You remembered to name the number of the hooded man who is known as Xiao in your contacts. Then you place your phone back on the desk and got ready for bed. "Snuffs you're taking all the space." The black cat seemed to already be fast asleep. You moved Snuffles on the side of the bed and laid on your side. What could Noelle want to talk about so suddenly? She's usually very straightforward about everything. You questioned as your eyes drooped until you were also fast asleep.

{The Next Day}

I went to Noelle's apartment after my shift as instructed and rang the doorbell. I heard hurried footsteps coming to the door and was greeted by a nervous looking Noelle. "(Insert name), you came! Come inside, make yourself at home." You entered the apartment and took a seat on the couch. "Noelle you seem to be troubled. I don't want to sound nosy but did something happen?" Your curiosity went rushing out the moment you sat. "I'm sorry I should've told you before hand then telling you to meet here so suddenly.." She was hesitant to continue her next sentence so you quickly assure her. "No I'm sorry- I shouldn't force you either." She gave you a gentle smile and continued on. "Well you see I got invited to a reunion by a family from a far branch.. They're quite big in reputation. We're supposed to bring companions and you were the only one who came to mind." Big in title.. Wait a second, this wasn't the first time Noelle invited you to an occasion hosted by someone big in reputation.

"Is this invitation perhaps from Sir Zhongli?" You told your hunch to Noelle. "You're correct. I invited you last time since you were the only one I could trust so I thought of inviting you again.." You then began to recall the last time you were invited, it was a birthday party hosted by him as well. The people present were connections Sir Zhongli has. From bandmates, colleagues, family of different branches, and even prestigious celebrities well known in their music talents. Now how in the world were you supposed to fit in, in such a 'crowded' place like that?! "*sigh* I'm very sorry (Insert name) for dragging you into this.." She sat down next to you. "I was afraid of getting embarrassed by my low profile that I ended up tagging you along with my burdens as well.." Noelle exasperated. "Noelle there's nothing you should be sorry for. We haven't even went there yet." You comforted her.

In the end you decided to agree to come a long as a companion. Noelle didn't have people who were exactly trustworthy enough to bring along to such a huge occasion so you didn't have much of a choice. "When will it be held anyways?" Noelle replied with a look of realization. "O-oh dear! It's later this evening! That should've been the first thing I've told you!" She immediately stood up. "I've only received the invitation last night before I messaged you. It's later 6:00 pm! I should escort you back so that you could prepare." I reply with a nod and both you and Noelle hurried out the door.

{Later that evening}

Good thing I still had some formal clothes at the back of my closet. I would've been severely underdressed or I'd have to borrow Noelle's clothes since I'm saving up money for rent. I also gave Snuffs his dinner before leaving but I just hope he'll be alright by himself. You thought as you were sitting on the seat beside Noelle while she drives. You were nervous but c'mon it's just a reunion party nothing should go wrong right? You just needed to stay in the sidelines and you'll be just fine. "We're here (Insert name)!" The car stopped and you stepped out to be blinded by the flashy mansion right in front of you, it practically amazed you to the point all of Noelle and your worries vanished instantly. This was the place alright. Despite on how magnificent the outside looked; it could never compete with the inside. It looked as if it was pulled out from a movie. A huge hallway filled with well decorated tables and chairs, stunning walls and ceiling along with a glimmering chandelier, and rooms leading to different places like a bar, theatre, beautiful gardens and etc. . But what stood out the most to you was the long table decorated with the finest delicacies. You wanted to pass out just by looking at it.

You and Noelle took a seat at an empty table and admired your surroundings. "It's impressive on how it's more extravagant than the last time you invited me-." You told Noelle in awe. "I agree. Madame Ningguang also helped with the expenses and arrangements after all." "Wait Madame Ningguang of the Qixing and L/YUE?" Noelle answered with a nod. Madame Ningguang was the greatest businesswoman known all over Teyvat, and besides of all the countless business deals she's had; She also holds immaculate music talent as the lead of a T-Pop girlband L/YUE. She attended the last party as well but you could barely catch a glimpse of her by the crowd of business people that were surrounding her. "Noelle! Bestie long time no see!" A girl with brunette colored hair greeted Noelle as she approached us.

"Amber, it's nice to see you again! How have you been?" Noelle greeted back. "I've been doing well! I was looking for you since the rest of the favonius gang (Police Force of Favonius was where Amber, Noelle and the others used to work at; Amber is currently a staff member of 4nemo) are meeting up at one of the rooms here since we were all invited! You should come and join us!" Noelle looked at you which made Amber realize you were also sitting at the table. "Oh I'm sorry! I tend to get too excited sometimes-.." "It's alright." You reassure the apologizing Brunette. "You should go meet up with them Noelle. I wanna explore around this place anyways. You don't need to worry about me, I'll be able to do just fine by myself." You encouraged Noelle since she's been doing nothing but work these past few months. She just needed time to slack off and have fun every once in a while.

"Uh but-." "No buts." You replied before letting Noelle finish her sentence. "Alright I'll join Amber but text me if you need any help or you wanna go home or—." "C'mon Noelle they're already playing games right now! If you want to find us it's the second room in the left hallway named favonius meet up! Thanks for letting Noelle come!" You hear Amber say while you bid them a " See you later!" Before they disappeared within the crowd.

You took a good look at the table with a banquet of food and caught sight of (insert favorite food.). You didn't hesitate to stand up and grab a plate. You were picking up pretty much anything that fit on your plate and went back to your seat. You were just eating peacefully before a woman with short hair came stomping towards you. "This was my table first you know!" The woman complained which was disturbing your precious mealtime. "Ma'am there are loads of empty tables in this hallway if you're not aware and this is also already reserved by me and my friend." You point at the name stands that were on the table. She read the names and looked back at me. "O-oh wait this is the wrong table.." She mumbled then walked off like someone threatened her. Is this what people call "karens".. But I think she looked scared for a second there.. You thought as you continued eating. "Hello (insert name)." There was now an ashy blonde haired man in front of you on which you recognized as an old colleague.

"Albedo?! Damn how long has it been?" You asked dumbstruck. "9 years to be exact." Albedo chuckles because of your reaction. "You can take a seat." You told him and he proceeded to do so. "How've you been? Aren't you supposed to be in the favonius meet up?" You asked as you finish the food on your plate. "Quite alright. And you know I'm not a fan of crowded places." "You say that but you're in a crowded place right now." You point out. "You're not wrong there but there's a difference in atmosphere here." He replied. Even when we've already graduated high school he's still as reserved as ever, Albedo didn't seem to change much since these past few years. Quite the Keideprinz (chalk prince) he is. You thought before he said: "Something seems to be on your mind. Tell me is my face really so handsome for you to be admiring it for so long?" He said amusingly. You blush pink by this accusation.

"Now you shouldn't be assuming things!" You exasperated. He chuckles once more by your reaction. His cheeky side also remained as well it seems. Well he's not wrong, he does have quite the looks. "How about you (Insert name). How have you been?" Albedo asked in a tone of curiosity. "Decent i'd say. I work as a waitress in Starsnatch Cafe and Cattails' Maid Cafe." You replied. "I went to Starsnatch Cafe last Monday but I didn't see you so it wasn't in your schedule then?" Albedo guesses correctly. "You're right. If you want I could send you my schedule?" "I'd be delighted." He said in agreement and you both exchange numbers. "There, I've sent it to you." You said in satisfaction. "I'll be sure to stop by when I get the time." He told you sincerely. "Oh right I forgot to ask. Where did you start working ever since the favonius force disbanded?" He gave you a look that indicated he remembered something. "I work as DCKZ's composer. And I came looking for you since they wanted me to escort you to their lounge." He told you which also made you realize something. "Isn't that the band Sir Zhongli formed? DCKZ the rival band of 4nemo right?"  You asked in a tone of confusion. "That also reminded me. 4nemo were the ones who suggested it first." He replied coolly.

"But why??" "I am as clueless as you are (Insert name). But it's your choice if you want to come or not." Albedo said curiously. You already have ties with IBB and 4nemo, and now DCKZ? Your life really became quite the roller coaster ever since you met him. You open your phone and started messaging someone while Albedo waits patiently. Once you've finished you ask Albedo: "I'm going with you since I have nothing else to do. This better not be anything shady Keideprinz.." You told Albedo in a tone of suspicion. "You have nothing to worry about. And haven't I told you not to call me such a ridiculous nickname in the past?" He reassured you and gave you a small giggle. "No can do Keideprinz, I don't make the rule here." You and Albedo both share a laugh while he escorts you to the lounge where DCKZ and 4nemo are at.
