"You gone give a nigga a hug or what ?"Benny asked while opening his arms welcoming me in.

"You've known me for a day and you asking for a hug now." I said laughing as I gave him a hug.

He had one arm wrapped around my neck and the other on my waist as he hugged me tightly clearly not wanting to let me go.

"I ain't even gone front I'm tryna fuck with you fr and that's something I don't say to somebody I just met." He said while looking down at me smiling.

I stared back into his eyes to see if he meant what he said but he I couldn't read him he looked empty and emotionless.

I really didn't know how to respond because I knew what I'd be getting into dealing with someone like him and I wasn't quite sure about it yet. I loved my somewhat peaceful life and the last thing I needed was a man stressing me out 24/7  and dogging me out every chance they got.

But I could be the person he changed his ways for and I know I might sound crazy but everyone isn't perfect but we all have to start somewhere.

"Well how I know your actually serious and not just trying to play with my feelings ?".

That sentence alone changed my whole life in a blink of an eye and I was now on the craziest roller coaster of my life.

Marleys baby shower was a success. She had spent a slight 10 grand altogether on the rented beach house, food, decorations, invitations, and the way she was announcing her gender which was still a surprise. Plus 10 grand was a good amount that was well spent since she was able to get everything she wanted and more.

Since Marley and her baby daddy both had a big family there was a handful of people playing games, eating, dancing, and at the beach playing in the water. It was good to see everyone come together as a big family leaving the drama behind to celebrate a new life in the family.

I don't know why I let these mf's convince me to drink knowing I didn't fool around with the alcohol cause a nigga was gone off the Don Julio. I was a light weight to this shit and those 3 shots snuck on me real quick and it ain't help that I was high as kite like always.

I could barely stand or walk straight so Ace had to escort me inside so I could chill out since I felt stuck. It was only hour left until we found out the gender of Marleys baby and I couldn't wait so I could gtfoh and go straight home.

Noelle finally came back to keep me company since she had left for a little bit to play games with her friends. She handed me a water bottle and some pizza which I'm guessing was to help me get my self together. This was the reason I had took interest in her she was considerate and different. Ace had left me so he could drink some more I swear that nigga was an alcoholic he loved that shit.

"Thank you I see you looking out for a nigga." I mumbled as I downed my bottled water.

"No problem."

It was finally time for the gender reveal and I was now feeling a little better because that pizza and water helped me out a lot.

"Okay everyone it's time for the gender reveal so please go stand outside on the sand but not to close to the water because that's where me and Jason will be standing!!" Marley spoke into a microphone to the guests.

I walked outside and found my way to Ace and Khalil who was cracking jokes about dumb shit.

"Wassup nigga you good ?" Khalil asked as he dapped me up.

"Always."

"Okay y'all get your phones ready on the count of 10 a helicopter is going to fly by and drop the color of the gender." Jason yelled aloud while signaling the helicopter it was time.

"10,9,8.....4,3,2,1" Everyone chanted as the helicopter got closer.

The color pink fell out right after and not even 1 second later blue fell out right after. These niggas had one chance to get the gender right and they fucked it up.

"WE'RE HAVING TWINS!!!!" Marley screamed while jumping up and down. Everyone was excited and shocked she was blessed with twins after having trouble conceiving. Shit my dumb ass thought they fucked up whole time it was twins that was just unbelievable.

I smiled as I watched Noelle jump up and down with Marley and if you asked me she was more excited then the one carrying them. Shit it damn near gave me baby fever and I barely like kids.

"Look at this nigga smiling his ass want a baby too." Ace pointed at me as him and Khalil busted out laughing again. These who dummy's was a drunk mess.

"Mane shut yo ass up and I'm about to roll out and head to the house I'm tired then a mf." I said while looking around for Irie once again. I don't why I kept checking for her I barely knew her but I felt drawn to her.

"Shit alright we gone stay for a little longer they about to start up a dice game in the min." Ace said while looking at me.

"Since Khalil with you can you take Noelle friends home she gone roll out with me ?".

"Yeah it's all good just hit me if you need some." Ace said as he turned to walk away to the dice game.

I congratulated Marley and Jason then headed towards Irie who was sitting on a bench with her friends and Marley little sister Marie. This girl was to damn friendly because Marie been tryna fw me for a minute and I know she was gone feel some type of way that I walked over there for Irie and not her once again. Earlier she played it off as if she was coo with it but I knew she was heated the chick was messy asf something would go down soon.

"Aye I'm bout to head out you tryna roll out with me ?" I asked hoping she'd say yes.

"I can't just leave my friends here and plus we rode together."

"Ace and Khalil gone drop them off you good."

"Oh well yeah my brother can take us home it's ok plus we not ready to go." Nuni said as Celine agreed with her.

"Okay well yeah I'll leave with you." Irie said while grabbing all the items she brought with her.

"Wait that's not fair you already left me once and now your leaving again." Marie whined making a pouty face.

I just knew this bitch was gone open her damn mouth she never knew when to stfu and mind her own business.

"Girl you got plenty of time to see her y'all can meet up and chat another day but anyways girl call me when you make it home." Celine said while rolling her eyes and waving us off. Something told me she ain't like Marie not one bit either.

"Okay I'll see y'all later." Noelle waved as I grabbed her hand her led her to the front towards my car.

I was sporting my all black hellcat today since I hadn't drove it in a coo minute. We both got in the car and I immediately sparked up my blunt that I left in the cup holder. My social button was drained to the max and I was holding on by a thread I needed a good high at the moment.

"Can I hit it?" Noelle asked while pointing at the blunt.

"Yeah grab it." I mumbled as I pulled off and headed towards the freeway.

"Damn this mf hitting." She coughed out while trying to regain her breath.

"Yeah I know." I said while smirking. I only smoked that exotic shit you'll never catch me smoking some trash ass weed I didn't even play those types of games.

I sighed then turned my phone back off I was kinda happy that Messiah had texted me because he was really sweet and nice to me.

"Who was you texting ?" Benny asked me while looking over at me.

"Oh nobody just a friend."

He didn't respond so I looked over and noticed him siting up a little bit more while gripping the steering wheel and and clenching his jaw. I'm not sure what his problem was maybe it was the traffic because we had slowed down once again. I knew he had a long way to go before we reached wherever his place was so I closed my eyes and dozed off.
