"G-gomen Michiyo. I was just showing what we made to a gang and this weird guy suddenly asked a lot of things." My brother said looking at the man beside him who was clearly lacking sleep.

"I told you to stop calling me weird, I am a professor at the National Science Institute in Tokyo. My name is Murayama Keiji." The said guy introduced and gave a business card.

Who?

"I was just taking a stroll to clear out my mind after hitting a wall in my current research when I saw your brother with his friends and the invention that you two made. The wirings and mechanisms are different from what is commonly known so I was curious to see know the bright mind behind it." Keiji explained.

"I am surprised to see that it's a little girl. The future is looking bright! To think that there's a hidden gem." He says.

For someone who is barely alive with the help of coffee, he's so energetic. But he's so bothersome.

"So?" I asked with my usual monotone voice and neutral expression.

"I want to know how you came up with such a brilliant work?" He asked with excitement.

Shin was right, he's weird. I don't really have any energy to explain right now after playing with Senju, I'm so drained.

"I read books. Now if you'll excuse me, I just want to sleep." I said and rushed inside only to be tackled by my twin.

"Hey, you are going to squish Michi. Stop jumping on her every time she comes home, you're like a dog." Izana said and pulled Manjiro away while Kakucho helped me stand up.

Having Izana around really helps in keeping an eye on Manjiro. But they often argue about small things and Kakucho would always end up being the mediator. They would get along after a few hours as nothing happened anyways so I just watch them.

"Let me go! I hadn't seen Michi all day so don't stop me!" Manjiro said and struggled around that soon turned to a brawl.

"H-hey, don't fight inside. Gramps will get mad." Kakucho tried to stop them but I held him back and told him to let them be.

"Nee-chan, can you help me with my homework?" Emma asked.

"Sure" I said and went to her, ignoring the loud arguing between my two other brothers.

"STOP FIGHTING INSIDE THE HOUSE, YOU BRATS!" Grandpa scolded and pulled the two by the ear and lectured them strictly.

We just had two siblings added and this house became even livelier. It can be annoying but I don't hate it. It feels like home after all.

A week has passed and it has been the worst week that I have ever experienced ever since I reincarnated here.

"You know that I can just call the cops on you, right?" I said as I looked at the professor who was kneeling outside our house for the 7th day.

"Please, I just need you to teach me a few things about the mechanism you created." He said.

He was so desperate when I ignored him for days, saying that he'll lose his job if he can't finish his research in time and he wants to ask me some questions for a few inspiration.

But to beg a mere 8 year old to teach you?

"Michi? Is the weird guy still there? You should send him home, it's time to eat lunch!" Manjiro shouted from inside.ย

"Murayama-san, please go back home. I have nothing to say. I'm just a kid, what do I know about your job? I don't even know how to explain how I did it since I just played around." I said.

Please just leave.

"If you change your mind, please contact me anytime." He said and left, still determined to have an interview with me.

What a bothersome guy.

I sighed before going inside, greeted by the food on the table and the family that waited for me to arrive before eating.

I can't have this peace if I get involved with the professor, I don't even know him since he wasn't shown in the Manga. I don't want to attract any troublesome problems when my plate is already full.

"I'm really sorry Michiyo, it's my fault that he comes here everyday." Shin says.

"Who's that anyway, do you want me to beat him up so he would stop coming?" Manjiro says and received a slap on the back of his head by Izana.

"That's a bad idea, idiot." He said to my twin.

"He's so pitiful and really looks like he needs your help." Emma said and Kakucho agreed.

"Who's side are you really on?" I asked Emma and Kakucho. I even looked at grandpa who was just silent on the matter. I'm surprised he hasn't chased the professor away.

"Michiyo, do you not know who that was?" Grandpa asked as we all went silent.

"No" I said and took a bite of my food.

"EH?" Emma, Kakucho, and Izana simultaneously.

"Why? What's wrong?" Shin asked while Manjiro and I had dumbfounded expressions.

"I expected Shin-nii and Mikey to not know but you as well?" Emma said while grandpa stood up and took a newspaper and handed it to me.

He showed me an article about the professor and it showed that he was a renowned professor at the institute he said. He received many awards, not only national but international awards as well.

"To have someone that accomplished beg outside the house just to ask you some questions is just impressive. As expected of my granddaughter." Grandpa said smugly.

"Seriously? He's a big deal? But how did you meet the guy anyway?" Manjiro asked. Me and Shin had eye contact but we didn't say anything.

"Ahem, anyway, now that you know him, why don't you hear him out?" Emma said after a few minutes of awkward silence.

"Alright, I'll hear him out." I sighed in defeat and continued to eat.

If I see any possibility of him being a troublesome hurdle in the future, I'll immediately refuse no matter what he says and I won't hesitate to call the authorities. He's rich anyway, he doesn't need to worry about losing a job. I'm sure many institutions would like to hire someone like him.
