[Flash Back to when you confessed]
"I like you Rui. I..Uh its alright if you don't like me back..i'll just..-"

"Y/N..I like you too..ever since the day i saw you, I vowed to protect you at all costs, I promise I'll always find time for you, to be with you through everything, to never hurt or bring any harm to you. I love you Y/N."

Since then, things seem to have changed, it was always happening..

"Rui! You wanna hang out after school??"

"Sorry my love, I'll be busy with preparing for the next Wonderland x Showtime performance..maybe next time.?"

day,
"Hey!! You wanna hang out at my place??"

"Tomorrow Y/n, I promise this time, I've just been really busy"

"I'm busy." he responded, he didn't even bother to look at you this time.

"...Uhm, what about today?"

"..." he didn't respond.

You sighed as you clenched your fists and walked out the room, slamming the door as you left.

This is it. The day you've finally had enough of putting up with him. You are going to confront him.

"Rui." you spoke as you stood behind him, placing your hand on your hip.

He was, for some reason, sitting in an empty classroom, working on a small piece of metal.

"I'm busy Y/N, How many times do i have to explain this to you?." he replied, glaring at you coldly.

"I'm not here for that and i'm just going to get straight to the point. You haven't kept ANY your promises. You lied Rui." you said.

"...Oh? You're the one go talk? You don't have all these responsibilities on your shoulders and all these people depending on you. Cut me some slack, would ya'?" He scoffed while rolling his eyes.

"Yeah i understand you're stressed out and have a lot of work to do but the least you could do is tell me with the slightest bit of respect?" you said, your hand still placed on your hip.

"You're acting as if I've never treated you with respect in my life y/n. Like honestly, you are pissing me off. Just, fuck off." he said, his voice level raising.

"Be real for a minute. Snap out of your stupid imaginary world of yours and think about what you're saying" you replied, also raising your voice.

He stood up and turned to you, still holding the piece of metal, and threw it at you. It all happened so fast, he didn't even realize what he did till a few seconds passed.

"Y-Y/N?" He ran over to you, pure shock on his face. "I DIDN'T MEAN TO I- H-HEY HEY STAY AWAKE PLEASE..Y/N.."

That was the last thing you heard before you were fully unconscious.

You woke up in a hospital, you looked around, observing your surroundings. You saw your parents talking to some doctors outside the door, and Rui sitting beside you, holding your hand, but you guess he hasn't realized you've woken up yet and honestly, you didn't want him to realize, you couldn't be bothered to argue with him right now but you couldn't just forget about this.

Your mom turned to look at you and saw that you were awake and ran over to you.
"Sweetheart..! Are you feeling okay??" she asked.

Rui looked up and immediately let go of your hand, afraid of hurting you again.

"Yeah mom..I'm fine.!" you softly smiled.

"Rui told us what happened between you two, and after you allowed to leave the hospital we have to talk to you about something important." your mom said.

'This seems like something serious..' you thought to yourself.

"Does he-" you started but were cut off, "No. He isn't apart of this." your dad said.

"Thats not what-" you were cut off again, "Let's go tell a doctor that she's awake." your mom said, your dad nodded and they both left you and him in the room.

It was insanely silent at first, but then he said, "I'm sorry Y/n..for everything. I truly didn't mean anything I said..i promise."

Your eyes widened at hearing those words, "i promise".. You're never trusting those words again.

"Rui, I cant trust you like that anymore..you've lost my trust." you said while looking out the window.

He felt his heart shatter, but understood why you felt like this. "I'm sorry Y/n, i really am. I understand that you don't trust me anymore but-"

"We're back!" your mom said as she and your father walked back into the room. You smiled back at them and Rui looked towards the ground, feeling shameful.

A few days later you were let out of the hospital. Most things went back to normal, but there was one specific thing that would change it all..

"Y/n, you remember how we told you when you were in the hospital that we had something to talk to you about??" your mom asked, and you nodded in response.

"Well, we've decided that it's best for you to move schools." Your dad spoke.

You felt completely shocked. Moving schools? What about your friends? What about Rui? Will you be able to fit in? What if they all treat you like an outcast?

You had so many questions but your thoughts were interrupted by your mom, "Sweetie, We are moving you to Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy. We think it would be better for you..and your friends, Saki and Kohane go there!"

"Oh..uhm. I..Alright, I don't really have a choice, do i?" you started, "When do i start?" you asked.

"Next Week. So tomorrow you can say bye to your friends at Kamiyama." your dad said.

The next day..
"HEY Y/N!" Mizuki cheered. Well thank god they decided to come to school today..
"Hi Mizu..uhm.."

"Whats up?" they asked.

"Uhh..so basically, i have to move schools.." you mumbled.

"..What? You're just joking around right??" they asked, guessing by the sad expression on your face, you were being dead serious.

"...I'll miss you y/n.." Mizuki said as they hugged you. "You won't be moving right?" they asked.

"I dont think so..!" you said as you hugged them back.

"Alright, I'll visit you after your first day of school then!" they smiled.

"That would be great! Also, do you mind telling everyone else for me? I don't think i'll be able to face them..especially Rui.." you said, mumbling the last part.

"You got it!" they smiled. You smiled back.

A few days later.. (at Miyamasuzaka)
"Y/N!!" Mizuki cheered. "I missed you!"

"Mizuu! I didn't think you'd be this early!"

"Hey! Is that supposed to mean something?!" they asked while smiling. You giggled and said, "No! No! Not like that." in a very sarcastic tone.

"Something is telling me that's sarcasm.." Mizuki said causing you to burst out laughing.

"HEY!" Mizuki shouted as you ran off, them chasing you.

At your house..
"How'd today go for you?" Mizuki asked, sitting on your bed.

"It was okay actually..I made friends today!" you smiled, "It's not as bad as i thought it would be!"

"That's amazing!" Mizuki replied, "Also, check your messages bro."

"Oh shoot..thats what i forgot about.." you said causing Mizuki to sigh while facepalming.

You pulled your phone out your pocket, 6 new messages? (Your face was like "😦")

'Tsukasa, Nene, An, Toya, Akito anddd..oh.' you thought to yourself. You responded to all their messages except for one persons', Rui. You felt it was better to just..talk to him in person, yet you weren't ready just yet, but no matter how long it will take for you to feel comfortable enough, he will be willing to wait for you.
