Previously: "They're fucking with the wrong people."

Everyone in the train car stood in silence. They knew they would get out eventually. How? When? They didn't have those answers, but they would get out. "Elle?" Glenn asked. All eyes were now on the blonde. He stepped towards her and hugged her. The sudden contact scared her, but she hugged him back.

She stepped back, and started ripping the tape. She pulled her knife out and held it under the light, making the blade give off a glare.

"How did they not find that?" An unidentified woman asked. She had gorgeous olive skin, a nice figure, and thick dark hair tied into two ponytails that sat at the base of her neck and reached over her shoulders. Elle shrugged instead of speaking as if to say 'I don't know', except she did know. Daryl had threatened the man, Alex, who was giving pat downs.

โ€โ€โ€

Everyone had started making make shift weapons, using everything they could find to assist them. Rick had taken the metal zipper from Carl's sweatshirt and was using it to cut out a chunk of wood from the beam in the corner. Like a wooden stake. Other people were using belt buckles, jewelry, sometimes people asked to borrow Elle's knife to help them put their weapon together. She wasn't going to refuse, so she let them. She had also started to make two weapons, but not only for her. One was for Sarah who had been cowering in the corner since they entered the car.ย

"You okay?" A voice asked, startling Elle who had been so focused on what she was doing. She looked up and made eye contact with Maggie's green eyes. Elle shrugged. She wasn't happy, nobody was, but if she had said no, Maggie would've asked questions that she really didn't want to have to answer. "You think Jack and Cody are out there, safe?" She asked.

"I'm finding harder and harder to even believe that they're alive," Elle mumbled. Instead of asking any further questions and risk upsetting the girl more, Maggie didn't say anything. Daryl had told everyone what happened to Beth. He said they had gotten out together and she was taken by someone in a car with a white cross painted on the back wind shield. He said he tried to chase the car, but he couldn't keep up. That's how he ended up with Joe. Maggie was relieved that Beth wasn't here at Terminus, but she still wanted her sister.ย

Out of everyone in their group, there were still people missing. Tyreese, Carol, Jack, Cody, Ryder, and Beth. All they could do was hope that they would find them. There was shouting coming from outside.ย

"Oh, here." Elle said, pulling out the watch.

"How'd you get this back?" She asked, slowly taking it.

"The man who took it is dead." She answered, finishing her weapons.

"Everybody get to either side of the car, now!" The voice shouted. Elle quickly hid her knife behind her thigh again and held her new weapon. She handed the other to Sarah.ย

"Remember, go for their eyes, then their throats." Rick whispered. Everyone held their weapons up, ready. There were footsteps coming from above them. Everyone looked up at the roof of the car. Then, the latch opened and something was thrown in.ย

"Move!" The big, muscular man, who they learned to be Abraham, yelled. Elle felt someone pull her towards the wall when a big explosion occurred, sending her and the person flying back.

Her ears rang, her vision was blurry, and she couldn't stop coughing. Over the ringing, she could hear the door they entered being opened, and people being pulled out of the car. Then she felt herself as well being lifted. She quickly swiped one of the weapons she made. She tried to fight back, but it was no use. She was thrown on the ground, outside, when her vision cleared. Also on the ground was Rick, Daryl, Bob, Glenn, and Sarah.

"Woah, come on man, they're kids." One of the men said.

"Mind your own damn business." The other man argued. Elle realized what was about to happen. Fear took over her body once more.ย

"No no no. Please! No! Rick you promised!" She cried as her and Sarah, who was also crying, were dragged further and further away from their people. The man was a lot stronger than them, so their resisting was worth nothing. All it did was make the man's grip tighter.

He dragged the two girls inside a building and down a hallway. Elle tried to look at all her surroundings so she could recognize them later. Her eyes widened when she saw carcasses strung up in one room. But not any carcasses, human carcasses. These people were cannibals.

"Oh my god," Sarah cried when she saw the same room. "they're gonna eat us."

"No they're not. But you're gonna wish they did." Elle responded. They were dragged into a room, where the man finally let go of them. He closed and locked the door behind him, before turning around to face them.

In the room, there was a crappy bed, a small desk, and a lamp sitting on the desk. There was a small window at the top of the wall as well.

The man had a creepy smile on his face, a lot like the man from the previous night. He slowly walked towards them, and grabbed Sarah.

"No!" Both of the girls screamed in unison, but the man didn't care nor listen. He threw her on the bed, the springs in the mattress squeaking. His back was facing Elle, so she pulled out her knife from her thigh.

She ran up behind him, and stabbed him in the back of his head, killing him immediately. Sarah screamed again. Elle pulled the knife out, splattering blood on her face. Sarah pushed the man's dead body off of her and rushed to Elle's side.

"Here." She said, giving Sarah a wooden stake she made in the train car.

"How do we get out of here? And when we do, what do we do next?" She panicked.

"Honestly, no idea. Do you have a bobby pin?" Elle asked. Sarah poked around her messy bun and pulled out a shiny black bobby pin. A long piece of her brown hair fell. She handed Elle the pin.

She quickly walked over to the door knob and started fidgeting with it, until she heard a small click as the door unlocked. She handed the brown haired girl her pin and slowly opened the door. She stuck her head out to see if the hallway was clear. It was. "Come on." She whispered, holding her knife out as she slowly walked out of the room, Sarah following close behind.

They could go left or right. There was no reasoning behind Elle's decision to go right, she just did. The two girls continued down the hallway, still being very cautious.

They started to approach a large doorway when they heard voices. Gareth. Elle couldn't tell what he was saying, but she figured it wasn't anything good. She decided she wanted to take a peek inside to see what was happening. As she slowly got closer, Sarah kicked something on the ground. They froze in their tracks, thinking somehow they would turn invisible and nobody would've known they were there.

They could hear someone's footsteps getting closer, causing them to raise their weapons. Were they going to defeat this person if they tried to fight them, no. No they will not.

"The hell?" Gareth's voice sounded as he walked through the doorway and saw the two girls. Elle went to hurt him in any way she could, but she was easily stopped.

She hadn't been the strongest since the sickness started at the prison. Kind of ironic, before the end of the world, she was arrested for assault, but now, she was weak. And she hated it.

Another man had walked upon the scene when he heard all the commotion. Gareth and the man grabbed the girls, taking their weapons. "Who's blood is that?" Gareth asked, looking at the fresh blood on Elle's face.

"I don't know his name, but it doesn't matter anymore, does it?" She snarked. Gareth rolled his eyes as he tied he hands behind her back, then doing the same to Sarah. He walked them into the room they planned on looking in anyways, and saw eight people sitting in front of a huge drain.

They were all on their knees, gagged, and hands and feet tied. There were two men standing behind them. One had a metal baseball bat, the other a sharp knife. A really sharp knife. Four people on the right were people Elle had never seen before, the other four on the left, were from her group. Glenn, Daryl, Rick, and Bob. "Found these two." Gareth announced their presence to the two men.ย

"You want us to fit 'em in line?" The one with the baseball bat asked.ย

"Yeah, put one there and the other there." Gareth instructed, pointing at the space between Glenn and a stranger, and the spot all the way at the end of the line, to the right of Bob. Sarah let out a small whimper.

"Put her first, please. I can't die." Sarah cried. Elle slowly turned her head towards the girl.

"Well fuck you too!" She shouted.ย

"Wow, you're pretty selfish. But it doesn't matter because in the end, you'll both be dead." Gareth shrugged. He grabbed the two teenagers and started walking them over to the lineup.ย

"When we get to hell, I will rip out each and every strand of hair from your scalp." Elle threatened through gritted teeth. That caused Gareth to chuckle before placing Sarah next to Bob, and walked further down the line and set Elle in between Glenn and a man from another train car.ย  The two men put gags in their mouths.

Gareth started asking Rick questions, but Elle paid no attention. She stared at the shiny metal trout in front of her. There was a drain at the end, a small, circular drain. The talking in the background has become muffled, as Elle focused on the drain.ย

She thought about how in only a few minutes, her blood could be running towards the drain. The dark red liquid would slowly go down each tiny, individual hole. Would she suffer, or would the blood come out so fast that she would choke for a few seconds before she dies? What if somehow, some god given miracle were to happen and everyone were to get out alive? That wasn't likely, but one could always hope. Elle had no choice but to hope. These thoughts started to make her panic. She started sweating, and her breath started to pick up.

Was this a panic attack? She could barely remember the one she had at the farm, after the barn incident. She tried to breathe through her nose, as the gag in her mouth restricted her from doing it through her mouth. She took a deep breath, inhaling, and exhaling. She repeated this process a few times before her breathing had steadied.

Now all that remained was her sweat and her pounding heart. She watched as Gareth stood up from his spot in front of Bob, and stepped back, opening his notebook. He gave some sort of signal to the two men behind them. The man with the metal bat walked up behind the first man in line.

He had platinum blonde hair, pale skin, and a terrified look on his face. He faced straight in front of him, squeezing his eyes shut as the bat made contact with his head, knocking him out cold. The second man, the one with the knife, walked up behind the now unconscious man. He picked the man's head up before bringing the sharp knife to his neck. He sliced his neck open, no hesitation, before letting it drop and letting the blood pour.ย

Elle watch in horror as the blood ran down the metal trout, and slowly trickled down the drain. The metallic smell filled the air in the room.ย

The next man in line started freaking out and panicking, but it didn't last for too long before he too, was dead. This process happened two more times, more blood running down the drain. The tears had started running down Elle's face, knowing she was next.ย

She looked up at the tall ceiling, trying to stop the tears. But it was no help, they just kept falling. Gareth had started speaking to the two men behind her, making them stop. Elle didn't care what he was saying, because all the could hear was the voice inside her head telling her over and over again that she was about to die. She was actually about to get hit in the head and her throat cut open in front of some of the people she loved. She didn't even know if her brothers were alive, and now she never will. At that moment, she started to regret not thinking they were alive at all.

She turned to her right to face her group members. She made strong eye contact with Glenn, who sat right next to her. She sniffled, seeing that he started tearing up as well. "I love you." She whispered, though it was hard to say clearly with the gag in her mouth. She turned back to face forward, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone as she was about to die.

She squeezed her eyes shut, like the saw the first man in line do. That was when a giant explosion sounded, shaking the ground. Everyone in the line struggled to keep themselves up.

"What the hell was that?" The man with the baseball bat thought aloud.

"Stay here, I'm going to check it out." Gareth instructed.

"They're not going anywhere," he said, referring the the six people who sat in front of him.ย

"I said stay here." Gareth said before running out, not letting them argue anymore.ย

A few minutes had passed, and the men were starting to worry about Gareth and thought he had possibly died. They had started to talk amongst themselves, when Rick had broke free using the wooden stake he made earlier and killed both the men.ย

He had started to free everyone, starting with Elle and going down the line. Elle stood up, rubbing her wrists and taking the gag off. The loud sound of multiple machine guns being fired startled them all.ย

"Sounds like a damn war." Daryl announced.ย

"Rick, come on." Glenn said, signaling that Sarah was still tied up.

"Why don't we just leave her?" Elle spoke up. Sarah rolled her eyes at the girl's remark. Everyone else set it aside, but were probably thinking the same thing. Rick had started to lead everyone out of the building, hoping they could figure out what the hell was going on outside.ย

โ€โ€โ€

(i'm so lazy, it's not even funny. let's just fast forward to when the group gets back to the train car lol)

The sounds of walkers growling filled everyone's ears. The group had approached the train car labeled 'A', and Rick quickly opened the door. He turned for a moment to fire the machine gun he took. "Let's go! Fight to the fence!" He shouted before turning back to see Carl running towards him. They shared a quick embrace before running towards the fence, like Rick had instructed.

The group used the weapons they made to kill any, if not all the walkers that got in their way. Elle didn't have a weapon at the moment, because it was taken from her. When a walker came up to her, she shoved it into a wall, where a woman with short, dark hair stabbed it in the head. Elle told the woman, Tara, a small 'thank you' before they started running to the fence again.ย

It didn't take long to reach the fence, although it felt like it, and everyone had started to climb over. Their group was a bit larger now, so the task took a bit longer to accomplish. When it had come to be Elle's turn to climb the fence, Abraham stopped her for a second.ย

"Need help, little lady?" He asked. She hesitated before nodding. He cupped his hands together, like a small step. She placed her foot on his hands, letting him push her over, where Daryl caught her on the other side. He quickly set her down as Rick and Abraham made their way over the fence.

Rick quickly started making his way in the direction the bag of guns layed, buried in the ground.ย

"The hell are we still doing here?" Abraham asked, thinking out loud for everyone. Rick started digging.

"Guns. We're gonna use them. It's not over 'til they're all dead." He explained, now pulling the blue bag from the ground.

"The hell we are, that place is on fire,ย full of walkers." Rosita argued, crossing her arms.

"Rick, we got out. They'll either stay, or they'll run." Maggie agreed. Rick didn't respond, but instead starting handing weapons out. He handed Elle her semi automatic and she took hold of it with pride. As heavy as it was, she missed holding it.ย

Everyone was quiet as they waited for a weapon. Daryl didn't want a gun, he wanted his crossbow, but the people at Terminus took it. Instead, he sat against a tree, watching from a distance. But something caught his attention, someone caught his attention. The person caught everyone's attention when they saw Daryl run and hug the person. Carol.

"Did you do this?" Rick asked with a smile on his face as he approached the woman. She nodded before hugging him as well.ย

"You have to come with me." She insisted, happy tears filling her eyes. Nobody hesitated before following the woman.ย

The weaved through the trees, walking up a small hill to see a cabin. What was so special about a cabin? It was nowhere near big enough to fit everyone now that their group had grown. But that wasn't it. Getting closer to the door, a large figure was seen walking out. They were holding a small object, wrapped in a light pink blanket. When their identity was revealed, Elle's eyes widened. It was none other than Tyreese, holding a baby. Judith Grimes was alive after all.ย

Carl and Rick were amazed at the sight, dropping everything they were holding as the smiles grew on their faces. They had believed Judith was dead, and all the evidence had pointed towards the baby's unfortunate fate, but here she was. Alive and well. They ran up to Tyreese, taking ahold of the baby. Rick held the girl, kissing her head non stop. Rick and Carl had never been so happy in their lives.ย ย

Sasha laughed as she approached her brother, arms open. Elle smiled and watched as the two siblings embraced. She wished that could be her and her brothers, but she was happy for Sasha, and Rick and Carl. She was glad that they knew they'reย  loved ones status. Elle still didn't know about her brothers, but she could hope. She was really good at doing that. Maybe not lately, but in general. As she stood aside, watching the small reunions, she heard the cabin door close again. She looked over to see a boy with familiar blonde hair.

"Jack?" Her brother looked at her, relief washing over his face. "Holy shit." She mumbled under her breath. She dropped her gun on the ground and ran over to him. They quickly embraced each other in a hug, never wanting to let go. Elle laughed. "I thought you and Cody made it out, then I thought you didn't, but here you are." She sniffled as Jack set her back on the ground. "Where's Cody?" She asked, looking behind her older brother. She waited for him to make a dramatic entrance out of the cabin, but it never happened.ย

"Wait, I thought he was with you." Jack said confused.

"I went to get him, but he was gone and I couldn't find you anywhere." She shook her head.

"My daddy never told you?" Maggie asked, approaching the two. They both turned to her, shaking their heads. All eyes were on them now. "The medicine didn't react quick enough, the fever was too high for Cody's body, and-and.." she paused. "Cody didn't make it, I'm sorry." Maggie sighed.

It felt like someone had punched Elle in the chest and the stomach at the same time. Shock took over her body. She let her arms fall to her side, the words repeating themselves in her head. Cody didn't make it. Elle's brother had fallen into the hands of the cruel world. It was real, her brother's death, no matter how much she tried to convince herself otherwise, he was dead.ย

Did she ever really, truly, one hundred percent believe that he was alive?

Before Maggie told her, she knew the truth. She knew that he was dead, that Cody
