"Grabe kinabahan ako kanina. Wala akong maintindihan sa sinabi nila." A junior of mine said.

[T: I was so nervous a while ago. I don't understand anything they said.]

"Oo nga eh, para akong lutang kanina." another replied.

[T: I know right, I was out of thought the whole time.]

"Buti nalang si ate Luz kasama natin. Ganda ng speech niya kanina. Parang sagot lang sa Q and A." The other said.

[T: It's a good thing we have Luz with us. Her speech was so beautiful. It's like an answer for a Q and A.]

"Sabi ko kasing matulog kayo ng maaga." I said.

[T: I told you guys to sleep early.]

"Baka ganado ka lang sumgot dahil sa "Kaibigan" mo." Another teased.

[T: Or maybe you're motivated to answer because of your "friend".]

"Bahala kayo jan di ko kayo ilelibre sa Mcdo." I said and walked forward.

[T: Scew you guys, I won't treat you to Mcdonalds.]

"Ate Luz joke lang naman."

[T: It's just a joke.]

"Oo nga wait lang, gusto ko ng fried chicken at fries."

[T: Yeah, wait for me. I want fried chicken and fries.]

"Che!" I exclaimed and ignored their apologies.

Right when I was about to turn to a corner, I bumped into someone and fell on my butt.

"Ay aray!" I said.

[T: Ouch!]

"Ay sorry, ayos ka lang, miss?" the person who I bumped to asked.

[T: Oh sorry. Are you okay, miss?]

He put down the basket full of carrots and helped me up.

"Okay lang, sorry di ako tumitingin sa dinadaanan ko." I said.

[T: I'm okay, I'm sorry for not looking where I was going.]

"Hala! Ta imam agdardara! (Hala! Yung kamay mo dumudugo!)" He said and looked at my hand which is bleeding.

[T: Oh no! Your hand is bleeding!]

"Okay lang po, maliit na sugat lang." I awkwardly said.

[T: It's really okay, it's just a small wound.]

He handed me a clean handkerchief for my hand.

"Kunin mo na ito. Pasesnya ka na." Sabi niya.

[T: Take this. I'm so sorry.]

Before I was able to reply, I heard squeals from the side. I found my companions watching and taking a picture of us.

"Sorry, mga kasama ko lang yun. Wag mo nalang pansinin. Salamat sa panyo ...." I said

[T: Sorry, they're my friends. Just don't  mind them. Thanks for the handkerchief....]

"Jeyrick. Jeyrick Sigmaton." He said

"Salamat, Jeyrick. Nadistorbo pa kita sa ginagawa mo." I said and smiled.

[T: Thanks, Jeyrick. I even disturbed you with your work.]

"Pasensya na din, ingat po kayo sa susunod, miss." He said and walked away with his basket.

[T: I'm sorry too, take care next time, miss.]

The other girls from the group came and rushed to me, excitedly.

"Yieee, ate Luz sino naman yun. Ampogi!" They said.

[T: Yieee, Luz, who was that. So handsome!]

"Jeyrick Sigmaton daw pangalan." I replied with a sigh.

[T: He said his name was Jeyeick Sigmaton.]

"Ang complicated naman pangalan. Carrot man nalang tawag ko para mas madali." One said.

[T: His name is a bit complicated. I'll just call him Carrot man.]

"Uy, mukhang artista mars. Buti nalang na picturan ko."

[T: Hey, he looked like and actor. It's a good thing I took a picture.]

"Bes pasend. Pati yung meron si ate Luz. Para akong nanonood ng drama kanina, ang sweet." Another said.

[T: Bestie, send me the pics, don't forget the one with Luz in it. It's like I witnessed a drama scene, so sweet.]

I just left them and continue to walk to Mcdonalds. I heard then calling for me to wait up but I just continued.

The scratch on my hand stings but it's nothing that I can handle.

After a long day in La Trinidad, we were back to where we are going to stay at.

We're going to an isolated part in here so we're prepraring our things.

"Wag niyo kalimutan magdala ng kailangan niyo. Walang malapit na pagbilihan doon kasi malayo." I said.

[T: Don't forget everything you need. There's no stores nearby there because it's far.]

"Opo." They said.

"Alalahanin niyo na maglalakad tayo sa bundok. Hindi pa maayos kalsada nila dito kaya magsuot kayo ng komportableng sapatos." I said

[T: Remember that we're hiking on a mountian. The road is not yet paved so wear comfortable shoes.]

"Ate Luz, tignan mo yung babaeng yun nakaselpon lang sa tabi." One said and pointed another.

[T: Luz, look at that girl, she's only on her phone.]

"Oo nga kanina pa siya jan."

[T: Yeah, she's like that since earlier.]

"Tiganan niyo toh dali!! Trending yung nakabangga kay ate Luz kanina sa facebook."

[T: Look at this, quick!! The one who bumped to Luz is trending on facebook.]

"Saan?" They said as they all huddled and looked at the phone.

[T: Where?]

"Ay oo nga!! Si Carrot man at ate Luz" They said.

[T: You're right!! It's carrot man and Luz.]

"Huy, bat ako nasali jan!" I said and joined the huddle.

[T: Hey, why am I included!]

"Basahin mo yung comments!" They said

[T: Read the comments!]

"Tangina sino nagpost nito?!!" I asked in anger.

[T: Wtf, who posted thia?!!]

"Siya po" they said and pointed at the person who only chuckled and ran.

[T: Them.]

"Bumalik ka dito!!!" I said and ran after them. I threw my slipper and hit their head.

[T: Come back!!!]

"Sorryyy na ate!!!"

[T: I'm sorryyy!!!]

"Sorry mo mukha mo, halika dito!!!!" I shouted.

[T: Sorry your face, come back here!!!!]

The Next Day.

We just finished our work on the first place we had to visit, the one who posted the picture of me and the guy yesterday is on the verge of passing out.

I made them carry the heavy equipment that we used since cars can't come here because of the road.

While walking, I was thinking about Mikey. I called him last night but he didn't answer.

I just thought that he's busy so I tried calling him again this morning but still no response.

I'm just concerned because he said he doesn't know anyone here in the Philippines besides me.

Also, I deactivated my facebook account because of the different notification I got from that viral photo.

It's so annoying, even my Messenger account is being spammed with mesaage requests.

It was a good thing that the signal was so weak in the mountains so I had a break from that.

Pero maghost na ata ako. Tssk.

[T: I think I've been ghosted. Tssk.]

It was fun until it lasted, I guess.

I just finished taking a bath and I can hear my companions being noisy in the living room.

I don't know but, I'm kind of in a bad mood.

"Ang ingay niyo. Tapos niyo na bang ilista yung mga nagpacheck-up kani-" I asked as I entered while I was dryiing my hair with a towel.

[T: You guys are noisy. Are you done listing the people who had a check-up a while a-]

I stopped moving when I saw them talking to a guest. They were eating cake.

"M-mikey?!" I exclaimed as they all turned to me.

"Hello, Lulu-chin!" He said and smiled. I was still speechless and confused.

He stood up and gave me a bouquet of flowers.

"Wha-"

"YIIIIIEEEEEEEE, KISSSSS!!" They exclaimed.

My cheeks felt hot so I turned around and felt my face. My heart was beating fast and I feel so shy.

I turned back around and faced Mikey who was still smiling.

"T-thanks for the flowers but why did you came here?" I asked as he took out his phone.

I missed you so I decided to come here and visit you. I don't have anything to do so I'll just help you while I follow.

He came here from Manila just because he missed me? With flowers too!

"But where will you stay?" I asked

"Pwede naman siya dito, may extra pang space sa boys room." One of my male junior said.

[T: He can stay in the boys' room, there's extra space.]

"Oo nga, dito nalang para di na masyadong magastos mag-hotel." Another said.

[T: Yeah, he can stay here so he won't spend more money on hotels.]

These guys have been bought by the cake.

"How did you come here? Motorbike?" I asked.

"I buy a car." He said and smiled.

"Oh, I see-" I said.

Wait? Buy?

BUMILI SIYA NG SASAKYAN PARA PUMUNTA DITO?!

[HE BOUGHT A CAR JUST TO COME HERE?!]
