alive. Leo is a human. My life is perfect with my family here. I'm safe and happy here. No more getting injured and risking my life for animated characters. I have everything I ever wanted in here."

Your blood boils in anger after hearing what your counterpart said. How can you be so selfish!? You gasped when you thought about that. You were never a good person to begin with. Deep down you are the most selfish person to ever exist. You still are.

But you're working so hard to not be! With all your strength, you managed to leave the mirror and pull your counterpart inside. The two of you are floating in a subspace. The area is dark save for a few stars that are floating around. The shines in your eyes begin to glow as you forcefully grab your counterpart's chin to look at you. "Listen to me! If you stay here any longer we will die! We'll be dead, you hear me! We have to go back! PLEASE!" You pleaded.

You look conflictingly at your anime self before turning your face away. "If I let them destroy our Spiritual Core, we'll at least die happy. I'll die being surrounded by my happy family. That thought alone will bring my comfort." You said.

"But it's fake happiness! None of this is real, you know that! What you're feeling isn't real! You know what else is real?! Leo's suffering! Our sweet baby brother is suffering right now at the hands of Douma! We made a promise to him! Don't you remember?!"

You turned around to face your counterpart with tears in your eyes. This mysterious atmosphere is making your eyes look like crystals. Beautiful, yet so fragile. "Leo is...suffering? The promise! I promised him I'll find a way to turn him back into a human!"

"That's right! We made a promise to him that we'll turn him back into a human! We even communicate with him in our dreams! We may not remember, but it brings me comfort that we talk to him. That's why we need to wake up to save him. If we can save Rengoku right now, then our chances at saving Leo will look promising."

"What if we fail at saving Rengoku? Then waking up will all be for nothing. There's no guarantee that we will successfully pull it off."

"We don't know unless we try. That would be our biggest regret. The big 'what if'. If we don't save him, then at least we know we tried our absolute best. Sure we'll be broken on the inside, but we have our friends to pick up our pieces. You just have to know that Leo needs us and as the older sibling, it's our job to protect him."

Bethany came to your mind, making you cry harder. It's not fair that she was taken away from you so soon and from a young age. "I did a shit job from saving Bethany. I failed her. Leo deserves better."

"That's exactly why we need to save him. We may have failed Bethany...we're not going to fail Leo! If she had been alive, she would've felt the same about our brother. We can still keep our sister's memory alive. Hanabi's and Mei's too. Saving Leo is our way to redeem ourselves. Just please wake up so that we can begin the healing process."

You wiped your tears away and smiled at her. Your counterpart let out a gasp when you suddenly embraced her. You don't know if she or you're the subconscious one, but you finally got your answer. The answer to why you're so determined to save Leo. Sure he's your brother and you'll take a bullet for him. However, you felt like a monster for Bethany's death. Once Leo is safe from Douma, then you can finally be at peace for what happened with Bethany.

"Thank you." You beamed. "Now let's go wake up and save Rengoku from basketball head."

Your counterpart nodded and returned the embrace. The two of you begin to glow before merging into one. You open your eyes and see that you're back in the bathroom. You looked at the reflection in your mirror and saw you're animated again. Not just you, but the entire bathroom as well. You looked out the window and gasped, the outside is animated as well. You're back to wearing your uniform. Now that you're fully aware, your dream is now animated in Ufotable style.

The Spiritual Core! You can feel the invader getting close to it. You dashed out of the bathroom and headed towards the backyard. As you're running, your Mom begins to call out for you.

"(Y/N), sweetie, come back inside! It's getting dark outside! You'll be in danger!" Mom calls out.

It was hard to ignore her, but she's not your mother. Your real one is back in the real world, probably worry sick about you and Leo. It was nice to feel her warmth. Which makes it all so cruel for Enmu to do that to you. "(Y/N), I made (favorite food)! Let's eat!" She calls out again.

You kept on running towards the fence and jumped over it. When you landed on the other side, you saw a giant rift in the middle of the field. That's where your core is located and where the child is at. You quickly run inside the rift hoping you're not too late to save it. The first thing you noticed once you stepped inside is that the area looks to be a stage. More specifically is where you'll see it from a Broadway play. How you wish one day you'll be able to dance there.

As you're walking around, that's where you spot it. Your Spiritual Core. The Core looks so beautiful that you couldn't believe it's yours. Though your admiration for it halts when you see a boy aiming a stake at it.

"Stop!" You yelled out. The brown hair boy stood there frozen with the stake still in his hand. He slowly turned around with fear in his orange eyes. You noticed the boy looked no more than eight years old. He's the same age as Leo and has those big innocent eyes like him. "Please don't destroy my Core. I have to wake up to save you and the others." You explained.

The boy's body begins to tremble as his tears glisten in his eyes. He looks like he doesn't want to kill you, but he looks sorry that he will. "You seem nice, miss. I don't want to hurt you, but he promised me sweet dreams if I do as I'm told." The boy sobs.

"My name is (L/N) (Y/N). What's yours?"

"Kentaru Yuji...I want to see my mommy again."

"I understand Yuji san. I want to see my siblings again. But I have to move on and save my surviving one. My sisters aren't gone. As long as I'm alive, their memories are as well. I'm sure you can do the same thing for your mommy."

Yuji looks at you before slowly dropping the stake. He begins to sob uncontrollably as he cries out for his mother. "Wah! Mommy! I miss you so much!" Yuji wailed.

You bend your knees to his level and pull him in a hug. You soothe his back as he continues to sob. You have saved yourself and you closed your eyes in relief.

When you open them back up, you see yourself sitting on the chair in the Mugen Train. You're fully awake now and back to the plot.
