lighter but by the clearing of the clouds, lightning began circling overhead, the rays of power radiated from both the sky and her as she reached for her chest.

Gorou saw nothing but his death standing before him, readying a violent first and final blow that no one could ever withstand....

She quickly strikes.

.....well all except one.

In an equally destructive burst the entire heart of Inazuma City was engulfed in a light purple hue that expanded then slowly dissipated. The crowd that dared to even stick around and not run away in a panic were given back their sights and attempted to see the fate of the short man that dared challenge the Shogun.

The results before them made them gasp and scream in both astonishment and horror.

Gorou was still alive.

The Raiden Shogun was merely an inch away from him, and her sword.

The Musou no Hitotachi....was stopped in place by someone's bare hand gripping the blade itself, except the hand itself wasn't bare.

"You..." The Shogun, for once in all it's creation, showed pure surprise.

"After lighting, there's always thunder." Hadeki shoved the sword away along with it's wielder.

The Shogun was still processing who was standing before her, whipping her sword and rebuilding it's power as she did.

"How are you alive...?" She muttered.

"You think too highly of your abilities." Hadeki readied his own stance with a burst of electro burning the wooden floor beneath him. "You two! Leave!"

Gorou and Thoma had just finished taking down whatever shogunate were in the area who charged at them.

They almost dared to protest against Hadeki's order but seeing both him and the Shogun, locked in a silent standing of impending doom, it felt like two natural disasters were about to clash...the two men thought better than to interrupt them now.

Hadeki didn't want to leave any room for improv, he made the first move and blasted towards the Shogun, swiping his elbow at her. She easily evaded it with a sizzling whip and moved away.

With her destructive blade, she kept on deflecting every strike Hadeki could land on her with ease, but his scene alone would be absolutely absurd to anyone else. How could someone possibly be good enough, let alone live this long to match her speed and lay his hands on her with ease? She was the embodiment of lighting, or so the perfect replica.

Though the Shogun was silent this entire time, it was visible that she was being pushed back by his violent actions. His eyes were filled with nothing but unstoppable rage and it was projected through his actions. His attacks, his very movements were destroying the floor they stood on, the wood floorboards were reduced to nothing but splinters flying off with his explosive speed.

He was actually beginning to strike her, the fire and passion between his attacks was leaving damaging affects on her, she was becoming more confused by the second.

The Shogun finally regained her senses when she heard the sound of crumbling behind her, she looked to see the statue being plagued by slight cracks, their actions were becoming too much for the stone to handle. What was more eye catching that the visions inlaid within it were...growing brighter.

At the base of the long stairway, Gorou and Thoma were making their escape when they suddenly stopped at the approaching sounds ahead of them.

They were truly surprised to see a small group of the Resistance force running towards them, Gorou waved at them with a gleeful expression. It didn't last long when a strong strike of lightning flashed behind him. When they turned around to see it, they witnessed Hadeki flying at them with a trail of smoke wafting off his burning shirt.

"Captain!!" Gorou leaped and attempted to catch him and break his fall, he ended up tumbling into the soldiers at the base of the stairs.

Hadeki growled out the pain caused by the burning in his hip. Had he not predicted her move in time, he'd have been half the man he once was, quite literally.

"Ugh...Go, run, she's coming." Was all he could muster.

"No." Those words made his eyes shoot wide open as Hadeki looked up to see the soldiers rising to their feet and looking down at him.

"You taught us this much Captain. We're no longer running from her, if we want what is rightfully ours then we will have to cut through her."

The emphasis the soldier put in his last words made Hadeki look ahead and saw her, The Shogun stood atop the stairs with deadly waves of electro radiating off of her to no end, she breathed violence and was in need of expressing it.

"Change....It is always change, the root parasite to all kingdoms that fall... Enemies of eternity, you will fall by my hand personally, once again." She announced with a whip of her sword.

The soldiers immediately gripped their weapons and stood guard infront of Gorou and Hadeki. Thoma was told and forced to leave the area as quickly as he could, to regroup with the Kamisatos.

"I...acknowledge your courage..." Hadeki got up to a kneel. "....But even with a suicidal resolve like that...you are no match for her..."

The men roared their confidence and charged with all their might.

"...and I'm not letting you die here..." Hadeki's eyes began glowing in purple as he regained enough energy to leap forward....but somehow go beyond that.

As the Shogun was preparing to strike the men coming at her, she lifted her blade, her eyes followed the thin and sharp line it made infront of her face but just as she was about ready...she saw him again.

That damn variable that has been nothing but unpredictable...the prime embodiment of "difference", the bringer or change. The very sight of him was disorienting her at this point.

He lunged down at her with violent speed with a searing hot metal arm charged with near millions of volts, slamming it's palm onto her face, this action caused her to freeze in place.

"COME OUT HERE AND FACE ME YOURSELF!!!" He screamed.

The Shogun's eyes suddenly soften and then grew dark, the darkness then grew out and spread, the blackness that followed seemed to bend reality around Hadeki, he looked around himself as it happened only to feel the weight of the world...and his own body fade away.

Once the blackness released him, he found himself in a dark red dusty sky...from which he began falling down. The distance between him and the ground was vast which gave him enough time to react and land safely.

The sand met his feet, the impact of his landing making it fly up and graze his face. He looked around himself, the land was dead...old structures were crumbling or at the brink of their end. The sand that blew around only spelled stillness, nothing moved here, nothing happened here...only eternal silence unchanged.

"This place--"

"You know your way in and out here as much as I do, it's for the sake of our peace...."

He turned around to the voice.

"...That is what I told you, did I not?"

...

"And yet I promised to keep that peace..." Hadeki sadly moved closer to her.

"10 years....away from the land you once swore to defend."

Hadeki began building up a dark purple ball of electro in his hand.

Ei rose from her afloat, seated position.
