𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙆𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙀

Where I'm from nowadays you had to watch the company you kept because everyone always had a hidden agenda. Parkside was filled with nothing but people who would snake you without even hesitating just to get to the top and I witnessed that with my own two eyes.

Parkside was a community that was made for low income families who couldn't afford market rate rent. A couple years ago it used to be totally different from how it was now because drugs and violence had took over our community which was why it was many peoples goal to move out to a safer area for a better life.

I had a pretty fun childhood since my favorite cousins had lived right down the street from me so we always hung out together. Celine was 17 just like me and her older sister Aya was 21 years old but she had moved away for college so now it was only Celine and her mom who was always somewhere traveling with her boyfriend. Her mom was a sorry excuse for a mother she was barley present in her life which caused Aya to have to take care of her until she moved away so now she stayed with us most of the time.

I had recently graduated high school but instead of going straight to college I decided a gap year was the best choice for me. School didn't excite me and I definitely wouldn't be pressured into going just because my family wanted me to go. I had dreams of opening up my own nail salon so I was saving and working towards achieving that soon.

Parkside was mostly known for their ruthless gang that was starting to takeover the city in all areas. The Stk gang which stood for shoot to kill was causing lots of chaos in the streets and everyone knew not to play with them because they showed no remorse and was cold hearted the only loyalty they had was to their gang. Being that many of them resides in our community it was always something going on with them. But that's enough about where I'm from and what goes on around here you'll here more later on along the story.
