The next day Rae wakes up at 2pm, a little late but after a closing shift it's typical she opens her phone to see a couple notifications : a few texts from Ariana asking if she wanted anything from waffle house and since she didn't answer got her something anyway, a text from Elle asking if she got home safe, and a text from Rutger.

a smile crept on her face and she quickly typed out a reply

She slowly gets out of bed before stretching and heading into the kitchen to get the food Ari got her, she grabbed her chocolate chip waffles and flopped on the couch. Ariana came into the room seeing her roommate sat eating "someone looks a little tiered"

Rae laughs replying "you could say that again"

Ariana takes a seat next to her "so any plans today"

Rae turns to Ariana telling her "I'm free till 6:30"

Ari asks her friend "what you up to then surely you're not in work after a close shift "

Rae takes a bite out of her food before answering "I'm going to Rutgers"

Ariana turned to Rae grabbing the girl "wait so you're going over to his house"

Rae laughs "yeah"

Ari says oh my God while smirking at the girl, guess ill see you tomorrow morning. Rae laughs again telling her roommate to shut up before standing up to throw the the takeout container she'd just finished eating from into the trash.

Ariana tells Rae "well I'm going to work bye Rae Rae"

Raelynn says goodbye to her friend before heading to the bathroom to get a shower, she gets out the shower throwing her thick blonde hair into a towel and wrapping her body in one as well before heading back to her bedroom putting pajamas back on and blow drying her hair.

Opening her phone Rae decides to message her friends

Turning off her phone Rae checked the time 3:15, she stood up and grabbed her laptop to finish homework for the next week. After a few hours looking at the clock it was now 6pm, Raelynn closes her laptop over deciding to get ready. Getting up she heads over to her dresser pulling out a pair of leggings and a t-shirt throwing them on before brushing her hair and putting on light makeup.

Rutger

Rutger is sat in his living room practically biting his nails off in nerves looking at his phone, Mark walks in the room and sees his nervous reck of a roommate "woah dude I get Rae's coming over but you look terrified"

Rutger snaps his head over to his friend "Uh I don't even know man like she's cool don't wanna fuck up"

The older boy rolls his eyes "dude chill she's into you, just be how you always are and you'll be fine"

Rutger sighs and thanks his roommate who lets him know the other two boys he lives with aren't home he nods and heads to his room to put his phone on charge.

at 6:02 there's a light knock at the door, Rutger practically sprints out his room heading to the door opening it too see the blonde girl whos got him so nervous stood in front of him "hey, welcome"

Both

he steps to the side letting the girl in as she similes at him she asks "how's the head feeling after yesterday"

he groans and mumbles some self pity in response leading Rae to laugh at him he then adds " I was gonna as how the hangover is for you but you couldn't even drink on the job"

Raelynn laughs "yeah I'm kinda just tired but no hangover at least"

The pair sit on the couch mindlessly talking before the only roommate home comes in to tell them his headed out to see "someone" which they all know is code for a girl.

As the night goes on the two lay their

watching random movies, arguing about stupid things and crying with laughter

"you didn't need to give me a $125 tip yesterday that's insane" Raelynn commented

Rutger, still looking at the Tv screen replied "yeah but I wanted to"

"yeah but that's a lot of money" Rae added

Rutger answered with a smirk "don't worry about it, best service I ever had"

Rae rolled her eyes laying down next to the now sprawled out Rutger, who never looks away from the Tv, adds cockily "wonder if I could get some better service today"

A smirk spreads across Raelynn's face as million thoughts rush through her mind in mere seconds before she decides to bite the bullet and go for it turning to the boy grabbing his face and planting a kiss on his lips "that good enough service for you" she says with a smirk

This leaves him with a grin plastered on his face "definitely works for me might need one more just to double check though"

Rae laughs "oh yeah ?"

Without another word Rutger crashes his lips in hers once they finally break apart to breath he replies smirking "yeah".
