Su-mi was still new to BTS and seeing as she was living with 7 boys, she was still a bit nervous around them.

Su-mi tried to be nice but also tried to keep her distance.

Even though Su-mi was surrounded by all of the boys almost all the time, she felt somewhat lonely. She was having a hard time bonding with them. Bang PD had spoken to Su-mi a few days after she officially became apart of the group to tell her that she needed to bond and have a connection with the members.

Su-mi thought that this was good advice, which is why she went out of her way to have conversations with some of the members.

Su-mi was trying to talk to Jungkook for the past few weeks but he was pretty shy and they didn't know what to converse about.

Su-mi was thankful when she finally found something that the two had in common. Video games.

The two both loved video games and this is what sparked them to feel more comfortable around each other.

Su-mi and Jungkook were talking one day when Jungkook mentioned something about being the Maknae.

"Maknae? What's that?" Su-mi asked him.

"Oh um it's what you're called when you are the youngest." Jungkook told her.

"Oh well how old are you anyways? I don't think I've ever asked."

"I'm 16" Jungkook answered.

"Cool, me too," Su-mi said.

"Really? What month were you born in?" Jungkook asked.

"September."

"Me too! What day? I wonder who is younger?" Jungkook asked.

"I was born in early September, so you're probably younger than me. But on September 1st."

"Me too!" Su-mi and Jungkook were excited that they had one more thing in common.

The two went to go tell the other boys that they were both the Maknae.

"How can you both be Maknae?" Yoongi, who had some kind of grudge against Su-mi, said, rolling his eyes.

"We're born on the same day!"Su-Mi and Jungkook said in unison.

The pair left and went back to Jungkook's shared room, where they continued to play video games for a few more hours.
