Everyone knows Su-mi is an affectionate person.

Su-mi loves hugs, cuddles and skin ship.

Because of this Su-minis involved in many dating rumors.

One the first rumors happened in 2016, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo and Su-mi were seen hanging in a cafe in the Hongdae area.

Many reporters and fans speculated that they were dating but BigHit released that Su-mi and Cha Eun Woo were just good friends.

This one may come as a surprise but up until December of 2017, people believed that Park Hyung Sik and Su-mi were together. This was because there were many photos of the two sitting in cars together, going for walks, and eating together.

Su-mi and Hyung Sik were mortified when they found out people thought this and quickly cleared up that they were cousins.

After every Drama airs there is always a dating rumor between the two leads.

In 2017 when "The Bride of Haebak" aired, Su-mi and one of her best friends/costar Nam Joo Hyuk were believed to have dated. They never did date but, in fact, the two did have feelings for each other at one point.

  In 2019, the drama, "ExtraOrdinary You" aired which led to the rumor that Su-mi and fellow costar Rowoon were dating. They are just good friends.

There have been no other rumors as of 2020.
