"You know we should do something now that you're here," Jack requested. I raised my brow and couldn't help but chuckle.

"Yeah, sure. But what?" I nodded and bit the inside of my bottom lip, looking at Jack. He began to think as he paced across the room a couple of times.

"I don't know. Take a walk?" He requested once again, shrugging his shoulders. I hummed and stood up from one of the seats near the kitchen island, grabbing my jacket. "Oh, we're going now?" His eyes widened.

"Isn't that you want?" I teased him and he playfully rolled his eyes, getting ready in a few seconds once he gave me a small slap on my butt cheek. I gasped a bit and glanced at him in surprise.

"Ok, let's go." He announced with a sneaky smirk, wrapping his arm around my waist as we were beside each other, hips-to-hips. I couldn't help but giggle as we exited the building and began walking.

Through from ten AM to eleven AM, we took a nice very long walk, taking our time to glimpse at the beautiful view of New Jersey and the fresh air. Jack and I had discussed things that we brought ourselves into small conversations.

I didn't know why but I felt like Jack and I were being watched all of a sudden. I informed him about it and we eventually looked for some time but didn't find anything.

I felt uncomfortable and uneasy about the situation, but Jack knew and tried comforting me as he kept me safe and protected. We basically had our hands around each other and as if we didn't want to let go.

On the other side, Jack had his other arm around my neck, in which I comfortably laid my head on his shoulder and we then shared a passionate kiss for a while when we took a small break from walking.

There weren't any people crossing by us in the streets, we were alone and I felt thankful for it. Jack hasn't gotten his hands off of me the whole walk we took for an hour and I wasn't complaining about it.

This is exactly what I wanted from him and for both of us. And it was even better than I ever imagined-before travelling to New Jersey.

Meanwhile, I slowly narrowed my eyes at Jack and glanced at his cute facial features and every single expression forming as he watched out the crosswalks.

I bit the inside of my bottom lip and cheekily smiled, reminding myself of how we first saw each other on the boards of a hockey game in Toronto and first talked on a beach in New Jersey.

Jack then caught me staring and let out a cute chuckle. He gently rubbed the side of his cheek against my temple and the smile on my lips widened.

"Hate to tell you, babe, but I have- at least -the next four days staying with you before going back to Toronto." I finally told him and he was playing with my brown hair, clearly being distracted.

"Don't worry. We'll do something before you go." I'm pretty sure he said it in a teasingly tone, giving me a gentle, sweet kiss on my left cheek.

I mumbled back an 'ok' as we continued walking for another less than fifteen minutes before going back to his place and resting for a bit.

I decided to shower and do my daily routine while Jack was eating his leftover breakfast that he didn't get to finish, distracting himself as he watched some hockey news on the TV.

Into the first two minutes of showering myself, Jack decided to hop in and he scared me. And there's probably no explanation for what happened after.
