?'s POV

"Sir, please follow us."

"You can't just walk around especially in this weather!"

I rolled my eyes and gripped my own hair before I turned around and ran to the men; the rescue team.

I was so desperate to hug her and warm her up with my body this instant.

We walked through the wind and snow, which were both growing stronger.

I constantly turned my head around hoping to catch a glimpse of her petite body.

But she never showed up.

"Look! There's a girl!"

My eyes widened when I heard one of the men shouted.

I turned to where his finger was pointing at and there was really a figure.

When she saw us, she broke down in relief.

The whole rescue team had ran to her but I hadn't.

I just froze.

This wasn't what I expected. I thought I would run to her.

I slowly approached her.

"Seo-"

I stared at her.

Chanel watch.

Gucci boots.

It's not her.

My heart sank once again.

Is this a joke? Why is it never her?

I couldn't stay calm anymore. My breathing became unstable and quick. My heart felt uneasy.

I stumbled and I pulled my beanie away.

The cool wind that blew my hair helped clear my mind.

I had never been this certain before.

She's someone special for me.

She occupies a place.

I can't get rid of her out of my mind.

I bit my bottom lip.

I need to find her.

She's probably waiting for me too.

"We are the rescue team. And we will safely bring you back to the campsite right now, okay?"

Won-Young struggled to nod her head.

"Do you know where is the other girl, called Kim Seohyun?"

Won-Young swiftly shook her head.

I frowned.

You could say I was overthinking but I was convinced that I was right.

When she's asked, she quickly blinked and closed her eyes.

I suppose she's trying to avoid making any eye contact with the man.

I was sure because, that look was just too familiar and I would never forget.

My eyes full of hatred, I walked pass her.

"W..where are you going?"

I turned to the weak voice from the girl.

"To find her." I didn't show any emotions.

"But she's not even there."

And that, was it.

I stepped forward.

"How do you know she's not?" I gritted my teeth with confusion written on my face.

She blinked and closed her eyes again.

"I just came from that side, and I didn't see her."

I scoffed, "still that good liar aren't you."

It's not a question anymore.

I spared her a glare and ran off to the unknown.

I heard the men from the rescue team kept on calling me back but I refused to listen.

It's not living anymore without her.

>>>

My lips trembled as I made another step into the thick snow.

I couldn't see clearly where I was heading to. I had just walked for around 5 minutes but the storm was never better.

I came to a sudden stop when I saw a faint light.

From a small wooden house.
