Wrote this not too long after Chapter 8. I lost motivation pretty quickly though. A while after i tried to redraw the chapter 3 image but i lost motivation on that too :[ Its only a sketch so im not gonna share it xddd

Supprisingly when i wrote this i actually planned out how future chapters would go (Including eresing people like Kat and the Red slimepup dragon and others and i actually had a thought out story) But i dont feel like writing kaiju paradise anymore and its kinda dead anyways so it doesnt matter much.

Another day, another test. More whispers from the scientists. I'm tired of this- sitting here as I wait for another one of those monsters with their pristine white coats and unreadable looks to come in just to test on me, use me for research.

My ears pick up on the sound of the metal door sliding open to the room next to me. They watch me through their one way window peering in, staring, I could feel it! Still, I can't see them. What cowards. "Hey, up, it's time."

(Y/n) fiddled with the old tools that lay on their desk, a simple wrench and screwdriver. It was a slow day today. Just one call into the gardens to fix the heating system, and it was only a singular switch on the wall that wasn't flipped! They slumped onto the hard surface as they waited for someone, anyone, to call them up so they had something to do.

The sound of the ringtone on my work phone floods my ears. I sat up excitedly, picking up the phone and answered, finally something interesting! I hope anyways. Before I could even speak my name though, I was rudely talked over by the familiar voice of my best friend from work. "Hey (Y/n)! I've been workin' on some plants. New discovery, no time to talk! Come over if you can!!" She had said before hanging up. God she was so weird!

"Not much happening anyways I guess." I set down the phone and sighed with a smile before pushing back on my chair and gently placing my tools gently back in their box. I then grabbed my keycard and headed off on my way to the gardens. To be honest, I was a little curious anyway
