Shinichi walk away from the room, leaving the two girls alone. He walked as he read the file that he got from the weapons room. Suddenly he felt someone hug his feet close, which to be his little brother

"Conan?" asked Shinichi surprised
"I'm glad you're okay" said Conan in low voice
"Oi oi... Did you get worried leaving me with no gadgets?"
"Well you could say that"

Shinichi just smile as he bends down to Conan's size. He gently hug him close to which surprised the boy

"You really are a grade schooler. I almost forgot that you're a high schooler" said Shinichi smirk
"Shut up..." said Conan unhappy
"After this is over, I will do whatever you want. I promise you"
"It's a promise!"
"Of course"

Both of them let go of each other and smile. Suddenly someone snatched Conan away from which to be Kogoro.

"Alright! You have explanation to do!" said Kogoro unhappy as he brings Conan to the dining room
"Eh Ojiisan?" said Conan surprised
"Oi oi Occhan" said Shinichi as he followed them

Kogoro quickly lecture Conan for being far too reckless. Conan trying his best to calm Kogoro down since he also helped him come to Vespania in proper way

"Still, you are very reckless! I know you love your brother inside out but what would happen if you died in exchange for that!" said Kogoro angrily

Conan eyes shot up and he looked down as he tightened his fists. Shinichi about to speak, but Conan already look up again

"Then Ojiisan, if you are in my place, will you really just stand there doing nothing?" asked Conan in low voice as he smiled to Kogoro

"Eh..." said Kogoro surprised

Kogoro eyes look surprised by the remark and his mouth can't let out any words. Shinichi also notice Conan change of behavior but then he quickly let out a smirk

"At least Ran-neechan can do Karate and take care of herself more than Shinichi-niichan did. He's a stupid, selfless and the most important is, he's too careless on his surrounding when he took a case too seriously. It's almost like seeing a raw egg almost falling from the table" said Conan as he sighs
"Oi oi oi! That's hurtful words you just let out!" said Shinichi unhappy with the remarks
"What? It's the truth after all"

Shinichi and Conan started bickering while Kogoro just sit there surprised by Conan's remark just now until he let out deep sigh

"I see... He's really Kudou Shinichi's little brother" thought Kogoro as he held his forehead
"Then Conan, how's the crime scene?" asked Shinichi as he stopped their little mouth fight
"Ah it's like this" said Conan as he goes to Shinichi whose now sitting beside Kogoro

Conan explain what he got from the crime scene and his suspicious of the broken tree branch. Shinichi quietly note everything he heard from Conan on his notebook as he smirked

"You solve it?" asked Conan from his thought
"You could say that... But... There seems something lacking" thought Shinichi
"Hmmm..."

Moments later, someone comes in, which to be Inspector Zenigata. Conan and Inspector Zenigata meet their eyes to which make the officer comes to him

"So you're the Kid Killer?" asked Inspector Zenigata to Conan
"Yes... We finally meet, Zenigata-keibu. Thank you so much for your cooperation" said Conan as he bow
"To be honest, I was surprised when Nakamori ask me a favor to help Mouri Kogoro to go into Vespania but at least I got your full cooperation. I never expect you can predict that Lupin III is targeting the royal crown even before he contacted me about targeting it"
"You did tell me that he happen to be in Vespania, so I just cut my prediction down through you never give me the detail information of his appearance"
"As expected. Now I understand why Nakamori-keibu talk so high about you. Sorry, I kind of forgot, but I hope we can cooperate again in the future"
"Of course, I will help you catch him and put him behind bars but if he goes to my jurisdiction"
"That's what I need"

Kogoro can't help to shock as what Shinichi deduce is correct. Conan really ask Inspector Zenigata for help. None of them know that two people who's hiding under the table overheard their conversation

"Oi that brat is the Kid Killer?!" said the beard man
"Well this is quite interesting" said the man with red blazer

The two men just stay under the table, try to overhear their conversation
