Jungkook woke up to the sound of his regular alarm, but as he sat up on the bed, he felt an overwhelming sense of exhaustion both in his body and mind. He knew he couldn't go to university that day, not with the countless hickeys covering his skin that couldn't be hidden with makeup.

With a heavy sigh, Jungkook decided to rest a bit longer and fell back asleep, setting aside the responsibilities of the day.

He requested the servants bring breakfast to his room at 11 a.m., hoping to distract himself from the painful thoughts that plagued his mind.

Jungkook tried reading books, checking his phone, and going back to reading again, just trying to resist the urge to cry. His swollen and hurting eyes were a reminder of how much he had already cried.

Lying on the bed, he closed his eyes, trying to find some peace in sleep, but it seemed elusive. Suddenly, his phone rang, breaking the silence.

Jungkook lazily picked it up after a few minutes and saw that it was a message from Taehyung.

Fear gripped him, and he nervously bit his lip, even though his lips were already painfully bruised. Opening the messenger app, he braced himself for the worst but was taken aback when he saw that Taehyung was inviting him for coffee in the evening.

Jungkook felt conflicted. He wasn't sure if he could handle meeting Taehyung, afraid that he would be confronted with the hurtful words.

Another part of him hoped that Taehyung had forgotten everything and was offering the invitation genuinely. He contemplated whether he should go and decided to decline the invitation, as he didn't want Taehyung to see him covered in hickeys and possibly misunderstand the situation.

Moreover, he couldn't muster the courage to face Taehyung just yet. He needed some time to process everything that happened and prepare for any type of situation.

In the end, Jungkook messaged Taehyung back, saying that he was busy and couldn't make it for coffee.

He lied down on the bed again after putting his phone on the table, trying to give himself some space and time to sort through his emotions.

After a few seconds, another notification rang on Jungkook's phone. Unable to believe what he was reading, Jungkook blinked his eyes. "I'll wait until then; take care." Taehyung said in the message

Despite the uncertainty and fear, Jungkook couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope, and a smile crept onto his face. It was heartwarming to know that Taehyung was willing to wait for him.

However, Jungkook was also well aware of Taehyung's kind and caring nature. He couldn't dismiss the possibility that Taehyung's gestures might be for a different reason entirely. The thought of getting his hopes up and being disappointed was nerve-wracking.

"If he really has forgotten everything, then I might be missing a golden opportunity," Jungkook mumbled to himself, contemplating his next move. He wanted to believe that Taehyung's invitation was genuine and that he truly wanted to spend time with him. But he couldn't ignore the nagging doubts in the back of his mind.

Taking a deep breath, Jungkook decided to respond to Taehyung's message. He typed a short but sincere reply, "You too, take care." It was the best he could manage for now, unsure of how to navigate this delicate situation.

The hours dragged on, and Jungkook spent the entire day in his room, feeling uneasy and conflicted. He tried to distract himself with various activities, but his mind kept wandering back to Taehyung and the upcoming coffee meetup that he had declined. He wished he had the courage to face Taehyung and talk things through, but the fear of potential heartbreak held him back.

It was a warm afternoon, the sun casting its golden rays through the windows of Taehyung's cabin as he sat there, gripping his phone tightly in one hand. He couldn't help but feel anxious as he scrolled through the messages, searching for that one particular conversation with Jungkook.

Their last exchange on Messenger was three days ago, with a simple "you too, take care" from Jungkook.

Taehyung had replied, assuring him that he would wait for him, but the reply he anticipated never arrived. It had been nagging at him-the worry that perhaps he had done something to hurt Jungkook during that party night, that he had caused pain to an innocent soul.

Taehyung hesitated, fingers hovering over the keys as he contemplated whether he should message Jungkook or not. Embarrassment crept in, making him wonder if he was becoming a bother by sending messages.

However, the burden of that party night weighed heavily on his heart, urging him to reach out. With determination, he typed a message and finally pressed the send button.

As minutes passed, Taehyung tried to distract himself, realising that Jungkook might be busy at the university and unable to respond immediately. He left his phone on the table and returned to his work, attempting to focus on the tasks at hand.

Having completed that day's work, Taehyung was walking towards KM's parking lot when the silence was interrupted by a notification, and Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he saw Jungkook's name on the screen.

Nervously, he unlocked his phone to read the message, which read, "I'm sorry, Hyung, but I promised my friend for the evening gathering."

Although Jungkook's reply was reasonable, Taehyung couldn't shake off the unease that lingered within him. He quickly typed a reply, "It's okay; take care of yourself," trying his best to be understanding despite his own concerns.

With the weight of unanswered questions and unresolved worries gnawing at him, Taehyung stepped into his car, taking a deep breath to compose himself.

He felt lost, unable to stop his mind from conjuring up the worst possible scenarios for his actions at the party. The urge to find clarity overwhelmed him, and without much thought, he steered the car towards the club, where he could get some relief with different types of beverages.

As Taehyung drove, his mind raced with thoughts, and his heart pounded as he approached the club.

Taehyung knew he had to confront his fears, face Jungkook, and find out the truth behind that haunting night. Only then could he hope to find peace within himself and mend any unintentional harm that might have been done. But until now, all Taehyung had to do was wait and drink.

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, and Jungkook found himself in the hallway, enjoying some munchies to satisfy his hunger. As he munched away, he couldn't help but think about Taehyung, feeling guilty for declining his coffee invitations not just once but twice before.

Over the past week, Jungkook had been mustering up the courage to face Taehyung, and now he felt ready to meet him. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed his phone and decided to reach out to Taehyung, hoping to finally clear the air between them.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was in his office cabin, preparing to leave for the weekend. He was feeling excited because he and Yoongi had planned to spend both Saturday and Sunday together.

It had been weeks since Taehyung had genuinely enjoyed his holidays, and he was grateful to Yoongi for taking the time to invite him and make it special.

Just as Taehyung was about to leave, Namjoon entered the office and asked if there were any instructions for the weekend.

Taehyung smiled warmly and replied that there were none, advising Namjoon to simply enjoy the holidays. Namjoon reciprocated the smile and wished Taehyung a great time with Yoongi.

With good wishes in his heart, Taehyung left the office and headed towards his car, eager to meet his hyung. As he was about to start the engine, his phone rang, and he couldn't help but smile when he saw that it was Jungkook calling.

Excited to finally have the opportunity to talk, Taehyung answered the call, his heart brimming with curiosity about what Jungkook wanted to say. The two were now on the verge of a long-awaited conversation.

"Hi, hyung, How are you doing?" Jungkook's voice echoed warmly from the other side of the call.

"I'm fine; what about you?" Taehyung's voice responded with tenderness.

"I'm good. Umm... I was thinking of going for coffee with you if you're free." Jungkook hesitantly expressed his desire.

Taehyung pondered for a moment and replied, "Actually, I'm going to Yoongi Hyung's apartment as I decided to spend time with him."

"Oh," Jungkook murmured, and there was a brief silence. Jungkook began to say, "It's okay--" but before he could finish, Taehyung interrupted, "Jungkook, I was saying that you can come to Hyung's apartment. We can spend some time together there."

Jungkook considered the idea. He knew of Yoongi; in fact, he was a fan of his music but had never met him personally.

"It's okay if you're not comfortable," Taehyung started to say, thinking Jungkook might not be okay with the idea, but he was cut off by Jungkook, who said, "It seems like a good idea. I will come."

Taehyung couldn't help but smile warmly at the thought of meeting Jungkook. This reunion would finally give him the chance to address any lingering concerns from that party night.

"Okay, I'm sending you the address. I'm heading there, and you can come whenever you feel okay. I'll be waiting," Taehyung said with eagerness.

Jungkook replied, "Okay, Hyung," and they bid each other goodbye before ending the call.

After sending Yoongi's address to Jungkook, Taehyung drove to Yoongi's apartment, anticipating a joyful time with both and the long-awaited meeting with Jungkook.

The drive was filled with excitement, curiosity, and hope that this gathering would bring about positive moments and perhaps resolve any unresolved issues between him and Jungkook.

As he approached Yoongi's apartment, Taehyung couldn't wait to finally reunite with his hyung and make new memories together.

Taehyung rang the doorbell of Yoongi's apartment, though he knew the password and could enter without waiting. However, he preferred not to barge in unless he was certain Yoongi was alone and not on a date with someone else. He didn't want any awkward encounters or to interrupt any private moments.

As the door opened, they embraced each other tenderly. "What's up, my little brother? I missed you." Yoongi said with genuine affection.

"I'm good, Hyung," Taehyung replied, cherishing the warmth of the hug. Before he could ask, Yoongi took the lead and said, "Me too."

Feeling quite exhausted from the day, Taehyung grinned at his hyung and headed towards Yoongi's room, loosening his tie. He was still dressed in his formal suit from earlier.

"I will freshen up first," Taehyung announced.

Yoongi hummed in response and made his way to the kitchen. However, Taehyung suddenly turned back, realising he needed to inform Yoongi about inviting Jungkook over for the evening. He called out, "Hyung?"

"Yes?" Yoongi replied from the kitchen, grabbing a drink bottle from the fridge.

"I've invited someone for the evening without asking you, sorry," Taehyung confessed, waiting for Yoongi to join him in the hallway.

Aware of his brother's habit of befriending good people Yoongi smiled and replied, "No issue. Anyway, I have been tired of your boring ass for so many years. I'll now surely enjoy it properly."

Taehyung rolled his eyes playfully at Yoongi's teasing remark as he entered the room. After taking a refreshing shower, he picked out some casual attire from his designated closet. Taehyung visited Yoongi's place frequently enough that he had a stash of clothes and necessities there.

Emerging from the room, Taehyung wore a white half-sleeve t-shirt paired with light grey pants.

Taehyung was about to settle on the couch when he heard the doorbell ring. A smile spread across his face, knowing exactly who it was-Jungkook had arrived.
