Your POV

"Tara na, bilis!!" My junior exclaimed.

[T: Come on, let's go, quickly!!]

"Eto na eto na!" I said and followed.

[T: Alright, alright!]

We need to take a boat to where the falls is and it is said to take at least an hour or two to arrive there because of how long the river we have to go through.

We are asked to wear life jackets and a hard hat for our safety before we ride the boat. Two to three people in one so of course because of a somehow convenient grouping, I was partnered with Mikey.

They don't have to do this kind of thing anymore because it's too obvious and I knew they were going to do that.

Mikey went first and offered a hand to help me board the boat.

The two of us sat in the middle of the boat with Mikey behind me and two professional boat riders on each end.

The others already went ahead and we were the last ones to take off.

The beginning of the ride is calm and smooth sailing because the water is slowly flowing.

And as the photogenic person that I am, I took out my phone and took pictures of the surroundings.

I also took a selfie with Mikey. He agrees to take pictures with me as long as I don't post it on social media. I already have a lot and I'll develop these pictures before the year ends and compile it into an album.

After a while, we arrived at the toll gate or the entry to the Cavinti rapids. We gave our tickets that we had bought earlier.

The exciting part of the boat ride is finally starting and the loud flow of the water can be heard.

The ride was bumpy so I held on tight to the side of the boat.

"Paki-pasok lang po yung mga kamay ninyo sa bangka, ma'am, sir." One boat rider said.

[T: Ma'am, sir, kindly keep your arms inside the boat.]

"Mikey, put your arms inside the area of the boat. There are many rocks." I said.

"Like, this?" He asked as snaked one of his arm around my waist and held onto the boat with the other.

"Yes but you don't need to hold me. Just keep your arms inside." I said with a flustered face. It's a good thing I was in front of him.

"Like this?" He asked again and hugged me with both arms.

"Mikey!" I exclaimed and tapped his arms.

"Okay, okay." He said with a chuckle and unwrapped one arm. He's still holding me though and I just tried not to get distracted.

The boat riders are manually pushing the boat through the rapids by stepping in and out of the boat to climb the stream.

Suddenly I heard my co-workers scream and squeal so I immediately tried to look over and stand for a little while. Completely forgetting the arm around my waist I fell back and landed on Mikey's chest.

"Lulu-chin, are you okay?" He asked while I only nodded. I heard another squeal from those in front and my name was called.

"ATE LUZ, TIGNAN MO DALI!!! MERON SI ALDEN RICHARDS AAAHHH!!" They said and I quickly sat back up and peeked to see where the said person was.

[T: LUZ, QUICKLY LOOK!!! ALDEN RICHARDS IS HERE AAAAHHHH!!]

I am a fan of Alden Richards, an actor, after watching the "Kalyeserye", a comedy series in one show. I just remembered that he's from Laguna.

I followed where they were looking and saw Alden Richards waving to people so I waved back when he looked over.

Mikey's POV

She looks so happy and excited seeing the guy on the other boat. Who is that? Does she know him?

"Lulu-chin, who's that?" I asked while I tugged her shirt.

"He's a Filipino actor, I'm one of his fans." She said and continued to wave.

"ALDEN ISANG PABEBE WAVE NAMAN JAN!" She shouted to the guy who smiled and waved in a weird manner.

[T: ALDEN CAN I GET A "PABEBE WAVE"!!]

She squealed and said thank you over and over until the guy went ahead.

What does that wave even mean? Why is she excited over that? Is that a Filipino thing to do? Was that flirting? Was he flirting with my Luz?

"Mikey?" Luz said and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Hmm?" I asked

"Are you okay? You've been staring at your hand for a while now." She said as I quickly put my hand down.

"I'm okay." I said and smiled.

"I see, we're almost at the falls." She excitedly said and looked back in front. I wrapped my arm around her waist again as the boat ride continued.

We arrived at the end of the boat ride and I helped Luz unboard the boat.

"Be careful." I said and offered a hand which she accepted and said thanks.

The area feels cold and the falling water can be clearly heard.

"Yezz let's go!!" One of her fellows excitedly exclaimed and went ahead with the others.

"Hoy magdahan dahan kayo, madulas yung bato." Luz said to our excited companions.

[T: Hey be careful over there, the rocks are slippery.]

We all boarded a raft that will be pulled by someone so we can go to the actual falls.

From the raft we are riding, I can feel the cold air and pressure created by the falls.

When we were near the falling water, they all screamed because of the cold water making contact with our skins.

I held Luz and protectively covered her from the pressure of the falls.

The water feels like liquid rocks falling because of how heavy the impact was. I would call it painful but it's nothing that I can handle.

After we experienced the falls the others jumped to the water for a swim, including Luz while I stayed on the raft and watched them playfully swim around.

"What's wrong, Mikey? Why don't you swim?" Luz asked as she held onto the raft.

"I'm not used to swimming outdoors." I said and smiled.

The only place I swam was at the public bath house back in Japan.

"Really? Why don't you try? You're wearing a life vest anyways." She asked again.

"Maybe later." I said and only smiled. She just shrugged and continued to swim along with the others.

Look at her go, I'm glad she's enjoying it.
