I woke up the next morning cuddled up next to Scaramouche, vaguely remembering what happened last night. I look at his sleeping face, his whole face was relaxed—it was one of the only times you could tell he was relaxed. Soon enough both of our alarms went off, he held me closer to him as he started groaning and trying to find his phone to turn his alarm off. After a few tries he was finally able to find it and turn his alarm off, I quietly try and turn mine off as well; even if he kept trying to push me closer to him.

"Scara...wake up it's 6:00 we gotta get ready" his eyes open slightly looking at me while groaning.

"Seriously? Already?" His voice sounded better than it did yesterday which was good, but there was a still a nice rasp in his voice from waking up.

"Mhm, now come on get up sleepyhead" I find my way out of his arms sitting up stretching, Apollo jumps up right on top of him constantly meowing at him like another alarm. All I could do was laugh

"Okay okay I get it!" He sits up pushing Apollo off of him. Stretching and rubbing his eyes to try and wake himself up. Then leaving the room to go to the restroom, so I took that time to get my uniform on. The same old boring uniform as always, I put on my stockings and then decide to put leg warmers on over them to try and keep my legs warm.

After a few minutes he comes back in so I took that as my time to use the restroom and brush my teeth. Coming back out I see a very sleepy Ei walking up to me.

"How did you sleep last night Y/n? I didn't see Kunikuzushi in his room last night, I suppose he was with you?" I knew where this was gonna go....

"Good morning! I slept well, yeah Scaramouche slept in my room with me. After what happened he thought I could you the company. We didn't do anything if you were concerned!" I mean we technically didn't do that. Just kissing lolz

"I had a slight feeling but how is he feeling? Worse?"

"Well he hasn't complained about his head aching or anything, his voice seems less sore than it sounded yesterday. I think he's starting to feel better!"

"Alright Y/n, now you two get to school. Be safe" she says walking downstairs. Right as she did Scaramouche came out of my room all ready, he finally decided to wear his glasses to school today. After I've been begging him to after the first time he wore them!

"You finally listened!" He walks over to me handing me my phone and shoes. I guess he really wanted to leave

"Yeah yeah, you better not make a big deal about it today. Or I'll throw them away." I bend down to put my shoes on, then face him giving him a short simple smile.

"I won't I promise! Now come on it's 6:29" we both make our ways downstairs to grab our jackets, he didn't let me grab my scarf at first. It was either I don't take it to school, or I give it to him for the whole day...I guess we was serious last night.

So I just decided not to wear it today. Grabbing our bags we make our way out the door to the car, it felt even colder than last night, just with less snow.

As we got to the school, it was our usual time to part ways. He kisses me on the forehead telling me to text him when I make it to my home room, then left to his class. As I make my way to my home room I see a face I never wanted to see again. Ayaka. Sitting a few seats behind my desk. Her head poking up when she saw me walking to her desk, I tried to make it seem as I didn't know who she was. All I could hear were whispers coming from her. "Hey Y/n." "Y/n can we talk?" "Y/n?" But all I did was ignore her.

Then remembering she's in half my classes. Why did she have to come back....why did she even leave?

How has he already noticed?? Oh this was going to be a damn day. The bell for first period rang, I grabbed my bag hearing Ayaka trying to run up to me. Tapping me on the shoulder, but I just didn't acknowledge it. Acting like I had earbuds in. I'm not gonna talk to her.

The day was slow and boring. I went up to Ajax after history. As he was waiting at my locker per usual.

"Glad to see you back Ajax, where's Signora?" I say opening my locker to grab my books

"Shes got drama class in 512" I forgot she was good at that stuff

"But anyways, how have you been today Y/n? With Ayaka and stuff?" I slammed my locker shut, rolling my eyes

"Archons let me tell you about it! The whole time in home room she kept calling out for me! Then tapped my shoulder while I was leaving! The whole time in history she just was staring at me! Like her and that damn Mona bitch are the same two people"

"Well it's time to suffer even more. She's in our math class remember?"

"Your kidding me? I'm tired of her!" As we got closer to the door we see Ayaka waiting outside.

"I say we run the opposite direction before she can notice us? What room is Scaramouche in? Maybe we can sneak in there with him" he whispers to me making sure she couldn't hear us

"He's in 419 photography. He loves that class so he won't skip and the teachers kinda old and wouldn't let us in. Just walk right past her okay? Don't acknowledge her at all." We both walk over talking to each other like it was a normal day. As we got to the door she stood infront of the door. Stopping the both of us.

"Can you guys please just let me talk to you?" She shut the door behind her as the bell rang. She wasn't going to let us out of this.

"What do you even have to say? 'I'm sorry?' If so I've heard it enough times so save it." I was so tired of her.

"Please Y/n! I was your best friend! Everyone makes mistakes right??"

"Friends don't make those mistakes though Ayaka. You tell her mother about where she was? When you know damn well how bad her mother is. That's not a good friend Ayaka." Ajax blurts in, his tone was cold and serious. Guess that's what happens when you hang out with Scaramouche for too long

"Look I know it was stupid! But please forgive me! I miss you both so much! Y/n please I miss you.." she faces her whole body to me.

"I'm not accepting any apology from you Ayaka. You did this to yourself. You could have just told me from the start why you were so worried about me being around Scaramouche. But you didn't. Now your trying to come back to us? Go hang out with your new best friend Mona. Just leave us alone." I walk away from her, with Ajax following me. Leaving her there speechless almost, then breaking down crying.

She deserved that. For all the times I cried over her.
