Mikey's POV

I think it was worth it almost drowning to death because Luz finally said yes.

I was just chilling at the raft when they pulled me to the water, I just didn't struggle and thought that maybe it was the day I'm going to die.

But I got resuscitated by the first person who did CPR. I was disappointed but when Luz took over I thought that it wasn't that bad.

How could I resist her sweet kiss? So I took the chance.

She slaps harder than Takemicchi's girl though, it even left a mark.

"Are you okay, Mikey?" Luz asked while I leaned to a wall.

"No." I said because I felt like throwing up because of motion sickness.

Luz's next job is in Marinduque and we took a ferry to go there. I didn't know I'd get sea-sick, i'd rather get punched in the gut than be like this for a few hours.

"Here, drink this." She said and gave me a bottle of water and medicine.

"No." I refused. I never liked medicine, it tasted awful in any shape or form.

"It will make you feel better." She insisted.

"I don't like-"

"Iinumin mo yan or itatapon kita sa dagat?" She said with a smile.

[T: Drink this or I'll throw you in the ocean?]

I just know that she's not joking when she says it in her language and smiles.

I just drank the medicine without any question. She just means well.

"Oh diba? Ganun lang kadali." She said and kissed my cheek.

[T: See? It's that easy.]

I just leaned on her shoulder and tried to get some sleep.

I'm thinking of staying here, with her.

I'll just continue to hide the crimes I did so I can be with her.

Right, I think I don't need to meet Takemicchi anymore.

As long as I have Luz, that's all that matters.

I'm willing to spend heaven with you on earth even though I know I'll go to hell.

"Yiee, sana all." My fellow nurse teased me.

[Yieee, hope all.]

"Shhh, natutulog siya wag kayong maingay." I whispered then they quickly zipped their mouth and minded their own business.

[T: Shhh, he's sleeping, don't be noisy.]

Well, it's been a few days since I said yes to Mikey and it was the best day I'd ever had.

The only thing is, he still does the pabebe wave from time to time out of nowhere. I admit that it's cute as hell but it's embarrassing.

From the few months that I met him, I realized that there's still so many things that I don't know about him.

I'm not rushing but sometimes I get curious about him, he just reminds me of someone I met a long time ago.

Of course I always remember the saying "Curiosity killed the cat" so I'll just respect his boundaries.

Baka masira pa kung anong meron sa amin. Bakit ko sasayangin ang "sana" na naging "tama"?

[T: I don't want to ruin what's going on with us. Why would I waste the hope/wish that was granted?]

Salamat nalang sa Diyos at dumating ka.

[T: Thank God that you came.]

"Mikey, wake up." I said and gently tapped his shoulder.

We finally arrived at the port in the Municipality of Mogpog after a long ferry ride.

"Hmm?" He asked and sat up while scratching his eyes.

"We're here." I said and stood up.

Our mission for the month of April is finally starting.

"ATE LUZ!! DALIAN MO!" They called from the living room.

[T: LUZ!! COME HERE QUICKLY!]

"MAGSISIMULA NA BA?!" I shouted while I hurriedly cooked the popcorn.

[T: IS IT STARTING ALREADY?!]

"OO" They said so I quickly salted the popcorn and went to the living room. I sat beside Mikey on the floor

[T: YES]

"Nagpapakilala na sila ng mga maglalaban." They said.

[T: They're introducing the fighters.]

On the blue corner, the desert storm, TIMOTHYYYYYYYYYYYY BRADLEYYY.

And on the red corner, the humble warrior, MANNY PACMAAAAAAAAN PAQUIAOO

"LETS GOOOO!!!!" We all cheered except Mikey of course, I think it's his first time to watch boxing on TV.

Today is the third rematch fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. Boxers from the Philippines versus America.

"Lulu-chin, I didn't know you like watching fights." He said

"Well it really depends on what kind of fight. If it's Pacquiao's fight, the whole Philippines will be watching." I said and continued to watch.

"What if I fight, will you watch?" He asked, then I looked at him with confusion.

"You fight?" I asked as he nodded

"I'm actually one of the strongest when I was young." He bragged

"Really?" I asked

He seems so confident about it so maybe it's true. That would explain his lean build and especially his abs-

I mean-

"Ate Luz, kanino ka pupusta?" My juniors asked.

[T: Luz, who are you betting on?]

"Team Bradley yung anim doon. Team Pacquiao kaming apat. Ikaw?" They asked.

[T: The six people over there are on Team Bradley. Us four are on Team Pacquiao, you?]

Hmm, Bradley won the last rematch while Pacquiao won the first so I'm not really sure.

Oh, I have an idea!

"Mikey, who do you think will win?" I asked him.

He observed for a while before turning back to me with a smile.

"The red team." He confidently said.

"Pacquiao?" I asked and he nodded.

I mean I would've picked Pacquiao too so him saying that he'll win makes me feel confident too.

"Oh ayun, team Pacquiao din ako!" I said.

[T: There, I'm on Team Pacquiao too!]

"Magkano ipupusta mo?" They asked.

[T: How much are you betting?]

"3K" I said and smirked.

"Wow!" They exclaimed in surprise.

We continued to watch the match then Mikey wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"If you win the bet, I deserve a prize~" He whispered in my ear.

AAAHHHH SHET, TUMAYO BALAHIBO KO!

[AAAHHHH SHIT, I GOT GOOSEBUMPS!]

"What prize?" I whispered back but he just smiled back.

"I'll say it if you win." He said and tapped my nose which made me blush.

"HOY WAG KAYONG MAGLANDIAN DITO. MAHIYA NAMAN KAYO SA MGA SINGLE!" They said

[T: HEY DON'T YOU GUYS FLIRT HERE. BE ASHAMED FOR THE SINGLE PEOPLE HERE!]

"OO NGA!" the others agreed.

[T: THAT'S RIGHT!]

These people, they helped Mikey to court me and then do this? The freaking audacity.

"EH BAKIT KASI KAMI YUNG PINAPANOOD NINYO, NANDOON ANG TV!" I exclaimed and pointed at the television in front.

[T: WHY ARE YOU WATCHING US ANYWAYS? THE TV IS RIGHT THERE!]

"Kuya Mikey awatin mo yang jowa mo. Galit na galit gustong manakit." They said

[T: Mikey, calm your girlfriend down. She looks like she wants to fight.]

"Huh?" Mikey asked

"Your girlfriend, angry, angry again." They said.

Aba wow, sino may kasalanan?

[T: Oh wow, who's fault is it?]

"Ano ba yan, wag nga kayong maingay, nanonood ako." I said while I was trying to watch the fight seriously.

[T: Can you be quiet, I'm watching the fight.]

"Lulu-chin, don't be mad." Mikey said and fed me popcorn.

"I'm not." I said and ate the popcorn while trying not to smile.

May kamay naman ako at kaya kong kumain mag-isa, pero kung si Mikey nagpapakain sa akin edi salamat na lang ulit Lord.

[T: I have a hand and I can eat by myself, but if Mikey is the one that feeds me then thank you again Lord.]

HAHAHAHAHA WAIT, DEJA VU?
