(Y/N) and Jim sit side by side on the edge of the ship, hanging off of swings. Jim struggles to scrape off a barnacle, while (Y/N) does it effortlessly.

Silver watches from above, his hands resting on the railing. "Put some elbow in it!" He yells, pointing at the ship. "The lass is out doin' you Jimbo!" Silver mocks with a bellowing laugh.

Jim manages to scrape the barnacle off, and glares at the cyborg. Both teens look at the side of the ship, and sigh in defeat upon seeing the many more rows of barnacles.

...

Later in the kitchen, (Y/N) and Jim sit and peal potatoes, Silver at their side. Jim struggles with his potatoes, occasionally nipping his fingers with the knife. He lets out a frustrated sigh, rolling his shoulders and continuing.

(Y/N) looks over at him and watches him struggle, she shakes her head and scoots closer to him. She grabs his hand and tugs it into her lap, quickly taking out a few bandaids from her pocket. Jim watches with a soft smile as she carefully wraps his fingers.

Silver looks over at the two and smiles, Jim catching his eye and blushing. He tries to pull his hand back but receives a light smack to the shoulder by (Y/N).

She skates her head at him and continues to bandage his fingers. The cyborg chuckles lightly as Jim shakes his head, amused at his friends motherly behavior.

"I am a question to the world.."

A young Jim looks out the window of his house. His eyes dart around, hoping to catch sight of the person he was waiting for.

"Not and answer to heard.."

Sarah walks up behind her son, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him, causing him to smile.

"Or a moment that's held in your arms"

"And what, do you think you'd every say.."

...

The trio stand atop the crows nest, Silver demonstrating how to properly tie a rope, yelling at the teens.

"I won't listen anyway.."

He tries again, skillfully tying the rope with a proud smirk. Silver turns around, about to speak but stops, noticing that both Jim and
(Y/N) were gone.

"You don't know me."

Silver looks down, surprised to see that both bots were tied perfectly. He notes that the ropes were hooked and leaning over the edge.

"And I'll never be what you want me to be"

He looks over the edge, watching as Jim and (Y/N) walk away from him. (Y/N) was carefully walking on the railing of the ship, Jim holding her hand as she does.

She trips, and Jim quickly stabling her. Silver chuckles as he watches the boy scold (Y/N), as she rolls her eyes and looks away.

...

"And what, do you think you'd understand?"

Jim and (Y/N) scrub the deck, Jim doing it more harshly. (Y/N) looks over at Jim and sticks her tongue out at him, causing him to do the same.

Their attention is caught as silver makes his way towards the two, crossing his arms and glaring slightly.

"I'm a boy, no I'm a man!"

Jim stands and glares back at silver, neither of the men backing down. (Y/N) rolls her eyes and stands up, wiping her hands on her apron. Silver shoves a bucket of water into Jim's chest, knocking him back a bit.

As the cyborg walks away, Jim huffs out a sigh and dumps the water, it splashing over (Y/N)'s shoes. She looks at Jim and glares, throwing her sponge at him. Jim laughs and walks towards her, wrapping his arms around her and apologizing.

"You can take me, and throw me away"

Jim, now a toddler, sits in the middle of the living room, playing with his toy boat.

"And how can you learn what's never shown.."

Jim's father enters through the front door, carelessly throwing his hat on the side table. Jim smiles in delight, happy to see his father. He picks up his boat and shows his father, eager to see his reaction.

"Yeah you stand here on your own."

His father simply walks by, patting the boy on the head before making his way upstairs, not once looking at his son.

"They don't know me..."

Jim looks down sadly and drops his boat, watching it as it breaks. A soft knock catches his attention, he looks towards the front door and quickly gets up. He opens the door and stumble aback in surprise as something knocks into him.

A lump of (H/C) lies against his chest, Jim looks down in surprise, not expecting to see his childhood friend. (Y/N) looks up at him and smiles, grabs his hand and pulls him towards the middle of the carpet.

The (E/C) girl sits down and brings out her own boat, placing it beside Jim's. She waits patiently for him to sit down with her and they both begin to play, Jim's smile growing larger by the second, completely forgetting about his father.

"Cause I'm not here!"

Jim and (Y/N) sit at the ships bow, watching the stars pass them. Jim leans his head against (Y/N)'s shoulder and closes his eyes, sighing deeply.

The girl places her hand against his head and places a soft kiss on it. No words are exchanged between the two, they just sit there, enjoying eachothers company.

...

"All I want is a moment to be real."

...

"Wanna touch things I don't feel!"

Jim laughs softly as he and (Y/N) both lean against the gallery's stairs as Silver tells the crew a story, waving his arms around and yelling.

"Want to hold on, and feel half alone."

(Y/N) leans down and rests her head in Jim's lap, the boy putting his arms on her head, stroking her hair softly as they laugh at Silver's story.

"And how, can the world want me to change?"

Jim and (Y/N) both sit on the floor scrubbing dishes. They both sigh in relief and slump down once they finished their last dish.

(Y/N) groans as Silver walks towards them, arms full of dirty dishes. He dumps the dishes on the two teens laps, grinning evilly.

"Their the ones that stay the same."

Jim huffs and grabs a pot, scrubbing it harshly and glaring daggers at the cyborg. (Y/N) lazily gets up and grabs a plate, scrubbing with little to no effort.

"They don't know me! But I'm still here"

It's night, both teens finally finishing the last of the dishes. Jim slumps against a pot, his head in his hands. (Y/N) leans against his back, her arms wrapped around his waist as her face pressed against his back.

"And you, see the things the never see.."

Jim feels the girl shift slightly. Grumbling, he reaches over and grabs the back of her shirt, bringing her to his front and hugging her against his chest, burring his head into her hair.

"All you wanted I could be!"

Jim feel's something warm get draped over his shoulder, opening his eyes and watching as Silver walks away.

"Now you know me.."

He looks over and notices Silver's coat around his shoulders and smiles softly. He brings the coat tighter around him and leans his head against the sleeping girl, going back to sleep.

"And I'm not afraid!"

...

Jim and (Y/N) help Silver lower his boat down, getting him ready for departure.

"And I want to tell you who I am, can you help me be a man?"

Jim finishes untying the boat and rejoins
(Y/N)'s side, watching as Silver climbs in. The boy frowns slightly watching him fly off, grabbing (Y/N)'s hand and squeezing it.

"They can't break me!"

Jim wakes up with a start upon hearing the front door slam. He rushes downstairs, his eyes landing on his mom sitting at a table, her head in her hands as tears stream down her face.

A women with (H/C) kneels infront of her, grabbing her hands and rubbing small circles with her thumbs, quietly consoling the women. A man enters from the kitchen, carrying a tray with three mugs.

He makes his way towards the two women, placing the tray down and offering a comforting hand on Sarah's shaking shoulder. He looks towards Jim and shakes his head, nodding his head outside, silently telling Jim where his father was.

"As long as I know who I am!"

Jim runs outside and hurries towards the docks, catching sight of his father who was making his way towards a small boat, a bag over his shoulders.

His father gets into the boat and sails off, leaving Jim devastated, his hand silently reaching out to him in a desperate plea to stay. Jim sinks to the floor, a never ending stream of tears falling from his eyes.

"They can't tell me who I am!"

He stays there for a few hours, his eyes burning from the crying. His head hangs low as his hands softly gripped the wood boards. Suddenly he feels two small arms wrap around his neck, Jim dosent protest as the hands pull him into a chest.

"Cause I'm not what they see.."

The (E/C) girl as dosent say anything as she holds her friend, trying to comfort him. She stares ahead into the murky morning air, glaring softly. Jim brings his hands up and grips the girl's wrists, he feels his eyes begin to water.

"Yeah the world is still sleeping while I keep on dreaming for me."

Jim cries softly as (Y/N) holds him. No words were exchanged that day, just two kids clinging to eachother in a desperate attempt to forget about what was going on around them.

...

"And their words are just whispers and lies that I'll never believe!"

As Jim kept his gaze forward, his mind elsewhere, he didn't notice that Silver had returned until (Y/N) bumped her shoulder with his, dragging him forward with their joined hands.

"And I want a moment to be real!"

Silver waves his hands, indicating that he wanted both of them to hop in the boat. This causes Jim to grin widely. (Y/N) immediately jumps in without a second thought and looks up at Jim with a raised brow, waiting for him to join her.

"Wanna touch things I don't feel!"

Jim's smile widens and he complies, jumping in and stumbling a bit, causing both Silver and (Y/N) to chuckle. He rolls his eyes and gets settled, excited for what the old cyborg had planned.

"Wanna hold on, and feel I belong."

Silver starts explaining how to operate the boat, and both Jim and (Y/N) nod along, not really listening. Jim reachers forward starts the boat before thrusting the lever forward, causing the boat to jerk and speed off.

Silver clings onto the side of the boat while holding his hat, making sure it dosnet fall off. (Y/N) sits in the front, leaning over the edge slightly and laughing with glee. She looks at Jim, her smile widening upon seeing his own genuine one.

"How can they say I'll never change?"

Jim looks ahead and notices a shooting star, without wasting a second he lurches the boat forward, heading towards the star. He makes his way inside the star's path, both Silver and (Y/N) laughing.

"Their the ones that stay the same!"

He starts doing tricks, flipping the boat and doing twirls. Silver yells in surprise, trying to grab hold of something so he dosnet fall out. (Y/N) laughs at the cyborg, slowly crawling towards Jim and settles infront of him.

"I'm the one"

Jim immediately reaches over and wraps his arm around her waist, getting comfortable and making sure she's secure.

"Cause I'm still here.."

Jim yells in excitement, letting out a few hollers and laughs. Silver continues to grip the side of the ship, genuinely scared that he might fall out.

"I'm the one, I'm still here!"

Jim moves out of the stars path after a while, the snow and frost from the it still clinging onto their cloths.

"I'm still here!"

They all turn to look at one another and laugh, the snow slowly melts off, the rest being dusted off by themselves. Jim turns to look at his friend and finds her already looking at him.

They both smile and lean towards each-other, resting their foreheads against one another's and closing their eyes, enjoying the moment. Silver looks between the two and smiles, pulling his hat over his eyes to try and give them a little bit of privacy.

"I'm still here.."
