Simon smirked, he shared a funny look with Janet who in reciprocal held her mobile camera on, without Rae being able to notice that.

'Wait.' Rae said, inching closer to them. 'I hate that look, Sim.' She shook her head.

Alex and Imane chuckled, while Alex feigned annoyance. 'What look?' He asked innocently.

Rae narrowed her gaze, James watching her intently. 'I feel a storm coming up.'

'Oh Rae.' Simon shrugged, while Rae sipped wine, 'Don't be dramatic.' He said, locking eyes with her. 'All you have to do for the dare is kiss James here.'

Where Imane and Alex were shocked, their mouths ajar, Janet directing her phone to Rae while hiding a giggle and James froze, blankly staring at Rae who choked on her wine and coughed.

'WHAT.' She said once she was stable while Simon and Janet laughed, Janet held her cheeks and Simon held his stomach.

They were plainly kidding but the thought of Rae kissing James was a very weird image for her, and something she didn't wanna even think about.

'I'm kidding, Rae.' Simon chortled, 'Janet said this would be amazing to watch.' Janet had hit his shoulder playfully, denying and still laughing.

James shifted uncomfortably, as Rae glared at the duo. 'This isn't funny.' She said, still sort of mad.

'It was for us.' Simon said winking while Imane and Alex let out small smiles. 'Anyway, that wasn't your dare.' He said.

Rae groaned, sitting back, 'There's more?'

'Yes. Since we all know how much Rae loves making animal noises.' James wondered what he was doing here as he sat still with them, 'you Rae, have to call your third recently dialed number and only answer in animal noises.'

Imane and Janet oohed while Alex chuckled, 'This is good.'

'Really?' Rae asked, pouting but nevertheless she unlocked her mobile and went to her recently dialed.

Janet peeped in her phone with her, 'Ooh, it's a con call.' She said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. 'And guess who Imane?'

'Who?' Imane asked, a little scared that it wouldn't be Xavier, Rae's ex.

'The Amigops!' Janet said and Simon rubbed his hands, 'Janet take a video, we have clout right here.'

Janet did so and Rae smiled, looking at the audience who were eagerly waiting for her to dial. Meanwhile she glanced at James who looked like he wanted to leave.

'Argh, they're going to probably block me after this.' Rae said, dialing the number.

'Um, what is the Amigops?' James asked, meekly as Simon answered the question with a gasp.

'You don't know the Amigops!' Simon almost yelled dramatically.

Imane and Janet shook their heads at his dramatic gasp while Alex hit his head with a pat. 'Alex, J doesn't really knows the streamers much.'

'How can't he? Sykkuno is one of the Amigops!' Simon shrugged and Rae watched James jaw clenched a bit but Alex then gave a brief description about the four streamers.

James only nodded in reply.

'Hello? Rae?' Sykkuno's hesitant voice was heard from the other end.

'Rae? What's up?' Toast said, more sleepy than ever.

'Hey, Rachel.' Corpse's deep voice resonated.

Rae cleared her throat, and everyone gathered around her chuckled, hiding their muffled laughter.

Imane and Janet were laughing, and Simon and Alex were enjoying the banter while James was only observing this, his grim expressions now deepened. While Rae was trying her best to not burst into laughter.

Rae laughed, for a moment forgetting that she was with another group of friends. 'It was a dare guys, anyway I'll talk to you later. See ya.'

Collective sounds of goodbyes and owas was heard, while the Amigops wished Imane again and bade them all a good night and Rae smiled when she faced Simon with a smirk. 'See, it's all done.'

James stood up, done with all of this, 'I'll take your leave. I have some work. Yea?'

'Good night, J.' Alex said with a smile while Rae furrowed her brows, a little pleased he was off but still wondering why.

He left and then Simon continued with his game, trying to think of a fun dare for Janet when Alex held the forgotten laptop charger. 'Oh, Rae? Can you go give this to J? He must be just around the hall.'

Rae nodded and took the laptop charger while moving out of the room and James was just a few steps ahead, walking slowly when she called out to him.

'Yes?'

'Here.' She handed him the laptop charger. He nodded, his facial expressions still grim and the earlier happy mood of his faded completely to being cold again.

'Is your laptop and work calls really more important than a weekend with friends?' She couldn't help but ask.

How in the world was he with his own friends and still be so miserable.

James eyed her with his cold gaze, 'Yes. Yes it is.' He held the laptop and the charger. 'Thanks for this.'

With that James was off to his room and Rae couldn't help but pity the miserable guy for getting all the comforts of life but still being miserable.

With a shrug, she left to her room, not really wanting to cross paths with the miserable Tran Twin.
