After the Sorting finally came to an end, Dumbledore gave the students a little speech, reminding them the the corridor on the 3rd floor was prohibited, just like the access to the Forbidden Forest to the First Years.

The Banquet finally began, and they all started eating, some chatting with their friends, or just listening to the other's conversations.

During the Sorting, when one of the professors looked at Y/N, his scar itched a little.

But he didn't tell Harry. It was nothing for sure, and he didn't want to worry him for something so stupid. After all, he wasn't weak. He could handle an itching scar, right?

He was now scanning carefully the teacher's table, searching with his gaze the Professor.

That's when he saw him, staring at him. He tugged Percy Weasley's sleeve to get his attention.

Y/N: Percy, who is the one talking to Professor Quirrel?
He asked.

Percy looked at the teachers.
Percy: Oh, he's Snape, our Potions Teacher. But everyone in the school knows that he always wanted to teach Quirrel's Subject, Defense Against the Dark Arts.
He said, as he kept eating.

Y/N: I see...
He muttered. That's when a Ghost popped his head out of the table, making Y/N flinch. He looked like a Knight.

Percy smiled at him.
Percy: Hi, Sir Nicholas. How was your summer?
He politely asked.

The Ghost looked at him.
Sir Nicholas: Dismal. Once again my request to join the Headless Hunt has been denied.
He said dramatically, as he slowly started to float away.

Ron: Hey, I know who you are! You're Nearly-Headless Nick!

He suddenly said.

Sir Nicholas: I prefer Sir Nicholas, if you may.
He said, gritting his teeth.

That's when Hermione butted into the conversation.
Hermione: That's impossible. How can someone be Nearly-Headless?
She asked.

Sir Nicholas: Like this.
He said flatly, as he grabbed his head and pulled it to the side.

His head was still connected to his neck by a very tiny piece of skin.

Hermione: Ew.
She said, looking away.

Sir Nicholas put his head back to its place, and suddenly Y/N wasn't so Hungry anymore.

When the Banquet finished, told the Prefects of each House to a lead the First Years to the Dorms.

And now Harry and Y/N found themselves following Percy out of the Great Hall.
Percy: Be careful. The stairs like to change.
He said, as some of them gave him a puzzled look.

Then, they reached a wall and stopped. In front of them, there was the painting of a Fat Lady all dresses in pink.

Y/N: She looks like a pig...
He though, looking at her.

She slowly turned her attention to Percy.
Fat Lady: Password?
She asked solemnly. Percy cleared his throat, and smirked a little.

Percy: Caput Draconis.
He said.

The painting moved aside, to everyone's surprise, revealing a passage.

They all got in, and found themselves in a circular rooms that had Gryffindor's Colors everywhere.

There ware many armchairs that looked really comfortable, and a fireplace was happily creeping in front of them.

Percy explained them where the dorms where, and told them that their belongings had already been transported into the castle.

Now they were all in their beds, that were really big and surrounded by scarlet drapes.

Ron was already snoring loudly. Y/N was too excited to sleep at first, but then, sleep slowly took over him, and just like everyone in the room, he fell asleep.
