(Gonna start doing this thing- where I'll involve a paragraph from the previous chapter, for y'all to remember where the story left off. (☞ Ν‘Β° ΝœΚ– Ν‘Β°)☞)Β

-
He softened a bit.
"Simple. Don't talk to him as much. Of course, I'm not saying avoid him. Course not. Oh! And also-" He took a few steps towards you.
"-Don't get any ideas. If you need anything, or anyone. Let me be your first resort. "
Thoughts zipped by, you tried to understand what exactly he meant by that.
"Moon. . . I-"
He straightened his posture, and interrupted you. "I need to patrol. See you soon, my Comet~"
He gave you a small bow, before disappearing behind the curtain.
You help but feel like the bow was to make fun of you in a way.

Anyhow, You resisted the urge of snooping. It would be the perfect chance to!Β  . . . The locked drawer also seemed more suspicious every time you looked at it. Could've been because of the strange vibe fixated around it, added to the fact you were in a Fazbear establishment. Or how it seemed to sit in the corner menacingly. Either way, it was off.Β

You shook off the thought, trying to not overthink anything, or scare yourself. Could easily be filled up with just personal items.

'Oh right- I still need to clock out.'

-
You stared into your backpack. Looking to find something, anything you felt motivated to do in that moment.
The plex is pretty big, so you assumed you'll be seeing Moon in an hour or so.

You didn't really care about the fact that he wanted you to go to bed extra extra early, You need a least a couple hours longer of 'awake time'.
BESIDES! It was around. . . 4:10.
Thats way too early.
You took out your phone, put in your headphones, and started to busy yourself with videos, books, etc.

Besides, An hour of apps like, Tiktok, could feel like only 10 minutes.
Anywho, You scrolled aimlessly for 30 minutes.
But your phone died. So, you had to put it down.

It was amazing timing, that a certain someone was standing next to the certain. Staring directly at. . . well, you.
Narrowing your eyes, you spoke hesitantly, "Woah. You. . . you were quick. You did patrol the whole plex right? Or skipped over places?"

Even though he didn't say anything, the glare he gave you was enough. You scrunched up your face in annoyance. "No. No. I am NOT going to sleep this early. I'll end up waking at midnight!"
He started to grin, yet showed no real emotion. "Then I hope you know ways to entertain yourself."

Which was the last few memorable sentences you shared. Surprisingly, you woke up at about 4am. Meaning you got a hell of a lot of sleep that night.

Of course you woke up tired, but that's just because life is a pain in the ass. You always wake up tired. And even if you manage to wake up refreshed, how long Is that going to last?

Anyhow, when you woke up you immediately scanned the room. To find yourself in the exact same place you remember. Thankfully, you woke up alone in the room. Not that you expected anything else, at this point being given privacy by the two has been healthy occurrence. Not exactly what you thought would happen with these robots, but they don't seem like 'just machines' anymore.Β

You waited for time to pass, so you could clock in. You first walked down the stairs, Moon wasn't seen in the main daycare either. So, either he was patrolling, or just in the daycare's theater. As the plex wasn't opened yet, the lights were off and the normal music wasn't playing yet.Β

. . .

You tripped. How? By missing the last step. When you did, you heard the sound of a small bell.Β 'It would've been a smarter move to just watch where I was stepping.' You thought to yourself, while standing up and brushing yourself off. Looking, there was nothing near you to make the sound of bells. There was a sharp wince of pain on your knees, and ankles. It wasn't enough to whine, or cry about. However, it was enough to slightly change your walking pattern. Moving on, you made it to the desk. And slung off your backpack, placing it down, for the chair to wear instead.Β

Taking out your laptop, you checked the time, 4:45am. You normally clock in at around 5:50, so you had to wait around an hour.Β

__

It was opening time. But guess what? You had no fucking idea where Sun was. The lights already turned on, music started playing. Kids weren't arriving yet, but gosh you started to freak out. You almost got up to check the plex, but decided that you should stay in the daycare, after all. . . when the kids arrive -even though you wouldn't like to- someone needs to watch / take care of them.

Voices started to flood the daycare, a small amount of hope came that it was just mechanics or other workers, but no. It was the children.

The first small kid came tumbling into the ball pit. At first when you heard the usual entrance of Sun, you were relived. But realization quickly hit you like a bullet.

(Sure, this was a short chapter to come back with. . . but it was the PERFECT chance for a cliffhanger : ] )
