𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗼'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

"See you tomorrow, Michi!" I said cheerfully and she waved before heading inside their house. After she made it inside, I also went on my way back to our home. I was happy since I get to hang out with Michi alone even for a moment. 

"I'm home" I said as I entered our apartment. The silence made me nervous until our big brother showed himself with an empty glass of water in his hand.

"Haruchiyo, didn't I tell you to look after your sister while I'm gone? Don't you know what time is it already? Where have you been this time?" He asked and I nervously fiddled my fingers.

"I-I'm sorry, nii-san. I was just at the library with my friends." I said, unable to look him in the eye while he sighed.

"You meet your friends at school and on weekends. You know that I'm busy too and dad is rarely home so there's no one else to look after Senju. We shouldn't make grandma do all the work too." He said and I just had my head down in silence.

"That's enough now, Takeomi. Don't be too hard on your brother, he's still young after all so let him have fun with friends. I don't really mind looking after you all for your father." Grandma said and the brother just sighed before walking away.

"Welcome home, Haruchiyo. So, how was your day? Did you have fun?" Grandma asked and part my head while she softly smiled. My expression also softened and my frown turned back to a smile before I told her how my day went while she made me a cup of hot chocolate.

"Granny, what did I do wrong? Big bro Take is mad at me again." I said as my hands enjoy the warmth of the drink she made.

"You didn't do anything wrong, Haruchiyo. He was just worried since Senju is sick." She said.

"Huh? Senju is sick? Why?" I asked with worry and she gently smiled and pat my head.

"She just played around with water so she caught a fever. But don't worry, she already took medicine and just needs some rest." She reassured.

After we chat for a while I went straight to my sister's room to check up on her silently.

She was sleeping soundly with a damp towel on her head but it seems like her fever is starting to leave.

"Haru?" She softly called as I was about to go out.

"Senju, are you okay now? You should sleep more." I said and tucked her in.

"Haru, it's cold. Can we sleep together?" She asked and I just agreed and laid next to her and we cuddled together.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗢𝗩 | 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 [𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟵]

"This should be the final touch right?" Shin said as we finally finished the final product.

For three months we have been secretly creating the aircraft toy at his shop for Manjiro and know it's done.

But this is not just a toy like the one in the manga series. I made my own version with my knowledge about robotics so now, it can fly with a remote.

"This took us a lot of time to make but it feels good to see the final result. We should test it if it flies properly." He said and I nodded.

I took the remote and it is actually working well.

"Woah, we finally did it. This is the first time I saw a toy like this, I'm sure Manjiro would like this." He said and pat my head.

"There's one more thing" I said as I landed the toy on the ground and picked it up.

"Huh?" He asked as I raised the toy above my head and threw it a bit across the room.

"HUUUHHHH??!!!" He exclaimed as I slowly walked towards the toy and inspected it.

It's perfect, it didn't break.

"Why did you do that, Michiyo?!" He asked.

"Durability test" I said.

"HUH?! We worked on that for how many months and you just threw it without hesitation." He said.

"A toy that breaks easily is no fun at all. It's a good thing that we made it durable." I said with a satisfied sigh.

"Nii-san, what time is it?" I asked and he checked his watch and told me that it was almost 3 pm.

Just in time.

"I'll be going now, please keep the toy for now." I said and picked up my bag.

"Huh? Where are you going?" He asked

"To Haru's" I said and he waved me goodbye while he smiled.

Haru became more and more unavailable when it comes to our hangout at the library since he has to look after Senju and their grandma. I just go to their apartment when he can't come with us so he won't feel left out. Kakucho can't come since he and Manjiro are training for a martial art competition that grandpa made them join, Kisaki is also busy with his cram school today.

Overall, it's been peaceful for these few months and everything seems to go well for everyone but I'm not letting my guard down.

I pushed the doorbell as I stood outside the Akashi residence. The one who opened the door was none other than Haru who smiled brightly when he saw me. Before he can say anything Senju rushed and gave me a hug.

"Can I come in?" I asked and he nodded.

When I entered, I saw their grandmother watching tv while knitting a scarf. She saw me and warmly greeted me as always, she's very kind and welcoming, unlike our tsundere grandfather.

"Michiyo? I see you came to play with these two again. What about Shin?" Takeomi asked.

"He's at his shop." I said and he nodded before he went out wearing their gang uniform.

"Michi! Michi! Do you have it?" Senju asked as she was excitedly bouncing up and down. I nodded in response and took out an ice cream popsicle that is a choco-mint flavor and gave it to her.

I just bought it on my way here and it's like becoming a practice to give her ice cream when I come here.

"Michi, you don't have to buy her ice cream every time you come here." Haru said.

"It's fine, I bought more for us too." I said as we went to his room. We usually just read books that we borrow from the public library or tell stories and help him teach Senju.

It might sound a bit boring but overall it's enjoyable for me.
