Tommy and Wilbur were talking outside as the others were gathered inside Vienna's house, the nerves finally settling in. Vienna was still in the kitchen, all the supplies she had set out on her counter. Her eyes were flickering from her friends to the weapons, her friends to the bag of potions beside Niki. The woman was nervous, her heart rate accelerating with each second that passes by.

Vienna was standing with her hands on her counter, her gloves stopping her hands from feeling the cold stone, from feeling the pressure build in her mind weighing her entire body down. Vienna was going over the math in her head as she slid down to the floor, mumbling little numbers and incoherent words that even she couldn't understand. She couldn't find any way for the supplies, like the bandages, to be used in the most reasonable way possible. There just wasn't a way for anyone to win in this situation. There would be if there were more supplies.

But there wasn't.

A hand on Vienna should shook her from her mathematical trance, she didn't even realize she had but her head in her hands. She looked up, seeing a concerned Technoblade in front of her, his cloak situated in his arms, but was transferred to the floor as he looked at the woman. There was a subtle conversation striking in the living room, again on who the traitor could be, but the woman didn't pay attention to it.

Whoever the fucking spy was going to live at the end of the day.

"You okay?" Technoblade says, crouching down to push the hair out of Vienna's eyes. She smiled at the man, a blush rising up from her neck as he sat down beside her. Technoblade reached for her hand, taking it in his own, holding it between their close bodies. Vienna felt warm.

"There is just so much- so fucking much, that could go incredible wrong.." Vienna whispered, staring at the cabinets in front of her. She smiled, shaking her head as she realized that there was literally so much more that could go terribly, horridly wrong, much more then she was talking about. Technoblade glanced down at the woman, seeing the terror in her eyes and feeling as if he was obligated to make her feel safe, for her to not be scared.

And he could.

"Come with me.." Technoblade whispered back to her, catching Vienna off guard. She looked at the pink haired man, seeing a flicker of, of something in his eyes. She couldn't quite place what the emotion was, but she knew it was a strong one.

"Where?"

"You'll see." Technoblade stood, dragging Vienna up with her. He waited in the kitchen for a few moments, then spoke again. "You should bring all your things too, I doubt we'll be coming back here." So Vienna did, and while she was packing everything, Technoblade announced to the group his plans.

"Guys!" The man said, straightening out his clothes, clasping the dark red cape around his throat. "Gather your belongings. We're going to my base."

Vienna wasn't sure what Technoblade had planned, and was anxious when the man pressed the button that revealed his base. She heard a plethora of 'oohs,' and 'woahs,' by her friends, and she saw the small smile Technoblade had on his face as everyone walked down the stairs, surprisingly in a non-chaotic way. They were walking slowly down the stairs and going two by two, Technoblade and Vienna falling in the back.

"What are you doing Blade?" Vienna whispers, holding the edge of her short between her fingers. The fabric slipping through her fingers as she descended the stairs with the man wearing a blood red cape followed by her side.

"I've been working on something for a while," was all the man said, not doing much to calm the woman's nerves. Vienna nodded nonetheless, and continued down the stairs as she listened to the soft conversations floating around the base.

reaching the last step, Technoblade gently pushed pst Vienna, going straight to his enchanting room. He went behind the books as everyone looked around in shock. Some were going through chest-Quackity and Tommy- and others were just looking around at the entirety of the base.

Golden accented pillars filling in the spaces between the blackstone walls and warm lighting spilling from the overhead lanterns, bookshelves covered with weird and entrancing items like skulls and small trinkets. They took in the messy scribble of handwriting that could only belong to Vienna, and the misplaced books that fell against the table gently.

The others were impressed with Technoblade's work, seeing for the first time, but were confused in why they were brought here. Little did they know that their confusion was about to be replaced by the weight of armor, and the feeling of power. They would be suited up, and geared to the smallest inch of their bodies. They would be given a new hope, and a new reason to fight.

Technoblade stood beside a slightly moved bookshelf, a hand moving towards a lever that would reveal his project to his allies. The man had waited patiently for everyone to look at him, Vienna waiting in the back leaning against the table. She watched with heavy shoulders, the thoughts of everything turning bad still lingering freshly. She wasn't sure what to do, and Technoblade was about to fix that problem.

"If you will," Technoblade finally said, pulling the lever that acted quickly to removed the bookshelf he stood beside away, and reveal a ladder leading farther down into the earths crust. He went down first, showing the way for the skeptical few who waited above him. Each one of the revolutionists climbed down the ladder, Fundy and Vienna being the last one down, but before they could reach the bottom, shouts were heard.

Shouts of joy, and of shock.

Vienna stepped down the last latter step and hesitated before turning around, seeing rows of chests filled with multiply items. Bandages, potions, arrows, swords, weapons. It was all here. Yet what caught everyone's eyes were the seven armor stands lining the back wall. Dark purple and glowing blue, light radiating off of each chestplate, every helmet. The black wall behind each set was fully alit in a blue haze, seeming as if it were water. Vienna stared in shock as everyone went through the chests as Technoblade watched with a small smile.

Vienna looked to the man with water filling her eyes. She smile at the man who had single handedly brought a sliver of hope to her mind. This man had fixed everyone of Vienna's problems in one moment. He had gathered everything they were short on, and then some. Technoblade had been preparing for war this whole time, and had went the extra mile to secure everyone else's safety.

Technoblade really was not a hero, nor would he ever be one. But all Vienna could see was a man who had saved everyone in this dysfunctional, functioning group of outcasts. She could feel her body moving towards the man as the others gathered everything they wanted, and strapping on the netherite armor. Vienna felt her arms shooting up and around Technoblade's neck, pulling him down to her level. She felt herself smiling, and she heard herself thanking the man over and over again, like this was the last time she was ever going to see him.

Vienna felt Technoblade's gauntlets around the small of her back, and the man whispering his responses to the woman's thanks. They swayed slightly as they embraced, warmth seeping from every ounce of their bodies. Technoblade rested his head on the woman's shoulder, the smile widening on his face, no matter how bad it would hurt later.

"Thank you." Vienna said one more time, pulling away from the man and kissing his check. The woman was overjoyed to know she wasn't going to have to ration their supplies, and be able to help where she could, whenever she could without feeling like she would run out. This was a miracle, this was the thing they needed.

"Go get the things you need," Technoblade said, wiping the tear falling down Vienna's face. "I have one more thing to show.." Vienna nodded, and detached from the man in front of her to gather more. Technoblade watched her go into the crowd, seeing the people wearing the armor he had worked hard for, and the weapons that were deadlier then the ones they had begun with. Iron was no match for netherite.

Technoblade moved slightly to the left of the group, heading towards a cubby hole where his personal items were held, like his armor and his weapons. He went to a corner with a glowing chest, and pricked his finger on his crown, feeling the blood drip down his finger. He sprinkled the blood over the chest, seeing the familiar eye pop up and blink a few times before opening to the man. Technoblade moved the wither skulls aside, and dug for the golden trinkets buried deep within the chest. He shifted around small gem stones and a few netherite scraps before he saw the shiny surface of the golden apples.

The man gently took the apples out, laying them in his arms as he gathered the seven that laid in wait. He held them close to his chest as he closed the chest, watching as it blinked again before deconstructing in on itself, sending scarps of its self all over the floor. This time he didn't bother collecting the pieces, knowing he could later. Instead, the man walked back to the others and watched as they gathered around him without a thought. They were glancing at the apples in his arms occasionally, then back to him. Everyone except for Vienna, who just looked at him.

Technoblade nodded his head, passing the apples around to the group, seeing their faces light up more, the life return that much more to their eyes, He felt his heart jump when his hand brushed against Vienna's, handing her the apple. The woman smiled, seeing her open her hand fully, and to his surprise handing it back to him.

"You've done enough for me, Technoblade." She said simply, seeing the confusion in his face. The man tried again, holding the golden apple out to her, only to have the man be rejected again.

"Why won't you take it?" Technoblade whispered, seeing everyone else had already had downed theirs while Vienna had barely had even touched hers. Vienna looked straight at Technoblade with soft eyes, the hurricane blue being brighter then ever before as she responded with the truest version of her perspective.

"You have done enough for me, I won't take your last golden apple," Her voice was full of truth, no lie was dripping from her response. Technoblade knew he had helped out a bunch with his vault, and had also taken notice that Vienna was only wearing the chestplate to her armor, he was confused.

"Vienna, just take the apple, I don't need it."

"Neither do I." The others had started to go back up the latter, ignoring the conversation between the two at the other end of the room.

"You're at one life.." Technoblade was getting concerned, like Vienna had a plan with the battle to come, like she was going to give her life again like how she did for Tubbo. Technoblade was frightened that Vienna was going to act selfless again and die while protecting someone who wasn't herself. That she was going to die for sure this time, and not come back to him.

"I don't need it, but I feel like you do.." Vienna smiled again, folding his hands over the golden sphere. The man didn't know how to feel. With Vienna's hand holding the apple close to his chest instead of hers. He looked down into her eyes, seeing the overwhelming need to do everything she could for everyone else. He wasn't sure how to feel, or how to word, that he didn't need a golden apple, or an enchanted one at that.

The man shook his head at the woman, mentally smiling at her selflessness, but still put the apple into her hands and backed away before she could give back to him. Whenever Vienna stepped closer to him, he'd take a step back.

"Vienna, how many lives do you think I'm on?" Technoblade smiled sadly, seeing the expression on the dark haired woman's face disappear completely as she thought.

"Two?" Technoblade smiled again, seeing the confusion now flashing in her eyes instead of his own. Technoblade felt like he should tell Vienna the truth now, just to get her to eat the apple for her own good. He walked to the woman this time, seeing her going through her brain for every possible answer for this.

"Vien, I have never died." Technoblade's voice was soft and cool, whispering into the woman's ears.

"How is that possible?" Vienna said, turning her head to face the man fully, clutching the apple to her chest softly. "Wait- how old are you Technoblade?" Vienna's thoughts were going wild, trying to figure this math out before she went braindead. In all honesty, there was no wat for one to keep all three lives for long without losing one.

"Do you want the truth, my dear?" The pink haired man started, staring at the wall behind Vienna's head. "Or do you want me to lie?"

"The truth."

"Even if it's bad?" Vienna nodded, seeing a sad smile pass over Technoblade's features, his eyes telling more stories then she thought possible.

"435."
