Eleanor was about to retort when she felt a punch to her kidney. She screamed in pain and doubled over, clutching her side.

"Don't hurt her!" Raven shouted. Valerie came up front, catching her breath. She had a wound on her shoulder and it was bleeding profusely.

"I won't." assured Valerie. "I don't have the heart to." She swallowed, wiping her lips. "Good night, Eleanor. Sleep well."

And then, she blacked out.
