You decide to bring Moon back to the daycare, Because that's probably a place of comfort. Like a home. And, It's a bit more.. Private.

The second you got through the doors, Moon let go of your hand.
He stood next to the security desk.
Staring down at the contents laying on top of it.

"Moon-" He turned around. His red eyes, Being the only thing glowing in the room. He crouched down to more of a 'Crawl' position.

"Starlight... Do you think I'm... Dangerous?"
"What? No! No! Of course- I don't-"
He slowly inched closer. When he was about.. A foot, Away from from you, He started to stand. His face was now, Right above yours.

"Am I.. A monster?" He grumbled, Head tilting, The bell on his hat jingling. "Well- N-!"

You bumped into the light switch.

"OH! SUNSHINE! YOU'RE BACK!"
"Sunny, It's great to see you too, But- How is Moon?"
"Hm?" He slightly tilted his head.

"Like- How is he feeling?"

He stared off a bit, Like he was in deep thought.
"Huh. That's a good question.

That's a really good question.

That's- where'd he go?" Every second, His voice filled with more concern.

"What- What do you mean?"
"I don't know.. I can't sense him.."
"Isn't that normal sometimes..?" Some hope filled your voice.

"Well- Yes? But.. No? We could be 'Sleeping' when the other is in control.. But.. I should be able to sense him right after transferring..."
Sun stared off again. He was trying to communicate.

"Anything..?"
"No.. Not at all.. This happened once before.. So a mechanic turned the lights off.. and.. When I came back, The mechanic- was- Well.."
"Dead?"
"No... Missing... he just- Disappeared."

"Should.. we turn the lights off..?"
"Normally id say it isn't safe.. But- He wouldn't hurt you. So- Yeah. Definitely."

You took in a deep breath. Flipping the lights off.
Moon appeared. Stumbling a bit backwards. Clutching at his head. His eyes.. seemed.. darker. But yet.. brighter then normal.

"Y/n.. Turn. The lights. ON." He growled out. Giving himself a tight hug.

You were frozen. Your body couldn't move. You felt.. Paralyzed.
"TURN THE DAMN LIGHTS ON."
You managed to suck up enough strength to flip the switch.

"..What? Y/n? Why so soon?"
"I.. Moon.. He's- Not Okay.."
Sun went up to you, Giving a reassuring hug.
"He should be fine.. Just- Give him a few days."
"Do.. You know what happened Sun?"
"No. But I'll try to figure it out!"

You were about to pull away from the hug, But Sunny tightened his grip. Pulling you up, So he's carrying you.

"I sure hope you don't think of us any less Y/n..!"
"Just because of this? No! Of course not. But.. I will need to leave soon.."
"Aww! Y/n! Could you stay tomorrow? It'll be Sunday! We could have SO much fun together!"

"I dunno... I don't think I'm allowed.."
"You wouldn't get in any trouble! The higher-ups take the day off on Sunday! And nobody ever comes to the plex! Besides.. the daycare is closed on Sundays!"

"..Alriiggghhhttt... But I gotta report back to Maddie.. So I'll be right back."
"REALLY?! HOORAY!"
"Okay. Stay RIGHT here. I'll be back in a jiffy!"
