"Oi! Saiki, don't leave me here!" the girl screamed in a childish manner, the person in question completely ignored her and walked by, their expression cold, Saiki kusuo would like to say he was having a good day

but that would be an understatement, his day was already ruined when he saw their familiar (h/c), "Saiki are you ignoring me?" they pouted, only this time, their expression had changed into an innocent one, but Saiki knew that they were far from innocent

"Leave me alone L/n I'm not interested in your antics" the psychic responded in an uninterested manner "but Saiki!" the girl whined, their expression slowly developing into a mischievous grin "you know Saiki, wherever you go I'll follow with!", Saiki let out a tired sigh and continued on his way

How did he get himself in this situation?

it started a few weeks ago, when out of the blue he got a "secret" admirer, he wanted to be surprised really, but alas he wasn't, Saiki was quite bored of it happening again and again

For some infuriating reason, strange girls from his school harbored, romantic feelings for him? he wasn't quite sure, I mean he would love to be flustered and all but he really wasn't interested in girls or guys

He would rather lounge around and eat coffee jelly in his room and read his favorite manga or sometimes even play the occasional video game. He liked to be alone. He saw no problem with it, he hated attention so being alone was an easy feat for someone like him.

but a few people in his class made it nearly impossible for him to be even seconds alone, one of these people being a Y/n L/n, she was someone from the class under him if he were, to tell the truth, she was annoying, and for the first time in his life, God was merciful as they only shared one class together

that didn't stop l/n from annoying the hell out of Saiki, from talking to him about pointless things to sitting down next to him in class and not shutting up, soon afterward she somehow made friends with nendou, which would mean she would become friends with kaidou which would mean she would make friends with aren so on and so on

basically to Saiki l/n was annoying, but he supposed he could deal with it for the time being

Why?

Because she was rich, see Y/n's father owned one of the biggest dessert chains in Japan, it was also one of the largest dessert manufacturers in the world, Their most popular product was their infamous coffee jelly, they sell about 10 million per year and that was only one of their categories of sugary treats

So occasionally, Y/n would bring coffee jelly to school and give it to her friends for free most often times, Y/n would let Saiki have some from her, he understood that it was a heartless reason, but he couldn't help it, he would do anything for coffee jelly

so, Saiki would graciously be friends with Y/n L/n if it meant that he would get free coffee jelly so he stuck by her side, even if she annoyed him throughout the lessons and breaks

he thinks it began sometime after the winter break

At first, it used to be mild teasing, but as time went on Saiki knew that it developed into something more, but then it happened L/n had started catching feelings for Saiki, he instantly found out when one time in class when he heard your thoughts, another sign was when Saiki caught l/n looking at him across the classroom with- how would you describe it? a Romantic look on her face?

he supposed they were friends, but that's it just friends nothing less and certainly nothing more, it seemed like L/n didn't understand that

his thoughts came to a brief pause, where was he going again? oh right he was heading to the grocery store to get coffee jelly, and l/n was with him, he didn't want L/n to follow him

Saiki was already sorta annoyed, so how will he lose L/n?

"Saiki, are you ignoring me? c'mon don't play hard to get with me~"

"Go home L/n, I need to go somewhere" Saiki replied in a deadpan tone, there was no amusement in his face whatsoever, if someone were to look at his face they would think he was having the worst day of his life, and truth be told, he was

"Oo! Tell me where you're going!" L/n questioned with a playful smirk plastered on her face, she knew full well that Saiki was annoyed and it seemed like she was enjoying every little reaction Saiki gave her

"I'm going wherever you aren't"

L/n blinked for a second and before she knew it, Saiki began to pick up his pace, he started to quickly drift away from L/n

L/n quickly sprinted in the same direction that Saiki was going, in a matter of a few seconds L/n had already caught up with the pink-haired guy, and she was currently walking next to Saiki

"ouch! Saiki that hurt right here!" the girl mocked while pouting, her hand was pointed to her chest to about where her heart was, "and besides, didn't you hear what I said earlier?"

"wherever you're going I'm going too!"

there was a brief pause of awkwardness before Saiki spoke,

"Is that why you're following me to the grocery store?"
