Author POV :

Zhan was moving restlessly. He was having difficulties for breathing. "Ah~ Yibooo...." Zhan called out unconsciously. Yibo immediately held his hand. He was panicking alot. He was thinking what to do. He measured Zhan's temperature which is already very high.

"Oh Zhan ge!! You've a high fever.....what should i do!!?? What should I do??" Yibo panicking alot.

Zhan slightly open his eyes. "You have a brother...." He weakly uttered.

"Hah? Yeah." Yibo nonchalantly replied.

Zhan could feel his body getting hoter and hoter. He was feeling like burning but at the same time he was feeling cold. But he slightly sighed at Yibo's dumbness. "And he's a doctor." He said.

"Yeahhh.... " Yibo slowly nodding his head. He still didn't get what Zhan was trying to say. After some moment he realised. "YES!! My brother is a doctor. Wait Zhan ge am calling him right now."

Yibo immediately called Haikuan. After some rings Haikuan received.

"Wei!! Ge-ge-ge-ge-ge....."

"Calm down Yibo. What happen?"

"Zhan ge....he's having high fever what should i do??"

Haikuan sighed. "Relax. Do what am telling. Get lukewarm water and wipe his whole body. It'll lowered his temperature...."

"Lukewarm? But he's already so hot.....shouldn't we use cold water?"

"Idiot no!! It'll worsen his condition. Do what am telling. And after wipe his body make sure he wear light cloths. And the temperature of the room should be cool but not cold. It'll discrease his discomfortness. And give him the medicines i gave you. Just do these things for now if his condition still not get improved take him to the hospital."

Slowly nodding, Yibo said, "okh. I'll inform you..."

After the called end, Yibo brought a bowl of lukewarm water. He wants to wipe Zhan's body but hesitating to do as he have to took off Zhan's cloth.

Seeing Yibo's hesitation, Zhan slightly smiled and hold his hand trying to get up. Yibo immediately helped him to get up. Zhan sat on his back against the headboard. He slowly took off his shirt. Seeing Zhan's bare body, Yibo's heart broke into several pieces. The crimson cuts highlighted on his pale white skin. Yibo's eyes covering in water. He slowly and gently start wiping Zhan's body.

Every wounds of Zhan tearing Yibo's heart. Soon water start dripping from his black pearls.

"Yibo~~" Zhan called out weakly. But Yibo didn't answer rather he was doing his work and sobbing. Zhan cupped Yibo's cheek and murmured, "Bobo don't cry. Am fine."

Yibo couldn't control anymore. He rested his head on Zhan's shoulder and start crying uncontrollably. "Sorry Zhan ge. Am really really sorry. Because of me, you have been suffering." Yibo said between sobbing.

"Bo di, look at me." Zhan raised Yibo's face by his hand and cupping his cheek. "It's not your fault. So stop blaming yourself." Zhan wipe his tears. Yibo immediately hugged him. "I was so scared. I thought I lost you."

Zhan slowly patted his back. "Am here. Am right infront of you." He murmured. Yibo moved his head and attach his forehead with him. "I can't bear to lose you Zhan ge." Yibo whispered. He look at Zhan who was looking so beautiful. The moonlight falls on his pale face which was full of red bruises.

He came closer to Zhan's lip and sealed it with his. It wasn't a tongue war or any deep kiss. It was just lip touch full of emotions and care. Zhan closed his eyes immediately, not resisting it.

After a while, they parted their lips. They don't know what to say. Finally Yibo break the silence. "Let's go change your clothes. Ge told me that you should wear some light cloths." Zhan was trying to get up but couldn't as he got an injury in his ankle. So Yibo lift him in bridal style and took him to the closet.

Zhan's fever was gone after taking the medicines. But he was still so weak to walk. He wore an oversized sea green t-shirt with black loose pant. Yibo also changed his cloths into casual one as he was still in his formal dress.

It was still midnight. Yibo carried Zhan in downstairs and went to the kitchen. Zhan was so hungry. Yibo told him that he'll bring the food to his room but he disagreed. So he came to the kitchen with Zhan. He placed him to the counter. And start making porridge and orange juice.

Meanwhile Zhan was playing. Bothering Yibo. But Yibo didn't got annoyed rather he was smiling to see Zhan like this. After the porridge was cooked, he carried Zhan to the couch and bring the foods there. He feed him.

"Zhan ge....." Yibo suddenly called.

"Hmm??"

"Can you..... tell me.... who did this to you?..... Where you went? Who called you?"

Zhan slightly smiled and hold his hand. "Can we talk about it tomorrow?"

"But..." "please....." Zhan cutted Yibo and said with puppy eyes. Yibo sighed in defeat. He cupped Zhan's cheek. "Okh. As your wish." Zhan smiled widely. "Keep smiling like that. That's all i want." Yibo murmured. They were staring right at each other's eyes. Approaching each other. They were about to kiss when suddenly Yibo's phone buzzed. The sudden sound startled them and they got distanced.

Yibo look at the caller, it was Haikuan. He received the video call. But there wasn't Haikuan instead it was Carman who looks pale because of crying. "Mom!?" Yibo exclaimed with surprise.

"Where is Zhan? How is he? Is he ok now? Is his fever down? Did he ate anything?" Carman attacked Yibo with hundreds of questions. So Zhan took the phone from Yibo. "Mommm. Relax. Am fine. Your Zhan is not so weak. This is just a mere feve...." Before Zhan could complete, he sneezed. Yibo chuckled and gave him a tissue. Zhan wiped his nose and smiled embarrassedly. "Am ok. It was just....."

"Zhann, baby please be ok. Mom was so scared." Carman said with teary eyes. "Aww mom please don't cry." Zhan also said with teary eyes. "Now mom stop. You're making Zhan ge cry." Yibo interrupted.

"Yeah no more crying. Zhan you go and rest. You need rest. We'll  come to tomorrow to meet you." Carman said and bid goodbye to them then handed the phone to Haikuan.

"Hey Zhan, how're you now?" Haikuan asked. "Umm am fine now...." Zhan replied with a smile. "Yes, Ge. The fever has gone after taking the medicines. But Zhan ge is still feeling weakness." Yibo said with worry. After quiet for a sec, Haikuan said, "Don't worry. I think he's fine but yeah Yibo we have get a full check up tomorrow." Yibo nodded then bid goodbye to Haikuan and hangup the call.

"Let's go. You need to rest." Saying it Yibo lift Zhan and carry him to his bedroom. After reaching to the bedroom, Yibo laid him to the bed and put the blanket on. "Okh Zhan ge, sleep. And just call me if you need anything."

Yibo was about to go when Zhan held his arm. "Stay with me. I don't want to be alone." Zhan said with doe eyes. Yibo bite his lower lips as he was having a hard time to control himself. "Ah damn!! Zhan ge stop looking so adorable." Yibo thought. He pushed all his thoughts and went to sleep beside Zhan. He wrapped his arms around Zhan and gave a kiss on his forehead. Soon they fell asleep into each other's arms.

Morning came. Everyone was gathered in their house. Li Qin, Jingyu, Weizhou, Lusi, Yixuan, Sung-joo, Lay, Yibo's parents, Feng Mian, Xing Chen and Xue Yang.

Zhan was sitting in the couch. Carman was beside him. Caressing his hand. Everyone was asking him about his health. "Zhan, what actually happened last night? How did you end there?" Jingyu asked.

Zhan became quiet. More likely he was thinking something. "I....umm....i suddenly remembered that i left an important file in the office so i...went back there but.....someone kidnapped me.... from the parking lot. Before....i could do anything they knock me out....."

Everyone slowly nodding but Yibo looks deep in his thoughts so Xue Yang went towards him. And called him out, "Hey Yibo." Yibo came back from his thoughts and looks at Xue Yang. "What happen to you? What are you thinking?" Xue Yang whispered asked. Yibo nodded in negative and said, "Nothing."

After staying for a long time, everyone start leaving the house as Zhan have to go the hospital. They left for the hospital after everyone leave. Reaching at the hospital, Haikuan was waiting for them there. Beside him was Zhoucheng who seems red like a tomato.

Yibo stop the car infront of them and went to the other side to help Zhan. Haikuan and Zhoucheng also went towards them. They all greeted each other. Zhoucheng asked Zhan about his condition. But in all, he seems different from last night. He was talking with Yibo normally. Not that aggressively. Which made Zhan wondering.

Haikuan went inside and Zhoucheng followed him. Zhan and Yibo was slowly walking behind them. "Hey, Yibo..." Zhan whispered. "Hmm?" Yibo looks at Zhan. "Don't you think Zhoucheng is behaving weird? Why he's so nice to you?" Zhan asked with suspicion. Yibo looks at his front. His brother and brother-in-law was talking with each other. He slightly smiled. "Maybe he's ready to become my brother-in-law...." Yibo whispered. "Haaa??" Zhan looks at Yibo surprisely.

Zhan got a full body check up. And thankfully he doesn't have any serious injuries. Only the injury in his ankle is kinda serious so Haikuan and the other doctors forbid him to walk for a week. Zhan disagreed but Yibo gladly agreed. Now he needs a proper rest to recover quickly.

They all were standing at the entrance of the hospital. Zhan and Yibo was leaving so Zhan offered a ride to Zhoucheng but he didn't accept saying he still have some work. So Yibo and Zhan left the hospital in their car.

Arriving at the building, Yibo lift Zhan and carry him to their flat. Everyone around them was staring at them which made Zhan shy. And Yibo was somehow enjoying it. Yibo open the door and went straightly to his room.

"Yibo, why you're taking me to your room?"

"Stay in here. The whole house is yours so it doesn't matter which room you stay." Yibo huskily said while putting Zhan in the bed. Zhan blushed at his words. Suddenly they heard the sound of the door bell. "Zhan ge, stay here I'll go check it out." Zhan nodded.

Yibo went downstairs and saw in the doorbell camera that Su Yue, Xing Chen and Xue Yang was outside. He opened the door and welcomed them inside.

"Why you guys are here?" He asked.

"It's actually....."

"I actually wanna to see Xiao Zhan." Su Yue cutted Xue Yang.

"Where is he?" Su Yue asked.

"He's upstairs. Resting." Yibo replied. But he was so damn confused. Su Yue came to see Xiao Zhan!???

He took Su Yue upstairs. Xue Yang was sitting on the couch while Xing Chen went to the kitchen to grab some food.

Yibo and Su Yue went inside of the room. Seeing her, Zhan was kinda surprised or.....shocked. But he slightly smirked. Su Yue went towards him and sat beside. She asked him about his condition and also what doctors said. She sounds so sweet and caring which confused Yibo alot. They start talking about random stuffs.

"Bobo, can you make coffee? I really wanna have it." Zhan suddenly said. Yibo nodded. "And also make one for Su Yue....." Looking towards her, Zhan added, "You haven't drink coffee made by him, right?" Su Yue looked at Yibo dumbfoundedly. "Yibo, when.....you never ever even entered in kitchen! How you make coffee?" Su Yue asked.

"What? Coffee!? Bobo made porridge for me last night. And you are talking about coffee!" Zhan smilingly said. Yibo was smilingly nodding in his words. "You learned cooking?" Su Yue looks annoyed and at same time couldn't believing what she's hearing. "Yup! I am learning cooking for Zhan ge. But still am not as good as him. Zhan ge is the best." Yibo proudly said while Zhan become shy at his words.

Yibo left the room and went downstairs where Xue Yang and Xing Chen looks like they are fighting. Yibo sighed but there's one thing he notice that Xing Chen was slightly blushing while Xue Yang was smirking proudly. Don't know how but gradually their behaviour is changing towards each other. They argued but they don't seem annoyed rather they looks like enjoying it. "Wtf! Is going on? At first Ge and Zhoucheng. And now Yang and Xiao Xing!?? When will be my turn!!?" Yibo mumbled while entering the kitchen.

Meanwhile in the bedroom.....

The moment Yibo left the room, both facial expression changed. "Quite good at acting." Su Yue said. Zhan smirk. "Of course. It's a basic talent of a lawyer."

"Then why haven't you told Yibo yet?" Zhan didn't answer. Su Yue leaned towards him and whispered, "Afraid? He won't believe you?" She was giving wick smiles. Zhan looked at her and smirked. "Afraid? And what? He won't believe ME?? My one word and he'll buried you alive right here." Zhan whispered in dark voice.
