BTS was in America on a late night talk show. They were on Jimmy Kimmel.

After performing the song Mic Drop, they were being interviewed.

"Hi, we are here with BTS!" Jimmy Kimmel said.

BTS did their introductions.

"Ok, so one of my questions for you guys is, how do you guys like being Kpop idols?" Jimmy asked.

Namjoon translated for the group.

"We all find a lot of fulfillment in performing for our fans" Namjoon said.

"Sometimes it is not so good, but we enjoy anyway." Taehyung said in broken English.

"My next question for you guys is what if you weren't idols? Was there something else that you wanted to do with your life?" Jimmy Kimmel asked them.

"I always wanted to be a dancer and I still am so I am very happy." J-hope said.

The rest of BTS gave their answers. Su-mi was the last one to give her answer.

"I actually never wanted to perform. Ever. It was probably the last thing I wanted to do. Before I joined BTS I really wanted to be a lawyer. Jungkook and I graduated from the same the same high school. We are both now doing Online College. I actually applied to several colleges even though I knew that I wouldn't be able to go to them. I applied to and got into Yonsei University, which is a very good college in Seoul. I also got into Yale, Seoul National University, Emory University, and Stanford."

"Wow that's really impressive! Did you ever consider going to one of those colleges."

"Yes, actually, I was strongly considering leaving BTS and my acting career and becoming a full time student."

The boys looked at her with wide eyes. Su-mi had never told them that she was thinking about leaving them.

"My cousin and some of my idol friends coaxed me into staying," Su-mi continued, "I love the boys and they are my family, so I decided that I wanted to stay with them."

The interview continued on, and after it ended, BTS went backstage.

"Su, We need to have a little chat... How could the BlackPink girls about leaving BTS and not us?" Yoongi questioned her.

Su-mi nervously chuckled and mentally prepared for the scolding that she was about to get.
