there might be some people that haven't read the manga (like me), and i wouldn't want to see spoilers and know what's going to happen. thank you ^.^

it had been a hell of a morning for kageyama.

he is nervous. he would be seeing y/n after komori asked her if she wants to be together with him. he is scared to see what her reaction would be, as she hasn't texted him yet. but he will see her in a bit.

maybe that's the most killing about it all. what will her reaction be? is she going to be happy about it?

kageyama can't help it but think about all the possibilities. will she reject him? what if she's going to slap him and tells him that she never wants to speak to him again. he'd rather have his heart broken and been told that they can only stay friends than her saying she never wants to see him again.

maybe kageyama shouldn't of have done all of this... maybe he should've just kept it for himself and stay friends with her. that's safer than anything anyway, and now it's all fucked up.

it's not only that, he's also nervous as fuck. it's karasuno versus nekoma, and no one knows what the outcome might be. karasuno hopes they will win, but so does nekoma.

kageyama can't help but think about his number buddy. will she even be happy for him when karasuno wins? or will she be mad at him because come on, the school she goes to is nekoma. why would she even cheer for his team?

he just wishes it wasn't this complicated.

the boy sighs to himself as he walks onto the field with his team. they're about to warm up for a little. tanaka and sugawara are rolling the volleyballs towards the court, and that's where kageyama should focus on. but sadly, all he can focus on is the other side, where nekoma should be. is she there? nope, hasn't seen her yet.

and man, it's killing him.

"kageyama!"

the raven haired male looks up when he hears his name, seeing atsumu wave at him. "hello, kageyama! do your best out there! although i hope you win, i don't think there is a chance that you can beat nekoma!"

kageyama rolls his eyes, wanting to flip atsumu off, but he doesn't.

next to atsumu, osamu grabs him by the collar and pulls him towards some players of the other teams, like bokuto, akaashi, komori and a few other teams.

"have you guys seen y/n yet? i mean, where is nekoma even?"

bokuto sighs, crossing his arms and pouting his lips. "i have no idea, osamu-kun! i wish i knew where they were. i would beat kuroo's a ss for being so late! y/n and kageyama have to talk before their match start, or it's going to be awkward as hell."

"you make sense for the first time. congratulations, bokuto."

akaashi sighs and looks at the court, smiling a little when he sees nekoma walking onto the field. "there they are. see, it's all going to be just fine guys."

"they only have a few minutes left, though. they can warm up a little but it isn't really like y/n and kageyama can talk. plus, where the hell is that kid?"

komori frowns as he looks at the team, but still no y/n anywhere. is she chickening out or something? man, she really is something else.

but then, the (h/c) haired female walks onto the field.

it feels like everyone is staring at her. maybe that is the case, as all of karasuno, and all of nekoma, fukurodani and inarizaki look at her. and of course, komori and his cousin, sakusa.

but the eyes she notices, are the ones that belong to kageyama.

the male lowers his hands, looking at the female in front of her. she looks cute with just her nekoma outfit on. it's adorable, but she always looks that way.

"hi," kageyama speaks softly, looking into those beautiful (e/c) eyes that he loves so much. he just likes looking at her, and the boy never thought that he would ever think that about someone. yet along it being one of his best friends, someone he thought was annoying at first.

"hey, tobio-kun."

before the two love birds can say anything to each other, a loud whistle is heard through the whole gym.

everyone that knows about the two, sighs loudly. the whistle couldn't come at a worse moment than this!

"good luck out there," y/n whispers, smiling a little. she slowly backs away, "but you're going to lose."

kageyama shows his signature smile, nodding towards the girl. "that's what you think, but you have no idea how good karasuno has become. we'll crush you, nekoma."

and with that, y/n backs away and stands next to nekoma's coach, looking at her team and karasuno's one.

this match will decide a whole lot...

a / n : again, i'm so sorry for the lack of updates. life is busy, shit happens, but i'm doing my best to write here and there. i got a little free time this weekend so here it is. (although i just didn't make my homework for this but alright, let's forget that).
