mason was off shooting his new movie, "boys of summer". it's been almost 3 months, he's coming home soon and i miss him like crazy. i was at my desk doing my makeup and watching gilmore girls when i heard my phone start buzzing.

my mood immediately boosted and a smile crossed my face when i saw his name pop up on my screen. i quickly answered.

a big smile was on his face and he was in a car, probably an uber.

"hey baby, what are you doing?" he smiles at me, admiring me while i was putting blush on. "nothing i'm bored so i'm doing my makeup, i miss you." i grin at him, being kinda embarrassed about how easily he can boost my mood just by talking to him.

"you look so pretty. i miss you more than you know." my heart jumps at the compliment, cheeks turning red. he laughs at the blush that spread across my face. "when are you coming home? isn't filming almost over?" i miss my boyfriend more than ever.

he looks infront of him and smiles, making me confused. i furrow my brows, "who are you with?" he looks at me, seeming hesitant. "just my friends honey, we're going to get food i'll call you later okay? i love you." before i can even get a word out he hangs up the phone.

i sit there frozen for a second, visibly confused. "who is he with? is he with another girl? has he found someone else?" thoughts clouded my mind, making my heart drop. i checked his life360 and his location was off.

i fought back the urge to cry as i paused gilmore girls and went downstairs, trying to find something to eat. i debated on texting him and asking him what the hell is going on, but i decided not to.

i sat at the table watching tiktok on my phone, of course my whole for you page was edits of mason and aaron taylor johnson. the microwave beeped and i got my food out and started eating, until i heard the doorbell ring.

i wasn't expecting anyone so i was a little confused, my parents were working and my friends were busy.

i opened the door to see mason standing there with flowers with a big smile plastered across his face.

"OH MY GOD!!" i squealed, dropping my phone on the floor and dragging him inside my house. he set the flowers down and picked me up, wrapping his arms around me. i wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist, hugging him as tight as i could without cutting off his airway.

"i missed you so much sweetheart." he says into my hair, rubbing my back. happy tears roll down my cheeks as i kiss his shoulder, "i missed you too mase. i didn't think you were ever coming home it's been too long."

he sets me down, still having his arms wrapped around me. "i'd never be able to leave you any longer. two months was way too long, filming ended early and i needed to come see you y/n/n." i smile and lean up, kissing him.

he smiles into the kiss and pushes me towards the couch, laying me down and getting on top of me. my hands go to his hair and his go to my waist, rubbing my bare skin. i pull away, breathing heavy.

we sit up, him pulling me closer to lay my head on his lap so he could play with my hair. for whatever reason, he's always loved doing that. "mase when did you even have time to plan this?" i mumble, being almost too relaxed from his hands running through my hair. i hear him laugh at my tired tone, "miguel helped me, he was tired of me calling him all the time and complaining about how much i missed you."

"tell him i said thank you for helping me get my man back." i smile, turning around to face him. he chuckles, leaning down and placing a kiss on my forehead.

"do you wanna go watch gilmore girls? i need to know if rory and jess actually get together." i immediately sit up, "you know me so well." i kiss his cheek, standing up and dragging him to my room.

"well yeah honey i'd be a shitty boyfriend if i didn't."

we get to my room, closing my door and going to lay down on my bed. he flops on my bed and grabs my waist, pulling me down with him.

wrapping his arms around me, he kisses my head and grabs my remote, unpausing my tv. he grabs my cheek and makes me look at him.

"i'm so glad i'm back with you baby, i've never missed anyone so much in my life. there's no one else i'd wanna binge gilmore girls with, i love you so much."

i turn around to face him, pecking his lips and burying my face into his neck. i didn't realize how much i missed his touch until now.

"i love you more."
