~(insert name)'s pov~

I wake up by the sound of notifications buzzing from my phone. I straiten up and check my phone to see what the notifications were about.
"Oh just YT notifications.." You say with a tone disbelief. All the friends you used to have had already moved on with their lives with dreams, new connections, and heck even started families. You on the other hand have a small apartment, an okay paying job, and an annoying cat who is at the moment scratching your bed sheets which you just realized. "Hey fluffs could you cut that out, I just had those washe-

FLUFFLES MOCHI THE 1ST WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT TOUCHING MY SOCKS?!" "That's it c'mere you-"

*You grab the black cat with white whiskers and start tickling him* "This is what you get for not listening to me!!" {After a couple of seconds of tickling you stopped and started to gently pat snuffles} Who am I kidding trying to compare my life with others, I'm already having it peaceful and I'm not so lonely anyways with this little rascal living with me. *You patted the chin of the cat in which it replied with a purr* *You grab your phone* Hm what time is it.-" "OH SHOOT I only have 8 minutes to prepare-!"

*You abruptly drop snuffles on your bed (he made a hiss on which you ignore) and start to hurry and get everything ready for work* "There I go again getting lost in my own thoughts ugh.." You mumble to yourself. As you grab the keys of the apartment then you tell Snuffles "Snuffs your food's ready in respective order." *you point at the kitchen* "I'll be back by 4:00 so you better stay away from my socks!" Speaking of socks I should go and buy some during my break.. If only he didn't have an addiction of ripping apart my socks.. You thought while you hurry towards the cafe. You enter the place and go straight to the staffs room.

"Noelle! I'm sorry for coming late, thank you for covering me!" *you pant as you open your locker* Noelle had always helped you when you're late, in fact she's always employee of the week because of her hard working and good natured personality. "There's no need to apologise! I'm always happy to help." *she hands you a spare hair tie since you left yours*

"You know you shouldn't be too kind with everyone, not everyone can be friendly.." You said with a tone of worry, and this reminded you that you still have your friend Noelle whom you've met at your first day here, things really weren't so lonely after all. "Yes that may be true but at least you're here to always accompany me if that happens." You both share a smile together. *you bumped your shoulder against Noelle's and say* "You betccha! But I won't be here forever so you better take good care of yourself workaholic!" Noelle replies with a chuckle* "I will I will no need to worry!" She added.

You both come out of the staff room together and
go do your duties. You and Noelle were both waitresses so you'd help each other out when you get the time. Business was normal today, customers would come buy their orders and sit or go. The place isn't always full but it was just the right amount. Then you hear the bell on the door ring a person with a hood and a mask rushed in and took a seat. Since it seems the other waiters occupied all the other orders you went straight to them.

"Hello, Welcome to starsnatch cafe! May I take your order?" You took a good look at the hooded person and it seemed to be a man with golden catlike eyes. He was panting and sweating, he seemed to have ran a lot. "Um, would you like a glass of water?" He looked just like you when you came rushing to this cafe. *He just nods and continues to try to catch his breath* You hurry and grab a glass of water and gave it to him. *he immediately drinks it* "...Thank you.." He had a nice voice you thought, and he looked relieved so you couldn't help but smile to see he calmed down. "Well you shouldn't go running so much like that! I've learned that myself." He simply looks at you. Ah crap was I too weird? What am I doing here babbling when I'm supposed to be working?

"Well just tell me if you've made up your mind! Aahah I'll just go and take other orders-" *He hands you a card* *Without thinking you took it* It seemed to be his number.. "You can talk to me if you need anything." *He stands up and leaves but before doing so-* "Thanks for helping me.." He says making it leave a dramatic effect. {He left after that} I was there stunned for a couple of minutes until my co-worker told me to continue working. Well that was odd.. But I can't help but think that we might become good friends.
