It was roughly 7:30pm on a Sunday. Kuroo laid down on his bed his head sinking down onto his silk pillowcase as he stared up at the ceiling gently flipping an old fidget spinner that he found between his index and middle finger.

His mind unconsciously trailed onto her again thinking about their last conversation. Why did he feel so envious about it?

Her speaking to another guy.

He turned towards his side and stared outside the window. It was roughly 7pm and the sun was already setting due to the winter season. He let out an airy sigh turning to lay on his back again as his eyes averted slowly to his right staring his charging phone on his bed.

He missed speaking to her.

Maybe he should just text her.

Kuroo thought to himself . His hand reached for his phone unlocking it with his Face ID.

He went on the green message icon, Y/N's contact being just under Oikawa's he pressed it their previous message being just almost two weeks ago.

You walked out of the train station. Static by Steve Lacy playing loudly as you took off your AirPods the music pausing automatically while you put your them back into its case.

You eyed Kuroo's figure at the end of the sidewalk causing you to feel nervous and shy again as his siren eyes met yours. It felt like ages since you last saw him.

A smile creeped up his soft lips while he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his north face puffer jacket in black.

You chewed on your inner cheek and fiddled with your nails as your black Ugg boots scraped against the concrete floor while you slowly walked up to him.

"What's up?" Kuroo greeted as you finally approached his tall figure.

"Hi," you simply uttered staring up at him and giving him a small genuine smile.

"We're matching," you stated a grin creeping up your face as you played with the strings of your north face puffer jacket also in black.

"It's cute, am I wrong?" He asked grinning.

"This is the second time Kuroo, now everyone's gonna think we're a couple...again," you emphasised in a joking manner playfully rolling your eyes causing Kuroo to let out a scoff as he rolled his eyes too.

"Sooo," he cleared his throat pulling his black cap down further down his eyebrows as a shadow appeared just over his eyes.

"What do you wanna do?"

"I dunno," you shrugged staring around the place witnessing the street lights illuminating the dark place.

"Have you eaten?" He asked tilting his head to the side slightly gazing at your eyes as you averted them.

"Yeah, I ate something before I left," you murmured fiddling with your nails as you eyed the busy street across from you guys.

"Oh, okay," Kuroo nodded slightly.

"But it's cold, I'm craving some hot chocolate," you spoke pointing your chin towards the small Starbucks at the other end of the street.

"I'll pay," Kuroo insisted taking his phone out to pay with his Apple Pay after the two of you just ordered your drinks.

"Thank you," you uttered licking your lips before taking a sip of your hot chocolate while Kuroo picked up his red velvet Frappuccino.

"No worries," he uttered while the both of you walked out.

You exhaled a sigh eyeing the cold fog of air which just escaped from your lips. It was kind of awkward but also comfortable due to Kuroo's talkative demeanour. It wasn't like you didn't want to speak to him because you really did it's just that you didn't know what to say.

The both of you walked in silence entering a park which had street lanterns going all the way down the wide pathway. You looked at the people jogging out of the park before focusing your attention ahead of you.

"So how's school?" Kuroo started chewing onto his straw averting his eyes slightly to look at you while waiting for your response.

"...it's stressful," you answered simply.

"You know with exams and shit. I feel like I can't breathe at times because they make it seem like it's a big deal. And since I go to shiratowizawa, it's kinda like I have to do my best" You rambled on playing with the end of your cup.

"Same here. It's kinda hard balancing the two. Like should I just forget everything and focus on volleyball or just focus on school and getting my grades up?" Kuroo mentioned as you turned to look at him.

"It depends. Do you see volleyball as a hobby or something you want to pursue?" you rhetorically asked as Kuroo nodded slightly pursing his lips together.

His black airforces slowly walked against the stamped concrete while he pouted his lips to the side building up the courage to ask the question he's been meaning to ask.

"So..." he trailed off as you slowly drank your beverage.

"Are you still speaking to Terushima?" He asked confidently keeping his eyes ahead of him and avoiding eye contact.

You slowly moved your cup of hot chocolate away from your lips smiling as you shook your head slightly.

"Are you?" Kuroo raised a brow this time looking at you.

"I stopped speaking to him like almost two weeks ago," you slightly furrowed your brows before relaxing them.

"If you don't mind me asking, why?"

"He's not someone that I wanna take serious. And we all know why he asked for my number anyway. But I don't really care he's not the person that I like," you uttered looking into Kuroo's eyes.

"Good," Kuroo huffed flaring his nose slightly in which you thought was cute.

"Pardon me?" You raised a brow.

"I didn't like the fact that you were speaking to Terushima anyways," he shrugged as you laughed lightly.

"Because I shouldn't speak to any other guys other than you right?" You uttered the corner of your lips curving upwards into a smile.

"Yes, and also you deserve someone that'll treat you like the sweet girl you are," he admitted as you stared down feeling flustered as you blushed.

"What?" Kuroo spoke up noticing that you were silent.

"Nothinggg," you dragged out quietly as you desperately tried to hide your smile.

Kuroo let out a soft hum throwing his medium Frappuccino into the recycling bin that was near the park bench. You decided to take a seat grasping your warm hot chocolate between your hands as they heated up.

"So are we back to speaking again?" He asked taking a seat next to you.

"I'm speaking to you now am I not? Even though you left me on seen the last we spoke. I'm not gonna ask you why but just so you know it kinda made me feel like shit," you admitted.

"How about you apologise for texting another guy while you're on FaceTime with another guy," Kuroo initiated as slightly rolled your eyes.

"Picture this, me texting another girl while I'm on FaceTime with you also ignoring you on top of that," Kuroo seriously spoke as you tilted your head to look at him.

"Kuroo, I'm so so sorry for doing that, I would be so mad too if was in your shoes," you apologised as Kuroo nodded boastfully folding his arms.

"And I'm sorry for leaving you on read, I wouldn't like it if you did that to me either," Kuroo apologised as you nodded smiling slightly.

"So we're cool," you uttered.

"...what about the kiss?" He averted his eyes slightly as his cheeks tinted a soft colour of rose.

"You were being for real?" You raised both brows.

"Nah I was being for fake," He replied sarcastically causing you to playfully roll your eyes.

"It's just that sometimes I think you're joking almost 100% of the time," you uttered quietly.

"I'm not joking this time," he spoke with a straight face and a serious tone making it hard for you to look at him.

"Unless you don't want to, I ain't forcing you or anything," he shrugged turning to face forward gently tapping his fingers against his checkered pyjama pants.

"Okay," you whispered placing your hot chocolate to the side turning to face him fully.

You slowly inched closer to him placing your hand on his lap so that you could balance yourself while staring at him at the same time.

Kuroo kept a calm and composed expression even though his whole body was tensing up due to your touch.

"Here," you pointed at his cheek.

"Or over there?" You placed your index finger onto his lips.

Kuroo slowly turned his head to stare at you. You found yourself getting lost into his captivating eyes.

"There," he responded.

You let out a soft hum moving your face closer to the point where your noses was a hair away from touching one another's.

You softly kissed his lips a soft sound escaping as you pulled away. Kuroo opened his eyes smiling causing you to look away before he spoke up.

"I guess we're cool now,"
