"(Y/N) chan, Inosuke, let's synchronize our attacks! You and Inosuke will slash at the flesh, which will allow me to strike at the bone!" Tanjiro suggested.

"Want to know something? That's not half bad! Good thinking!" Inosuke praised.

"Thank you!" Tanjiro shouted. He glanced at you to see if you agree with his plan or not. To his surprise, he sees you glaring at the driver with your sword raised. He could tell by your body language that you heard his plan seeing you not losing your guard.

"I trust you, Tanjiro." You responded.

"Let's do this!"

The three of you made your way to attack the flesh. The moment you begin to run, a couple of blue eyes appear on the flesh. You quickly covered Tanjiro's eyes to avoid him getting trapped in a dream. Unfortunately the same thing couldn't be said about you. Sleepiness is quickly consuming you. With all of your strength remaining, you grabbed Tanjiro and tossed him over to the engine room. As he's making his way, he spares a glance at you and then at Inosuke.

"(Y/N)! Inosuke! You must cut your necks when you dream! It's the only way to wake! Cut your necks!" Tanjiro shouted.

You closed your eyes and when you opened them, you saw yourself in the backyard of your home. You still have your demon slayer uniform on and your sword on your hip. Not wasting any time, you draw out your sword and use it to cut your neck.

Your eyes were about to fully open, but you stopped yourself in time. With your eyes still closed, you digged into your pockets and pulled out wrapping bandages that Aoi gave you before you left. You quickly wrapped them around your eyes before getting stuck in a dream. You turned around to guess where Tanjiro and Inosuke were.

Holy crap! This is terrifying! I don't have any keen senses to guide me to the engine room! The strong wind isn't helping with this either! You curled your hands into fists as you looked onward with determination. But I can't just twiddle my thumbs all day! I have to jump and hope God is watching my back. Otherwise, I'm going to suffer a PAINFUL death.

You took a deep breath and jumped up. The tentacles tried to attack you, but you started rapidly swinging your sword around like a maniac. Your blade managed to reduce them into ashes and you landed onto something squishy.

"You're not dreaming right now." Inosuke's voice is heard next to you. "Don't go falling for his trickery. You wanna look like a damn fool?" He scolded.

This must be the part where Inosuke stops Tanjiro from accidentally killing himself. "Tanjiro, Inosuke, are you two alright?" You asked. "I can't see anything."

"I just saved Tontaro's ass, (Mispronounced name). And don't worry about me. I'm wearing the hide of the Mountain God on my head. I bet he's too scared to look me in the eye!" Inosuke brags. He cuts down more of Enmu's flesh. "I'm right, aren't I?"

"Are the eyes gone? As you can see, I have no special talent that can help me with this." You explained.

"The eyes are gone. You can take off the bandages, (Y/N) chan." Tanjiro answered. "Also, don't sell yourself short. You're a talented Slayer."

Not what I meant, but I'll take the compliment. You took off the bandages and put them back into your pocket. Inosuke goes over to the pile of flesh with his swords raised. "Now we just gotta cut this thing to pieces!" He exclaimed.

You suddenly dash past Inosuke, confusing the boys. The driver has a stake in his hand and aims it at Inosuke.

"I won't let you take away my chance to dream!" He screams.

You kick the stake off his hand, which makes it go flying upwards. The driver gasps when you karate chopped his neck, rendering him unconscious.

"Y-You saved me..." Inosuke stutters.

"Of course I did. Why wouldn't I?" You beamed. Just as you were about to drag the driver to safety, the stake came flying down and stabs you in the shoulder. The blade goes deep into your shoulder blade causing you to yelp.

"(Y/N) chan!" Tanjiro cries out. He was about to go towards you to tend to your wounds. You extend your arm to him, making him halt his steps.

"I'm fine.... It's just a flesh wound...Focus on cutting off the head...I'll wrap my shoulder to stop the bleeding." You assured him. Both boys didn't have enough time to blink when they saw you quickly taking off your haori and rapidly wrapped the bandages around your shoulder and putting back on your haori. "Tada!" You posed.

She's fast, they sweat dropped.

Enmu's flesh begins to form into multiple hands and begin to attack you. The three of you jumped around while cutting off the flesh. Even with the burning pain on your shoulder, you still managed to swing around your sword. These hands pushed the three of you back to the coal compartment. This is it. The moment where Enmu gets killed is at your fingertips.

"(Y/N), Inosuke, we have to synchronize our breathing together!" Tanjiro stated. The two of you nodded in agreement and took a deep breath. The three of you jumped back towards the flesh and began to cut them up again. As you're getting closer to the spine, multiple eyes come out in an attempt to put you to sleep. Luckily Inosuke managed to stab every single eye.

"Beast Breathing, Fourth Form: Slice 'n Dice!" Inosuke shouted. He slices up the ball of flesh that was protecting the spine, leaving it exposed.

"Tanjiro, use Hinokami!" You shouted.

"I was just about to do that!" Tanjiro nodded. Father, please guide my blade, he prays. He changed his breathing style and aimed his blade at the spine. Hinokami Kagura! Clear Blue Skies, he attacked.

A powerful shockwave emerges throughout the train as well as an ear piercing scream. Tanjiro did it! He has succeeded in cutting off Enmu's head. Though this also means the train is now derailing.
