When you came back the following day, you started to creep backstage, right before the next scheduled performance. Hearing Maddie's voice you pick up your pace in order to be considered 'early' for this shift.

"-As you all should know, there is a new mechanic. I understand some humans are uhm... different, so- maybe chill out whenever talking to them, until they get more used to you.." Maddie was.. lecturing, them? Sounded like it. Maybe it was a simple PSA or something.

"Yeah-yeah, you don't need to worry about that, I only talk to people on my level.." You hear a feminine voice hum, and you didn't even need to look, to know this. . . robot, was grinning.

Another female voice speaks out, "Cocky much?" A small giggle followed.

... A beat of silence carried the room.
"I hope you realize this newcomer is one the other side of the wall..?" The voice from earlier retorts, prompting you to slowly walk out to where the group is, you don't look shy while revealing yourself, you just look real awkward, and like... you didn't know where to put your hands.

This time, instead of being shut off, the animatronics are acting extremally humanoid, whilst staring at you like you just stole toenail clippings from a baby.

The gator then pulls down his shades and examines you with a judgmental look, in response Freddy elbows him as if saying to 'behave'.
"Ahem? Guys!" Maddie gestured the robots attention back to her.

"-This is Y/n, Y/n this is the crew~" Maddie then turned towards 'the crew' and nudges her head towards me, with angered expression, trying to make the animatronics greet you.

Monty flashes a "peace" sign with a very toothy smile, Chica gives a joyful wave, Roxy examines her nails ignoring your presence, Freddy looking at all of them, Stares at you for a second before clearing his throat. "Nice to meet you Mx. Y/n. I look forward to..? Working with you..?"

Some weird form of formal 'kindness'.

Looking out at the audience of 'animatronics, Maddie put her hands on her hips. "Okay.. anyways, since you were already scanned, you can all chill here for a bit, I gotta talk to Y/n.."
'Already getting a lecture? Damn, and I thought I wouldn't have to worry once I moved out."

Reluctantly sighing in retaliation, Maddie takes you over to a corner of the room. "Just a quick tip, act confident. Socially confident- that is.-" "-less tension you show, Less tension they feel, makes conversions smoother. Before you say, 'They're just robots,' spend the rest of the day with me. Ill show you how alive these guys actually are."

'I wasn't gonna say that- But alright. I'll just take that as.. be charismatic.'

During the performance, you sat backstage drinking coffee and reading files about this place.

How did you get these files? You asked, and a few of you coworkers gave you files from the past, classified files from the past. What a little flirting gets ya, am I right?

Yeah. You were able to get 8 files of classified information by long term employees. It's not bad, it's-!

'Oh?'

In the history of Fazbear entertainments, These facilities have been made for the enjoyment of kids, But after one day in 19..

"Uhm.. Hello?" A small voice comes from behind, and you flinched, sitting up quickly and setting everything down. "Woah woah! Kid, you know this place is only for employees right? If the wrong person-" You cut yourself off. You wouldn't be too keen on scaring a child like that.

"I know... I couldn't find any of the guards so I came here.." She started fidgeting with her hair, as she swayed, looking everywhere but you.
"What happened? Where are your parents?" You ask crouching down to her height.

She shook her head. "I don't know.. Can you help me? I think I'm lost.." You sighed in response, giving her a smile." Yeah, come on.. Follow me."

You slowly lead her to the main desk, sure you don't work at that job, but you still work in this building, besides as a guard you have a lot more respect so nobody is chasing you away. Wow, if this is what breaking job rules feels like, you've been nailing the spot today.

You grab the microphone, then hesitate for a second before asking the child. "What's your name?"
She searched the hall, as if she was remembering her name, though she probablywas just looking for her parents. "I'm.. Sadie Brew.."

"Good evening everyone! I hope to not disturb your day, But May the Guardians of Sadie Brew come to the front desk? Thank you and enjoy the rest of your time here!" You announced cheerily, mocking the voice of the front desk announcer pretty spot on.

Turning again to face her, you ask,
"Who did you come here with?"
She stared up at you her jaw slightly slack, before lowering her head back to the floor. "Uhm, my mom.."

"Alright then we'll wait right here for her to come pick you up!" You smiled, sitting down on a chair, and placing down the mircophone.

"Thank you Mx.."

How old is she? I'm really hoping her parents are still in the building..

You felt as though you were forgetting- "Oh! You can sit down if you'd like?" You say while holding on to a empty chair.
She shook her head quickly, "No- I'd rather stand.. thanks.."

She wants to sit down, But she's too shy huh?

-----------------------------------------

"Sadie! There you are! Why'd you leave the daycare?! Did something happen?" The little girl runs up to the panicking parent and hugs her joyfully.

Even though it didn't mean much, You still took some of the mothers details in. Curly, healthy hair. Pitch black eyes. She looked a bit like the little girl, so you didn't need to worry.

'Awh, I wish I had a kid..' You sighed half-heartedly.
You give Sadie some candy and send the family off. Walking back to backstage to pick the files back up, however, looking around, you notice a few of the papers were missing. Now only 5 where to be found.

"AWWHH MAN! I wanted to act like a detectiveeee!!...." You groan, continuing looking around to see if they just fell off the table, seeing nothing, no luck and ruined pride, you sit down onto a small wooden chair, before something small catches your eye.

Under the self full of extra animatronic parts laid a something... Tan, and thin. Getting up you pull it out and find a file.
Remember, I said A file. Not ONE OF the files.

You can tell that it only had around 3 papers in it. With... Very small writing. The papers didn't look like it was taken from news articles, an essay, columns, or books. It looked like diary entries.

You've never "admired" reading, it was always more of a fun hobby, but if it was a story you'd like, you would be all over it. AND THIS. was giving MASSIVE, Detective vibes. Gotta get that new, unturned taste in life! Especially in places like this.
