Madeleine couldn't sleep after all. She hasn't gotten out of her bed all Saturday, and all emotions of depression and anxiety came through her bloody warm veins, the more she spent her time on the bed.

But luckily, she knew she had to get up to wake up her son for his morning practice. Her sister also came for help and instead, took her nephew to his hockey practice tournament.

To look after Madeleine was now her sister's fiancΓ© and son's job to care for Madeleine. After all, she needed someone to talk to and a kid to hug when she was already missing her own son at his hockey practice.

Madeleine's brother-in-law, Zack, nearly dragged her out of her bed when he threatened to cut all of her favourite toys that her son gave her. Madeleine just didn't know why her sister even decided to marry her fiancΓ© in July.

But it was an obvious joke. She knew. Zack knew. And they played it along by the time, Madeleine's nephew, appeared and out of nowhere hugged his only aunt.

On the other side, Madeleine's brother hasn't shown up a few weeks and she was getting worried. Even when he had his girlfriend and them living together in southern Toronto. Madeleine wanted to see him as much as possible, but she clearly knew he had other plans and couldn't have time for visiting the family.

As Madeleine finished organizing her son's toys in his bedroom, her brother-in-law called for her. Madeleine headed downstairs and noticed the familiar figures right at the kitchen table.

"Oh my god!" Madeleine gasped and instantly ran to her youngest brother, Nathan, with wide-open arms until the brother completed the spot and a huge grin on her face that's been possible to find since the dramatic breakout last night.

The two pulled away as soon as Nathan's girlfriend came to hug Madeleine. "Ugh, I missed you so much, Adele," Alicia smiled and pulled away from Madeleine to give her a small kiss on the cheek.

"What are you guys doing here? I thought you both had plans." Madeleine asked the young couple and they chuckled, carelessly shrugging their shoulders. "Wait, does Beatrice know that you're here?"

Nathan and Alicia nodded. "Yep. We actually bumped into her at Mason's school when she just went to go pick him up," Alicia answered.

Madeleine hummed, loading up the words inside of her mind before she even recalled what the two were doing at her son's school. She furrowed her brows at the young couple.

"What were you both doing at Mason's school?" She finally asked the question and the two seemed a little uneasy about it. Madeleine, now, had her small expectations a bit higher than they should've been. She was actually curious. Neither or not, she wanted to know why the two were there.

Madeleine looked over her shoulder and saw the small confused look on her brother-in-law's face. She looked back to her brother and his girlfriend, waiting for the answer. "Guys, what is it?"

Nathan sighed as he swiftly apologized to his sister with his eyes filled with plenty of different emotions going through at the same time. "We saw Brendan get into a fight with Mason's teacher."
