As the conversation between Mav and Gab continued, a familiar figure approached their table. Cream, another teammate from the basketball team, had overheard their discussion and decided to join in.

Cream had a reputation for stirring trouble, and her presence immediately put Mav and Gab on edge.

"How about we make a deal?" Cream said, a sly smile spreading across her face.

Gab and Mav's attention shifted to Cream, their expressions immediately hardening. Neither of them liked Cream, and it was obvious from the way they exchanged glances.

Gab asked, "Ano naman 'tong trip mo, Cream?"

Mav who's known for her "reckless" demeanor, leaned forward, her curiosity piqued despite her disdain for Cream. "What kind of deal?"

Cream's eyes gleamed with mischief. She took a seat across from them, her demeanor dripping with confidence. "Make Miraya yours in less than a week, and I'll give you my cousin's phone number."

Gab's face twisted in disgust. "Aya is a good person, Cream. This isn't a joke." She couldn't believe Cream would suggest something so callous, especially involving someone as genuine as Aya.

But Mav, ever the thrill-seeker, smirked and said, "Deal." Her response was met with a shocked look from Gab, who couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Gab shot Mav a look that clearly said, "Are you serious?" She couldn't fathom why Mav would agree to such a ridiculous proposition.

Mav shrugged nonchalantly, a confident grin on her face. "What could go wrong?"

Cream leaned back in her chair, her smile widening. "We'll see. Good luck, Mav." She got up and walked away, leaving Mav and Gab to process what had just happened.

Gab shook her head, her eyes filled with disappointment. "Mav, seriously? You're gonna play along with Cream's stupid bet?"

Mav leaned back, her expression nonchalant. "It's just a bit of fun, Gab. Besides, I could use the number."

Gab sighed, frustration evident in her voice. "It's not about the number, Mav. It's about respect. Aya doesn't deserve to be a part of this. She's a good person, and you're better than this."

Mav's confident facade faltered for a moment. Deep down, she knew Gab was right. But her impulsive nature and desire for thrill often got the best of her. "I'll make sure she doesn't get hurt. I promise."

Gab looked at Mav, her eyes filled with concern. "This isn't a game. People's feelings will get involved."

Mav nodded, a serious expression crossing her face. "I get it, Gab. I'll handle it. Trust me."

Gab sighed, knowing Mav's reckless side all too well. "Just don't do anything you'll regret. Aya's not just some game to be played."

Later that night, Mav found herself alone in her room, the thought played in her mind. The more she thought about the bet, the more she felt a sense of unease creeping in. She knew she had to make a choice, one that could change everything.

Tsaka it's Cream. She should've used her head.

Sitting on her bed, Mav stared at the ceiling, her thoughts a whirlwind of doubt and regret. She had always prided herself on being fearless and adventurous, but now she couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that she was in over her head.
