The rain poured around her house as Vienna paced back and forth in her living area. She walked around in circles, and up and down the stairs, all the while her thoughts raged about her next steps forward, or backwards.

A door opening sounded, but she didn't stop her pacing, she just kept walking in the same, endless circle. Even when her feet hurt. But gentle hands around her shoulders stopped her from continuing, and she saw they belonged to the man who saved her life two days ago.

"Hey Techno," Vienna said, looking up into the man's face, who wore a new mask; a pig skull with fangs dripping with gold, his own adding to the new outfit. Vienna took in his new appearance while she calmed down on the inside.

Golden boots polished, even with the rain creating mud puddles around the entire area. A new cloak, blood red and black and white fur lining the top. Gold gloves to match Technoblade's boots, and his crown shined. Even over the years old blood. Underneath the cloak, was one of his white shirts tucked into his normal black pants. His sleeves belled out around his wrist and up to his shoulders. His hair tied back in a half bun in the back of his head.

He looked good.

"Are you okay?" Technoblade says, taking the mask off of his face to look her in the eyes. Vienna felt a blush rising up her neck.

Stop. She thought, slightly nodding her head.

"Yeah- I just- I don't know what to do.." she said truthfully. Techno nodded and lead her over to the couch, sitting with her as she laid her head in her hands, hair falling around her face gently.

"What's going on?" He said hesitantly, his voice betrayed his calm exterior. Vienna let out a small laugh at her childish behavior, at least that's what she thought. She was being childish because she couldn't make her own decisions.

"The other day, before I was almost killed, Jschlatt told me to come to the festival." Vienna said, tilting her head in Technoblade's direction, a smile on her face despite her conversation. "I don't know if I should or not.." Technoblade took a moment to register what he had heard.

Vienna was banned from ever entering Manburg, meaning if she ever set foot into the place, she'd either be killed, or worse.. Technoblade didn't want to think about it. The safest option for Vienna, was to stay with Tommy and Wilbur. But, Technoblade was also invited (that was why he was dressed up), he could be selfish and take Vienna with him, gathering state secrets, all the while protecting her from anyone who wanted to harm her while he was close.

Honestly? It didn't seem like a bad idea. Plus, Technoblade was sure Eret was going to be there, along with Nihachu and Tubbo- the spies. They could help keep her safe if this is a trap.

"I think you should come, Tubbo, Niki, and Eret will be there, myself as well. We all can make sure it isn't a trap. I actually think everyone but Eret are at Pogtopia right now," technoblade stands, offering his hand to the female in front of him. She lifted her head, and took his hand hesitantly. Vienna nodded her head, and went off to her bedroom to put on better clothes.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Vienna looked over herself. She wore a turtleneck sweater, mostly because of the cold weather, and the fact that most of everything of hers was still in Sapnap's house. She took a bag of the things she thought she'd need the most, and a closet full of decent clothes was not it. Still, with the dark red turtle neck and black cargo pants, paired with her old, black boots, she looked good.

Inside her head, Vienna thought this was a bad idea, gong to the festival. She couldn't get over the feeling that something bad was going to happen at anytime, right now even. As she pulled a harness over her thigh for a dagger she'd dug up from under her bed hours ago, she heard the boards creaking as Techno's boots echoed against the floor. Vienna stuffed the dagger into the harness, and grabbed some little things she might need, including an armor piece for her shoulder, and one for her forearm.

"The Festival starts in 20 minutes," The pink haired man said, stepping into the small room Vienna was in. He looked at the daggers she was strapping everywhere, one underneath the red turtle neck, one on her hip, and the one on her thigh, and the armor she had strapped on moments before he had walked in. "You're not taking any chances are you?"

"Not when I'll be surrounded by people who want me dead, and one who tried to kill me in the same week." Vienna said as she tied her hair back in a braid, she didn't need any distractions either. She turned towards the man leaning against her doorway, and signaled for him to lead the way with her head, and he did.

The rain had stopped, and the sun was burning bright against the muted blue sky, small fluffy clouds blocking anything else that was trying to break through the haze. Vienna and Technoblade had followed a direct path to Manburg, the leaves and dirt being either pushed aside or pushed down from how many times the same people had walked the path. They avoided big puddles and fallen, decomposing trees, all in all if they weren't going to a festival they really shouldn't to be going to because they were banned, or it wasn't exactly the right circumstances, it would seem peaceful. But since none of those things were reality, Vienna's nerves were spiked.

And after 20 minutes of walking in a zig-zagging pattern, the odd pair were on the border of Manburg. Out of the corner of her eye, Vienna saw Wilbur's beanie and Tommy's purple sword running behind a tree as people flooded around an area that was filled entirely with decorations, tents and other small stands.

And despite everything that was going on in her head, Vienna smiled.

She felt a nudge on her ribs, and a masked face held his arm out for her with a pained smile because of his cuts on either side of his face. She took his arm, the smile growing on her face, though the aching feeling in her gut wasn't going away, if anything it was growing bigger, and bigger, and bigger.

Hopefully it didn't suffocate her like she felt like it would..

Down at the main festival area, the odd dou had already gotten some pretty nasty glares from the people around them. Some even went as far as drawing their weapons on the two, but Technoblade just shrugged it off as if they were just simple maggots under his boot. The ones who were foolish to get close enough to breath around Vienna or himself, were met by a skulled individual drawing a crossbow from his back, and pointing it right at their chests. Of course he never would shoot it unless provoked, but it was a good reminder who they were dealing with. He was a calm man, who only wanted to protect himself and the woman gripping his arm hard.

Vienna, normally the strong female, was terrified. She had every right to be as well. She was surrounded by the people who would run a sword through her heart in a single instant, o questions asked. Vienna was normally the one who would do everything in her power to avoid a fight, but right now, she wasn't sure if that was an option. You can only avoid so many conflicts before you get caught in the crossfire. Another thing that Vienna was known for in these parts, was her fierce loyalty to her friends and family. She would rather die then to see them hurt, but that loyalty would be the thing that would get her killed in the end. Not even her skills with a sword would save her then, not even Technoblade could save her then.

Walking towards a familiar group of people near the podium, Vienna immediately picked Nihachu out of the crowd forming around a game. She quicked her and Techno's pace to reach the dark haired female sooner, and when she did reach the woman, Vienna removed herself from the pink haired bodyguard.

"Vienna!" Niki shouted softly, hugging the dark haired woman reaching for her hand. Vienna laughed and embraced Niki tightly, and leaning into her touch. The two didn't separate for what seemed like hours, but in reality was only a few minutes, and smile lovingly at each other.

Over the past months, Vienna and Niki stayed close, with by secret letters sent by Tubbo when he would regularly visits Tommy and Wilbur in Pogtopia, or by a bird. They didn't write often, out of fear of Niki getting caught by Schlatt, but when they did, the letters were long and full of secrets.

"How- how are you here? Aren't you banned?" Niki said with a small trace of fear in her eyes, but soo leaving when she heard the familiar voice of the infamous Jschlatt.

"Ahh, Vienna! Glad to see you've listened to what I said!" the horned man said, taking the woman by the shoulder and gently squeezing in a passive-aggressive way. His grey eyes conveying the silent message that he would kill her right this second, but he wouldn't. He needed her for something else. Schlatt lets go of Vienna, and the dark haired female went straight for Technoblade, who already had out his crossbow, nocked and ready to fire. The horned male went up to the microphone on the stage, and made an announcement.

"Everyone! Everyone listen up!" his voice boomed around the area, people stopping from their games and conversations to look up to their president (and the stumbling of the vice president, who appeared to be drunk). "We have two very, d very special guests. Everyone remembers Vienna Blue, correct? And Technoblade! Be sure to give them a warm welcome back into Manburg!" no one clapped, Schlatt smirked and continued his announcement. "Oh and, one more thing, if any harm comes to either of them while they are under the invitation of my own giving, you will face the consequences, and trust me when I say, they are not pleasant."

Around Vienna and Technoblade, who stood outside of the group of people surrounding the stage, all looked at the man with the grey horns with such admiration, or fear. What the man basked in, drinks in his beer every morning. Those who feared him, have very right to be folding their feet under their blankets at night, afraid of him coming to get them while they slept.

And, unbeknownst to everyone around Jschlatt, he was planning something. Something that'd run a huge gash in between the revolution he knew was forming, and forming fast. He knew of the spies that lurked in the shadows of his nation, of the plot to eradicate his rule. He knew of one of the traitors, and was set in making an example of him. The traitor, was Tubbo. The sweet, kind, wholesome Tubbo. You'd never expect someone that nice, to be a key role in a persons demise, but no matter. He'd be dead by the end of the day.
