Casually floating in the water as I stare at the clear sky, enjoying the moment of peace and relaxation that I believe I deserve.

I heard splashes of water and giggles not too far away.

I was disturbed when I heard my fellow workers shout and scream in panic.

"Anong meron?!" I asked and swam back to where people were suddenly gathered.

[T: What's happening?]

"ATE SI KUYA MIKEY NALUNOD!" They shouted then my heart began to rapidly beat.

[T: MIKEY WAS DROWNING!]

"HUH?" I exclaimed and swam as fast as I could.

"Anong nangyari?!" I asked and ran to them.

[T: What happened?!]

"Naglalaro lang kami kanina, akala namin marunong lumangoy kaya hinila namin sa tubig." One nervously explained as one was doing chest compressions.

[T: We were just playing before, we thought he knew how to swim so we pulled him into the water.]

"Akala namin nagbibiro lang siya pero di na siya umahon." Another said.

[T: We thought he was just joking but he didn't come up.]

"ANO?! BAKIT DI NIYA SUOT YUNG LIFE VEST!?" I shouted

[T: WHAT?! WHY IS HE NOT WEARING THE LIFE VEST!?]

"Di po namin alam. Inalis niya po kanina eh." They said,

[T: We don't know. He took it off earlier.]

"Tabe tabe!" I said as I took over doing the cpr.

[T: Get out of the way!]

I tried to stay calm as I could to properly do the cpr but tears began to form.

TANGINA NAMAN EH, DI PA KITA SINASAGOT TAPOS AALIS KA AGAD?

[T: MOTHERFUCKER, I DIDN'T EVEN SAID YES TO YOU AND YOU'RE LEAVING?]

GAGO KA BA? BALIK!

[T: ARE YOU AN ASSHOLE? COME BACK!]

After a few consistent compressions, I pinched his nose and slightly tilted his head up for a mouth to mouth resuscitation.

But just as I was to blow air, I felt him kiss me passionately and tried to enter my mouth with his tongue.

My eyes widened as I quickly pulled back and covered my mouth.

People were sighing in relief while Mikey sat up while coughing.

They didn't know what happened because my hair covered our faces.

"Boss Mikey, are you okay?" One worriedly asked and he only hummed in response.

"Arigatou, Lulu-chi-"

Mikey' POV

Gasps from the people around us filled the area while my head was still facing the side after a slap on the face.

The burning sensation from Luz's slap vanished when I looked at her face.

An expression of anger, sadness and confusion was shown while tears ran down her cheeks.

"A-ate Luz?" One of her juniors called but she only stood up and walked away.

I held my cheek as I watched her walk away.

It's been a long time since I was slapped by a girl...

But this time, it's not just a misunderstanding.

Some followed her while the others checked up on me. I only gave them a reassuring smile to calm them down.

Damnit, I made her cry again.

Why did I even do that? Why did I try to take advantage of her?

It was awkward going back to where we stayed. I didn't pay anyone any attention. I didn't talk or react to anything they said or did.

Am I wrong in ignoring everyone else after what happened?

[T: Of course not.]

I think they planned that again to help him make a move. Sometimes I wonder who's their superior here.

But am I wrong in slapping Mikey hard in the face?

Of course, hindi rin.

[T: Of course, also a 'no']

Was it fun making me worry to death just so you can make a move?

Gusto ko lang naman na mapag-isa pagkatapos ng mga nangyari. I need time to cool off.

[T: I just want to be alone after what happened. I need time to cool off.]

I silently prepared our things for our next trip which is in Marinduque. To be honest I feel like I'm just traveling around the country instead of doing work.

But I can't question why the government wants us to go there so I'll just enjoy it while I can I guess.

It's going to be a long trip so we need to ride a car ferry to arrive at the said Island.

I also think that I need to buy a new bag because of all the souvenirs I bought for Cia.

I miss her so bad, I want to vent and eat buttered chicken with her again. But I still have seven month to go before the medical mission ends.

I sighed as I finally finished packing my things and went outside for some air.

Just when I was about to think I can be alone, Mikey comes out of nowhere to sit beside me.

Why naman ganto, di ba ako pwedeng magtampo mag-isa?

[T: Why does it have to be like this? Can't I just be alone and be mad?]

It was quiet for a while until he finally spoke up.

"Lulu-chin" He softly called but I just ignored him and didn't utter a word.

"Lulu-chin, gomen." He said

I understood what he said but I just listened.

"I'm sorry, please look at me." He begged.

Ayoko nga, bahala ka jan.

[T: Whatever, I don't want to.]

"Ne~ Lulu-chin, onegai, ore o mite." he said and held my hand but I pulled away and turned around.

[T: Hey, Lulu-chin, please, look at me.]

Di mo ako dadaan sa ganyan lang. Sumobra ka na eh.

[T: You'll not get your way just with that. You took things too far.]

"Lulu-chin, pahtawahd." He said again and hugged me from the back.

[T: Lulu-chin, sorry.]

"Bitawan mo ko, Mikey." I said and struggled to take his arms off.

[T: Let me go, Mikey.]

Puta bakit ang lakas mo?

[T: Bitch, why are you so strong?]

"Lulu-chin-"

"Mikey, do you think that an apology is enough?" I said

"I was worried that you really drowned! Why would you do that?!" I asked

Shuta iiyak na naman ako neto.

"I thought that you're going to die and it made my heart ache! Do you enjoy making me feel bad after doing sweet things? What's your deal?!" I asked with frustration then tears flowed.

[T: When did I become a crybaby?]

"Lulu-chin, I didn't mean to. I also don't know why I did that. I don't like hurting Lulu-chin but I accidentally do it." He said

May ganon? Accident?

[T: Really? Accident?]

"Your friends and I didn't plan that together. They don't know it." He said

Edi ako yung mali?

[T: Then was I wrong?]

"It's my fault, sorry for making you worry, sorry for kissing you like that." he said

"It's not that I'm saying you couldn't, pag-iisipan ko naman eh pag sinabi mo. I was just mad when you made me worry." I muttered.

[T: It's not that I'm saying you couldn't, I would've reconsidered it. I was just mad when you made me worry.]

"Huh?" he asked

"I said that if you just wanted a kiss I could just consider it if you asked." I said

"But we're not together yet so I thought I couldn't." He said and I looked at him.

"Alam mo ang cute at ang gwapo mo pero mas-slow ka pa sa pagong." I said with a sigh.

[T: You know, you're cute and handsome but you're slower than a turtle.]

"Eh?"

"I'm already saying yes to you." I said

"Really?! Then, can I get a kiss?" He asked with a bright expression.

"Yes but also no because I'm still mad. Hmph!" I said and turned around.

He went in front of me while holding the cheek I slapped earlier with puppy eyes.

"Just a peck on the cheek?" He said.

"Nope." I said and turned the other way.

Kahit na sinagot na kita, papahirapan pa rin kita. Kala mo ha!

"How about now?" He asked and tapped my shoulder.

I hesitantly turned back around and I saw the most absurd thing that he could do.

THIS JAPANESE GUY IS DOING THE PABEBE WAVE!

I feel my heart pounding fast and my face getting flustered.

Di ko alam kung kikiligin ba ako or mahihiya.

[T: I don't know if I'll be flustered or embarrassed.]

He's so cute when I see him try but this is giving me secondhand embarrassment.

"When did you learn that?" I asked while I looked around to see if there's other people around but thankfully there were none.

"The guy at the falls. You were excited when he did "Pahbehbeh Wave". I thought you'd like it." He said and continued to do the wave.

"Bahala ka jan." I said and went back inside with my face red out of embarrassment.

[T: Whatever.]

"Lulu-chin wait. Should I wave with two hands?" He asked

"EWAN KO SAYO!" I said and ran straight back to my room.

[T: I DON'T KNOW!]

Shit ako naman ang nahihirapan, hindi siya.

[T: Shit I'm the one having a hard time, not him.]
