Kuroo put down the pool stick besides Tendo who was sat drunk on the couch after losing another round of beer pong.

He had roughly been here for almost two hours now and he's still haven't seen Y/N anywhere or at least received a text message from her.ย  ย

He sat down on the couch next to Kenma with a sigh as he took out his phone from the pocket of his hoodie. He really wanted text her but didn't want to sound desperate at the same time.

His thumb clicked on your contact as it hovered over the text she sent him. How could she ask such as question out of the blue.

What do you mean 'do you like me' he pondered to himself.

And the worse part is he left her on read which was such an idiot thing to do because she obviously would've thought that he liked her.

In which he did but was too afraid to admit it.

"I'm gonna go upstairs to the garden it's too stuffy in here." Kuroo mumbled as he got up from his seat with Kenma nodding.

Kuroo exited the basement and walked through the kitchen which had a huge terrace outside which led to the garden.

He walked outside staring around the place. It was dark outside with fairy lights hanging across all over the place.

Certain people were swimming in the pool and others were in the hot tub making out making Kuroo grimace to himself.

He saw Akaashi and Bokuto talking to eachother as he slowly approached them with Bokuto putting his arm around Kuroo pulling him closer to him.

"I heard a rumour, that two people had already seen Y/N and actually had a conversation with her." Bokuto said smugly feeling his shoulders tense up.

"Well it's basically four cause we saw her too." Akaashi said before he downed his drink.

"Did you not check the group chat?" Bokuto asked.

"What the fuck." Kuroo muttered to them.

"This is literally so unfair." He mumbled in irritation.

"And if Kageyama is one of them, I'm gonna rip my hair out." Kuroo said as he smacked his teeth.

"Yep, Kageyama is most definitely not one of them." Akaashi pursed his lips together nodding his head.

"Bro, honestly what's taking you so long call her." Bokuto ushered him nudging him with his elbow.

"I can't." Kuroo shook his head.

"What do you mean you can't just do it." Akaashi said in a mocking.

"I would if I could but I literally can't right now." Kuroo said staring at his phone.

"Y'all got in a fight?" Akaashi asked leaning on his side and shaking his head.

"It's...never mind." He paused his sentence as Bokuto groaned dramatically.

"Where did you even see her?" Kuroo asked.

"So we were walking down the sidewalk other side. Then we see someone shouting Tendo's name. Me and Akaashi looked to the right of us to see Tendo behind two girls." Bokuto looked at Akaashi as he nodded.

"So we thought either one of them was Y/Nโ€”"

"Wait was she wearing like cropped black shirt with ripped jeans?!" Kuroo asked slightly raising his voice.

"Yeah and those converse with the hearts." Akaashi nodded.

"I'm telling you that one was not Y/N." Bokuto said shaking his head

"...It is Y/N." Kuroo looked at him in amazement.

"Yeah Bokuto run me my fucking money." Akaashi held his hands out. "It either that or you're buying me food." He said as Bokuto swore under his breath reaching for his back pocket.

"Wow I can't believe we actually saw Y/N, I never expected her to look like that." Akaashi blew a raspberry.

"How does she look like? Is she pretty?" Kuroo asked.

"Bro." Akaashi touched his shoulder.

"More than pretty." He said quietly.

"See, you had your chance Akaashi but you had to move like you're all that." Bokuto shrugged.

"Bro just shut up, that doesn't mean I wanna date her." Akaashi rolled his eyes.

"But that's her friend over there, so if you want to ask her where Y/N is then go ahead." Bokuto pointed at the girl who was standing in front of Oikawa having a conversation with him.

"Okay," He said confidently as he picked up a red cup drinking from it and biting on the ends of the cup as he approached Oikawa from behind.

Oikawa wasn't looking where he was going and started walking bumping into Kuroo as he spilt his drink on himself.

"Fuck man." Kuroo swore at him.

"Yo, my bad bro but next time move out of the way." Oikawa shouted as Kuroo dropped the cup wiping his shirt.

"Next time watch where you're fucking going." Kuroo retaliated staring down at his shirt.

"Kuroo if you're that angered, it's okay I'll buy you a new one." Oikawa chuckled touching his shirt.

"You damn fucking right you are." He mumbled.

"Okay because of that I'm not buying you shit." Oikawa smacked his teeth and rolled his eyes.

"Bro just stop talking to me." Kuroo murmured absolutely angered that Oikawa spilt drink over his expensive hoodie.

"Wait are you Kuroo?" The girl behind Oikawa asked pointing at him as he stared at her nodding his head.

"Like Y/N's Kuroo?" She said trying to confirm as Kuroo nodded.

"Mhm." He nodded. "And you're Amai." He said as she smiled nodding.

"Oh damn, hi how are you?" She waved excitedly

"I'm good, you?" He smiled back.

"You guys know each other?" Oikawa looked between the both of them as Kuroo stared at him his expression darkening.

"Ugh Oikawa you're so slow, anywaysโ€”" Amai murmured.

"Speaking of Y/N where is she I completely forgot that she was here." Oikawa searched around the garden.

"I was gonna ask the same thing." Kuroo said staring at Amai.

"I don't know where she is, I think she went looking for you too." Amai shrugged as she searched her purse.

"I can tell her to come out now." Amai said as she took out her phone.

"I can't lie I really need to clean this shirt, it's gonna stain." Kuroo mentioned.

"That's fine, I was gonna call her to come anyways." Amai said as she called Y/N.

"Kuroo I'll be the great friend that I am and help you clean." Oikawa smiled putting his arm around Kuroo.

"We'll be back." He looked at Amai as he nodded.

"Ew get off me." Amai heard Kuroo say to him as they walked off.

"Okay," Oikawa cleared his throat as they walked into the kitchen going into the living room.

"Oikawa tips 101 on how to get bitches." He started as Kuroo laughed shaking his head.

"Tip number one fix up that ugly face of yours others Y/N will think that's you're ugly in realโ€”"

"You just poured alcohol on my best shirt." Kuroo gave him a cold expression cutting him off.

You ended the call with Amai before speaking up.

"Kenma I'm going up to the garden you wanna come?" You asked standing up and pulling down on your jeans as you leaned down on one leg.

"Hmm..." Kenma replied staring around the place seeing a bunch of people playing pool, bear pong and smoking weed.

"I need some air." He stood up meeting your eyes as you gave him a nod.

You sat down again tying up your shoe laces quickly as you got up not knowing that your phone slipped out of your pocket.

"Aight let's go then." You said turning around to face the door as Kenma turned off his phone putting it in his back pocket as he slowly walked behind you.

You walked up the steps that lead outside the basement hearing Kenma's soft steps from behind you.

"I still can't believe you're actually human you know." Kenma spoke from behind you and you scoffed loudly rolling your eyes.

"This is the third time I'm hearing this today." You replied as you opened the door walking back into the living room.

You looked around in search of the garden as Kenma stood in front of you.

"It's this way." He mumbled walking ahead as you nodded walking besides him.

"Do you think Kuroo's gonna be outside?" You asked in a jitter as you played with your nails.

You were becoming so nervous to the point where you wanted to go home and forget about everything.

As easier as it was said done, you never really thought back to reality and how it really was going to be.

"Most probably." Kenma dimly replied as he shook his head a little removing his hair from his face.

"Kenma I feel like I can't breathe." You said as you sighed deeply feeling your heart racing like a ticking bomb that was about to explode.

"Y/N." Kenma said turning around to look at you noticing your flushed face.

"It's okay if you don't feel like you're ready to do it you know." Kenma said truthfully as you listened.

"But I feel like I should." You said arrogantly shaking your head.

"That's up to you I can't tell you what to do." Kenma shrugged as you rolled your eyes.

"Bro I'm in a dilemma right now, you're supposed to be making me feel better not leaving me indecisive." You said playfully smacking his arm.

"Okay fine," Kenma said fed up of your behaviour.

"You've got this, go break a leg." He said as you laughed covering your mouth.

"You're actually so useless when it comes to these type of stuff, I wonder how Kuroo handles it when he's in times of need." You said as you both walked outside standing on the terrace.

"Okay." You sighed.

"Do I look fine? Is there anything on my face?" You asked dusting off your shirt before looking at Kenma to see him staring at you.

"So?" You asked irritatedly because Kenma was taking long to reply

Kenma chuckled before replying. "You look fine."

You sighed looking ahead. "Okay, let's go."

You guys entered the garden staring around the place as you turned around in search for Amai. Kenma noticed Akaashi and Bokuto and called out to them.

"Guys." He raised his voice a bit ushering them to come over to them as you turned around seeing Akaashi and Bokuto approaching you guys.

"Hi guys." You waved at them excitedly as they looked at you in surprise.

"It's really you!" Bokuto shouted.

"Bro now that I've seen you close up, I don't know why but I dead ass remember you." Bokuto said snapping his fingers as you pondered to yourself.

"Bokuto are you drunk?" You asked him laughing a little. "I think I'd recognise that silver hair if we did see each other."You said with Bokuto still in his thoughts before you looked at Akaashi.

"Anyways, how are you guys I can't believe I'm speaking to you guys in real life." You said giddily as Akaashi smiled a little.

"She's so different in real life right?" Kenma said as they all agreed with you rolling your eyes.

"This is literally giving maze runner cause did you not see Kuroo when you were coming outside?" Akaashi asked you as you gasped.

"You're lying!" You gasped.

"He literally just left with Oikawa." Amai said as she walked up from behind you.

"You better go look for your mans." He said in a sassy voice as you rolled your eyes.

"Yeah it's too late now." Tendo said walking up to you guys putting his arm around Bokuto and Akaashi drunkly.

"What do you mean?" Kenma asked.

"You guys living under a rock or what? The party got locked off." Tendo said tiredly as you looked around seeing people coming out of the pools and hot tubs.

"What? Why?!" You asked him.

"Apparently police came cause we were making so much noise and shit, what do you expect from a rich neighbourhood." Tendo sighed leaning his head down.

"Are you okay?" Amai asked ruffling his hair as he gave her a thumbs up.

"Never drinking in my life again."

"Nah maybe this is a sign from god." You said blowing a raspberry as you guys exited the garden walking through the kitchen.

"At this point y'all should just plan a date together." Kenma suggested.

"You think so?" You looked back at him as he nodded.

"Cause we all basically saw you it's not fair on him." Bokuto laughed as you guys walked outside the house seeing Iwaizumi and Kageyama.

"This is why you can't take broke people anywhere they got the party locked off." Kageyama huffed as leaning on his side.

"Kags you're meant to be at home right now, mommy's worried." Bokuto teased.

"Shut up." He retaliated.

"It's literally 12 am why are you out at your young age?" Iwaizumi asked as you guys began walking.

"Why are you not revising for your finals?" Kageyama asked as Iwaizumi went silent.

"Oh, thought so."

"This guy chats so much shit." You heard Iwaizumi mumble from under his breath.

"Where's Kiyoko?" You asked them.

"Let me call her." You murmured reaching for your back pocket realising that your phone wasn't there.

It was as if your heart dropped to your stomach as your searched everywhere in your body feeling emptiness in your pockets.

"What's wrong?" Akaashi noticed your expression.

"My phone oh my god." You searched yourself again hoping that your phone would appear right there but it didn't.

"I swear you brought it with you." Kenma walked up to you checking his pockets as you nodded.

"I thought I did." Your breathing a little.

"Oh my god." You ran your hands through your hair in despair.

"Hold on I'll call it, hopefully someone picks up." Amai said calling your phone as she gave it to you.

You held it against your ear as the call connected after a few rings.

"Hello." You spoke up.
