Omega's horrified gasp to know the others were behind her.
"You're in direct violation of Order 66. The Jedi must die."
