Kurumi and my mother had been talking the whole day to the point where I stayed at Saiki's house past midnight.

"Oh my god, I didn't notice the time! Honey, we're going home!" my mom shouted.

Saiki came downstairs, holding my waist to help me walk.

Okay, I know that sounds weird, but I swear that isn't what it looks like. I ended up falling asleep because it was 4AM. I'm used to sleeping early due to school, so I get tired a lot faster.

"Did she fall asleep?" my mother asked the pink-haired psychic.

Saiki simply nodded his head up and down, looking down at my sleeping figure.

"Oh... I can help her walk now. Goodnight, you guys." my mother smiled, grabbing onto my waist.

"Goodnight! See you tomorrow?" Kurumi asked, hoping my mother will accept.

"Of course! Maybe Saiki and Y/n can go to the mall together while we go out to eat. It's Friday tomorrow anyway."

"Yes, I would love that. See you tomorrow!" Kurumi happily waved.

And with that, my mom and I left.

'I have to hang out with her again?' Saiki groaned.

"Yes, Ku! You should really hang out with your friends more often."

'Yare yare.'

...

I woke up with Saiki on top of me.

"What are you doing, Saiki?!" I exclaimed, pushing him off.

'You're finally awake.' he got on both of his feet.

"Yes? What's going on?" I question, looking around my room scared.

'You're going to be late. School starts in ten minutes.'

"What?!" I sprint out of bed and rush into the bathroom. I brush my teeth and fix my hair. I rushed back into my room and got into my uniform.

I was about to undress until I realized that Saiki was still in my room.

"Hey, can you-" I turn back to see him gone.

Then I heard the door close— probably Saiki.

Now with him gone, I quickly undressed and got into my uniform. I walked over to the door and opened it, revealing Saiki on the other side.

"Do you think I'll have time to eat?" I asked, rushing to the kitchen.

Saiki looked down at his watch and nodded, 'Sure, we have five minutes left still.'

"I guess I'll just have a coffee jelly." I shrugged, opening the fridge and grabbing the jelly out.

Saiki quietly gasped, staring at the treat. I took notice and giggled, grabbing another jelly for him.

"Here."

'Thank you.' he mumbled, snatching the jelly from my hands.

We soon finished our coffee jellies and started walking to school.

"I forgot to ask, but uh.. why are you walking with me to school? I never thought you would do this, knowing you."

'My mom made me so we can create a 'bond'. Which isn't going to happen by the way.'

"Yes because we already have a bond." I wrap my arm around Saiki and he quickly moves away once again. I sigh and put my arm back down, a bit hurt.

'Don't touch me.'

"Okay, fine."

I've never met anyone like this kid. But it sure is interesting, and pretty fun.

...

We finally made it to school. Saiki and I headed to our first period so we- well, I, said goodbye to him.

As soon as I sat down at my desk, someone walked up to me.

"Hello, L/n."

I look up, seeing the glowing bluenette.

"Oh, hey... what's your name again? I'm sorry, I forgot."

'HUH?! SHE DOESN'T KNOW MY NAME? WHAT THE HELL.'

I didn't forget, it's just funny seeing you get pissed.

"Oh! I'm Teruhashi Kokomi!" she smiled, her right eye twitching slightly.

"Oh yeah, Teruhashi! Do you need to talk to me about something?" I inquired, tilting my head.

'Maybe I shouldn't ask...'

It's about Saiki I bet.

"Oh uh.. no! I don't need to talk to you about anything! Just came to say hi."

"Oh, alright." I nodded, grabbing out a pencil and finishing my assignment.

She didn't say anything about Saiki in her mind, but I'm sure it's about that.

...

The bell finally rang. I turned in my assignment and was about to leave until someone stopped
me.

"Wait!" a voice called out, catching my attention.

I look back to see Teruhashi again. "Yes?"

"I uh... I've noticed that you and Saiki are uh..." she trailed off, looking down to the ground.

"Saiki and I are..?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"You guys are close. Are you guys like- you know... dating?" she finally choked out her question.

I couldn't help but to burst out laughing at the stupid question. "What?"

She soon felt embarrassed due to my laughter and began to mumble, "Well.."

"No, we're not dating. We just started talking yesterday. Do you really think I catch feelings that fast? Plus, I don't plan on dating him whatsoever."

'Yes!' she cheered in her head, internally smirking.

"Oh, alright! Sorry for asking." Terhuashi smiled, sighing in contentment silently.

I was going to turn around until I got a question in mind. I already knew the answer to this, but I'd like to see what she says.

"Why do you ask? Do you like him or something?" I smirked, looking at her face intently.

Her face quickly turned red, shaking her head no and moving her hands in front of her.

'Oh god, did she find out?! Uh, I'll just lie!'

"Of course not!"

I nodded. "Alright then. Let's head to class before we're late."

She nodded her head, walking out of the classroom with me. She was heading in the same direction and the silence between us was super awkward.

All she was thinking about was Saiki and how I'm in the way of them becoming a couple or whatever. Not going to lie, this got me pissed. I don't like Saiki in that way at all, I just feel bad because she won't ever leave him alone. Plus, she's making me look bad in her mind and all I want is to just get along.

"Oh, my class is right there!" Teruhashi pointed to her left. I nodded my head and continued my way to class.

'Hey.' a voice suddenly said, making me jump.

"AH!" I flinched, covering my face. Saiki sighed and walked over to me.

'It's just me.'

"Oh, heh. What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be in class?"

'Skipping. I can't cook again. I might end up with those two morons.'

"Ah.. and who are those 'two morons'?" I giggled, placing my hand on my hip.

'Kaidou and Hairo.'

I laughed and looked around the empty hall. The bell rang, indicating that the class has started.

'Anyway, care to join me?' Saiki asked.

"How could I decline the offer? I hate math."
