Your POV [Flashback]

Slowly sneaking behind a man who was smoking, I grinned.

"Kuya Shin!" I called and jumped on his back and he stumbled for a while.

"Oi oi, you're getting more and more bratty every time we meet. Do you like me that much?" He said

"This is just how cool I am. Also, I don't like you, you're always bragging about your looks." I said and tug his hair.

"Hey, stop that. You're going to make me bald. Jeez, you remind me so much of my brother." He said

"You have a brother?" I asked and got off his back.

"Yeah, he's around your age too. Do you want to see his picture? What if you'll like him instead. My brother is also as handsome as me." He asked and I looked at him with a deadpanned expression.

"Wag na" I said and turned around. He's probably the same as Kuya Shin. 

[T: No thanks.}

"Oh come on, look." He said and showed me a picture in his wallet.

"Sabi kong ayaw-" I restored but stopped when my eyes landed on the picture and were left speechless.

[T: I said I don't-]

"See? He's handsome too right?" He said and tapped my nose. "Don't tell me you fell in love with my brother?" He teased and poke my cheek.

I turned around with my cheeks feeling red.

The only thought I had at that time was if I was sick. My heart was beating loud and quick. I also felt hot.

"Lulu-chan?" He called and tapped my shoulder.

I covered my cheeks and looked at him shyly. He looked at me shocked for a moment before he smirked.

"Oohhh, I see. You like my brother!" He teased

"I don't! I never even liked boys. They're so dumb and dirty." I said and rolled my eyes.

"Then why are you all red after seeing his picture?" He teased again.

"Nilalagnat lang ako" I said and turned away, trying to act as if nothing happened.

[T: I'm just having a fever.]

I have to maintain my cool. 

I couldn't believe I have a crush just by seeing a picture.

Mikey's POV

I ran across the road and saw her lying on the ground with her head on top of a rock, bleeding.

I knelt down and cradled her body and tried to wake her up as tears began to well on my eyes.

"Luz, Luz." I called and gently shake her.

She was still breathing but she was unconscious. 

I wasted no time and carried her on my back rushed back to their house. There was no one around to help.

We have to rush her to the hospital.

"Lulu-chin, please. Not like this." I begged and continue to run.

I kept praying in my mind and begging that she'll be okay.

As I was running, I felt her move for a bit.

"M-Mikey?" She weakly called.

"Don't worry, we're going to the hospital. Hang on for me." I said

"Mikey, my head hurts. I want to go home." She said softly.

"I know, you hit your head when you fell. Don't worry, we're almost there." I reassured but deep inside I feel like I'm about to die of worry.

"Luz, keep talking to me. Don't fall asleep." I said

"I can't, I feel weird. I want to sleep." she said

"Please, don't. Just keep talking to me. You said you had something to ask right? You can ask me now." I said with desperation.

"Oh, right." She said.

"What's your question, Luz?" I asked, trying to continue our conversation.

"Is your name really Michael Kurokawa? Please don't lie to me." She asked

I pursed my lips and hesitated to reply. 

"Come on Mikey, I need to hear your answer. Please." She weakly begged.

"No." I said "That's not my real name." I added.

My heart was telling me not to lie any longer. 

"I knew it. So that's why you rarely like to say your name." She said

"I'm sorry, Luz. I'll explain it to you later so stay with me. Please. I don't care if you get mad at me. It doesn't matter if you slap my arm so many times. As long as you stay with me, I can take all your anger. I'm sorry that I lied about my name, but I never lied when I said that I love you. So, please...stay awake." I said and heard a small chuckle.

"I'm not mad, I know that you meant what you said." She said and tears were flowing from my eyes.

"Mikey" She called again.

"Hmm?" I replied, trying to prevent tears from falling.

"What's your real name?" She asked

"Manjiro, Sano Manjiro." I replied

"I see...Do you remember about the wish I mentioned that I kept wishing every aguinaldo mass?" She asked

"Yeah, you said you'll tell me if it comes true, right?" I asked

"Hmm. It did come true. After how many years of wishing." She said

"What was your wish?" I asked and noticed their house from afar. We're almost there.

"My wish was to meet my first crush in person. I was even saving up to go where he was because I promised him to." She said

"When did that come true?" I asked

"Last year." She replied.

"Who was your first crush?" I asked. I don't care whoever that is, I know that I was never the first but I'm going to be her last.

"He's my fiance....Sano Man...jiro..." She said and her hands went limp. She was unconscious again.

My mind can't comprehend what she said and just ran faster until I reached her home.

I called for her parents who were shocked when they saw their daughter on my back.

"What happened?!" Her mom exclaimed with tears flowing from her eyes.

"She hit her head after getting almost hit by a car." I briefly explained.

Her dad quickly started the car and we rushed straight to the hospital. I held her hand gently while praying for her to make it. 

Come on, Luz. Be strong for me just like last time. Please, I still need you.
