Su-mi is known to be extremely friendly and polite with everyone.

The only person that Su-mi really is not friends with is Jeongyeon of Twice.

In 2016, fans started to speculate that there was beef between the two.

Fans noticed that at award ceremonies, Jeongyeon would not bow to Su-mi and just glared at her as she passed by.

Su-mi also did not bow to Jeongyeon which surprised many fans.

At one time, BTS and Twice were promoting songs at the same time, Jeongyeon and Su-mi looked as if they were trying their hardest to ignore each other. Su-mi, who is known to be friends with Jihyo, gave Jihyo a smile while giving an uninterested expression at Jeongyeon, who did the same.

There have been many public instances where it was obvious that the two had much dislike for one another.

Fans have created many videos that theorize why there is so much dislike between the two.

Some say that they may have known each other before debut and there was jealousy involved.

Another one of the theories is that there was some weird love triangle with Su-mi, Jimin, and Jeongyeon. It is already known that Jimin and Jeongyeon have some bad blood. So maybe Jeongyeon and Jimin used to date and Su-mi somehow got involved. No one knows what is going on with that though.

Some fans have the outlandish theory that Su-mi and Jeongyeon possibly dated before and they broke up. Most fans do not believe this theory.

Whatever is really going on between the two is something that fans will probably never figure out.
